Next just relocated me across state successfully! They helped with partially packing boxes and everything including glass items were very protected. The wrapping for my furniture items and electronics was also top notch. The guys definitely worked as promptly as they could with what was available (elevators and such). I recently used Next Moving for a local move, and was very happy with the experience. I think they are a newer company so they had fewer reviews than more established companies, but since the reviews were virtually entirely positive, and they offered the lowest rate I could find, I decided to take a chance with them. First off, they are one of the few companies I think that offer 2 movers (most companies require 3 movers for a higher rate), since I was moving into a small space I didn't have much to move and 2 movers was all I needed. I really liked their flexibility in that regard. On the day of, the movers arrived on time. They came, had me sign some paperwork, and started working immediately. Everything was done fast but also very carefully, nothing was damaged or broken during the move. Communication was great, we worked out where they can park the truck at the pick up and drop off locations to avoid tickets. The whole move took less than 3 hours (like all moving companies, there is a 3-hour minimum for the move). I was very happy with the move. Next Moving offered the best rates I could find. Everything was transparent and I was not surprised by any hidden fees or charges. Overall, I am extremely happy with Next Moving and would highly recommend them! read more

I hired Next Moving after exploring multiple moving companies on Yelp and don't regret it for a second! When I initially reached out to them, I was impressed right away when Ian, one of their representatives, wrote to me to set up a virtual walkthrough of our home over Zoom to assess how much stuff we had and accurately estimate how much time and manpower would be needed for our move. They were the only company that I reached out to which offered to do this, and it showed us that they would be thoughtful and responsible when it came to our move. When I explained that we had several antique pieces including a piano that was a treasured family heirloom, Ian assured me that their movers would be able to move even these delicate items with the utmost care. The day of the move, the movers showed up on time and showed extreme care and skill in moving all of our belongings. The movers were diligent, professional, and courteous throughout the day. I would have booked a man short by my own estimations but they convinced me to add one more and I would have regretted it if I hadn't. These guys don't mess around. They are professional from the very first phone call until they are driving away after your move is complete. I have moved many, many times. But this is the first time a mover (Sergei) took the clothes that were still hanging in my closet and put them in the garment box that they loan you for the move. They wrap your furniture with care. They don't bump into the walls. Not one dish was broken. At first I didn't think we needed 3 guys, but because they were so fast, we actually saved money. From the first contact from Next Move to last, I felt I was in professional and caring hands. The two guys I requested called before arriving and from the time they started to the end they did an outstanding job. They wrapped all my things to make sure no damaged and they were handled with care. Though I hope not to move anytime soon, this time was a learned one for me. Mostly because I should scheduled 3 guys instead of two. I had some logistics issues with my building that slowed things a bit. If I had 3 guys instead of two I could have cut the time down. This was a great experience! I had to move a few large pieces of furniture from So Cal to Sacramento. The items were very important to me- one was my mother's piano. The quote was lower than others which made me actually a bit concerned. But their follow up, professionalism and flexibility was excellent in every way. Alex and the team (Nelson and Roman) did an outstanding job! We had some extremely heavy and awkward items (including an L-shaped sectional) that they were able to handle as a 3-man team. I was also impressed by how they professionally wrapped/packed everything into their truck, while also providing us with the critical wardrobe boxes (for free) to pack our closets, plus extra small boxes (for a reasonable price) when we ran out of own boxes before the packing was done and also paper to pack fragile items (which otherwise would have been a last-minute crunch in more ways than one). It was a long day for them, but they thoughtfully placed everything as needed in our new home and then even delivered an additional mattress elsewhere per our earlier request/arrangement.
