    Garlic noodles

I ordered the garlic noodles with buogoli and the food was amazing. Food was fresh and seasoned well. You order ar the counter and they call your number to grab your food. This establishment shares a space with PUR bowls. They have their own parking lot, and we found parking easily on a Friday at lunch time. There are a few tables inside, which we choose to eat at. The aroma in the restaurant was pleasant, smelling of garlic. The pricing also was reasonable. I ate half my bowl there and saved the rest. The bowl heats up well in the microwave. Can't wait to visit again for some garlic noodles.

A great quick lunch spot. I wanted something not too heavy, so I got the garlic noodles with shrimp and some egg rolls on the site. Quick, casual, affordable and tasty. You order at the counter, and food comes quickly. It's open and shares the space with an Açaí bowls place.

TL;DR - good spot, nice for families. Grilled pork rice bowl and garlic noodles were delicious. Portion size was more controlled, so perfect if you don't eat much. Get an appetizer too if you are on the hungrier side! Decent spot! The service was good, speed was normal (waited 10ish minutes for the food to arrive), ambiance was nice too. Easy to hold a conversation and good place for kids. We got the garlic noodles with pork was good. Not amazing, not awful, but decent! Portion size was on the slightly smaller end for what I was hoping for but good thing my partner doesn't eat as much so I gobbled up their bowl too lol. Good flavors and made well. We also go the grilled pork rice bowl. The grilled pork sits on steamed jasmine rice, chopped lettuce, pickled carrots and daikon. Nice flavors and cooked well. Portion size was also on the controlled side. If I come here next time, I'll be getting myself a side to supplement the entree. I'd recommend both dishes. I'd get them again!

Yoooooooo! I stumbled upon this place since it is across the street from the 24 fitness. This place apparently stays open late. They have sliders, wings, fries, bowls, pastas and sandwiches! I ordered the sliders to try and they were really good! 2 for $7.95 and they have a jalapeño sauce that goes great with it! The service was friendly and they play some really good beats! If I was a college student.c I would be studying here. They have booths so it's great to hang at. In the same space, they serve healthy bowls using açaí bases as well as other ones! Quite a good mix! I'm definitely coming back to try out their other dishes!

I stopped by Nguyen's Kitchen in Carson and grabbed both the pork and chicken rice bowls from their quick-service spot that's connected to Pur Bowl (an acai bowl place next door). The setup is pretty casual and convenient -- there's a dedicated parking lot right at the plaza so grabbing a bite is easy, even later in the evening since they're open late into the night.

Cajun Garlic Fries / Bulgogi Short Rib Steak Sandwich / Crawfish Pasta

Pasta, sandwich, and fries are always my trio when I go to Nguyen's Kitchen! The cajun fries are perfectly seasoned and the green dipping sauce gives a nice cilantro-y kick to both the fries and the sandwich. The bulgogi short rib steak sandwich is like any other classic banh mi sandwich, but the crawfish pasta has such great flavors! Little spicy but makes you want to eat more with each bite! The service at this location is welcoming and pretty fast. I like how there is both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating provides a relaxing ambiance with music and nice lighting. I've been to several of the Nguyen's Kitchen locations, and I can say that this location is up to par with the ones in Orange and Long Beach. Flavor-wise and service-wise are both consistent. Definitely recommend, even for late night snacking, as these locations tend to be open pretty late!

Great late night spot with healthier options. Their chicken meal options are good. I approve.

Best restaurant I eat at in this area. Whenever I'm down here. I make sure to grab food from here! Amazing flavor and very filling! The service is good and the ambiance of the place is great to pick up and/or eat there.

My husband and I came here after discovering the IKEA across the street no longer has a cafeteria (very disappointing) however this place did not disappoint! We had the pork banmi and the beef bugoggi banmi . Both really good . But I would have liked a bit more veggies . Will ask for extra next time . Also if you like a sweetness to your meat get the buggogi otherwise get the pork.

Garlic Noodles with House chicken: yummy!

So much flavor in one bite! I'm so happy I got a chance to come here and enjoy the cool ambiance with such a kind and helpful staff. I got something that sounds so simple but it sure ended up bringing a smile to my tummy. I ordered the garlic noodles with house chicken and wow! The chicken was moist and juicy. And then followed the lovely garlicky flavor packed noodles. Great prices. Even greater experience.

The place is spotless, and the energy we received was chill enough to reset your entire week. If restaurants had spirit animals, Blue Lotus would be a calm lotus floating on broth. The staff treated us like we were long‑lost cousins who finally came home for dinner. Perhaps that was stamped on my forehead? Super friendly, quick with the waters, and even quicker with the bowls. They didn't just serve us food, they served us hope, which is exactly what two hungry people need when their stomachs are writing angry emails to HR. "The Pho, Soul‑Healing, Spirit‑Cleansing, Hunger‑Exorcising" Let's talk about that pho. The broth had a deep, savory, and spiritually clarifying. The noodles were silky enough to qualify as self‑care. The meat, well tender like it had been meditating for hours. We took one sip and immediately felt our food spirits realign. It was the kind of pho that makes you close your eyes, nod slowly, and whisper "This is it... this is the cure." By the time we finished, our hunger demons were gone, our souls were moisturized, and we were ready to rejoin society as functioning adults. This is the spot when you're starving, craving comfort, or needing a bowl of pho that doubles as emotional support. Clean vibe, great service, and broth that could fix your life. Miguel C.

I just remember working nearby when I was younger and Saigon Dish becoming part of the routine. I came constantly. Sometimes practically every day. This was before the larger setup they have now, when the whole operation felt smaller and you got to know the person behind it pretty quickly. That person is John. And before we get into pho, John deserves his paragraph. He is one of those increasingly rare restaurant owners who makes you genuinely happy to hand him your money. In the early days, before I became the longtime regular who mostly gives him shit, I remember him talking me through ingredients. Why he chose something. What I should order. What was good that day. There was an intentionality behind the food that told you somebody was paying attention. And that's the thing I respect most about this place, he never let it go. The restaurant grew. Life moved on. I stopped working nearby. I got older. I brought coworkers. Then friends. My parents. My sisters. Eventually my wife and kids. And the pho is still good. I should establish that I'm obnoxious about pho. I've eaten a lot of it, from tiny places where nobody particularly cares whether you know they exist to polished restaurants charging you for the privilege of sitting underneath an Edison bulb. There are spectacular bowls all over California. So I'm not going to tell you Saigon Dish serves the single greatest pho ever created by mankind. It doesn't need that kind of BS. What it does incredibly well is balance. The broth is clean. That's the word I always come back to. Clean. Deep enough that you know something happened before it reached your bowl, but it doesn't club you over the head with star anise and herbs. And it isn't the sad, watery approximation of pho you sometimes encounter when you wander too far west and somebody has decided broth should taste like hot water that once met a cow. This tastes like pho. The filet mignon is consistently tender and smooth. The tripe is properly cleaned. The tendon is cooked beautifully, soft and gelatinous without disintegrating, which is where tendon should live. The meatballs are surprisingly good. The well done beef can occasionally lean a little dry for my taste, but that's what the bowl of broth and a little sriracha are for. I've also eaten my way through so much of the menu that reconstructing it would require archaeological work. Egg rolls? Get them. Rice dishes? Yep. Noodles? Yep. Vietnamese coffee? Obviously. Coconut drinks? Go for it. I've brought an absurd number of people here over the years and the remarkable thing is how universally the place works. Pho nerds can find something to obsess over, but you can also bring somebody who barely knows Vietnamese food and they'll be completely comfortable. And then there's the operation itself. This isn't some immaculate Beverly Hills dining room designed by a hospitality group. Thank God. It looks like a South Bay Vietnamese restaurant. Every available corner seems to have acquired a purpose. People are moving everywhere. Tables are turning. Someone needs extra onions. Someone wants another bowl. Someone's asking for sriracha. Somebody's kid needs chopsticks. Water appears before you realize you need it. And somehow it flows. That's harder than it looks. Service here has always felt unusually effortless to me. Not performative. Nobody is giving you a TED Talk about the provenance of the bean sprouts. They just take care of you. Parking occasionally becomes its own little hunger game. Don't panic. Circle around, wait a few minutes, somebody will finish their pho and leave. I've written a lot of reviews and I don't throw five stars around because then five stars stop meaning anything. But how exactly do you rate a restaurant you've voluntarily returned to for close to thirty years? At some point consistency becomes the review. I've watched Saigon Dish grow from the little place I remember into what it is today. I've sent coworkers here. Friends. My parents. My sisters. My own family. I've probably eaten enough of John's pho at this point that some measurable percentage of my body belongs to the restaurant. And I'm still coming back.

I told him I wanted to mix matcha with thai, and he was honest enough to tell me that it probably wouldn't taste the way I was expecting because they use powder, and it doesn't always blend well. I've ordered twice now, the most recent time left me with the "yeah I'm not coming back" feeling. I place the uber eats order: 2 shrimp fried rice 2 garlic noodles with filet mignon, peppers & onion 2 popcorn chicken The issue was the service. There were 2 very young girls working the front end. They took forever to acknowledge me waiting at the counter for my pick up order. When one of them finally approached me I showed her my phone and said that I had a pick up order via uber eats. She disappears for 10 minutes. Comes back out and started doing other stuff, gives me no update or anything. I waited an extra 25 minutes after my "promised time" on uber eats. I understand that the younger gen doesn't talk to people but that's just crazy, like at least update the customer ?? If I was a delivery person for someone an extra 25 min wait is insane They even forgot about another lady that was also waiting... The shrimp fried rice is pretty good, of course there's only like 4 shrimps in the entire container. The noodles are okay, obviously they're garlic noodles so you'll have the heavy garlic breath. Very oily and slippery, feels like it'll break my skin out. Popcorn chicken is not traditional to what I am personally used to. One of the pieces had a bone in it and I'm glad it was me and not someone else in my family that got it. There's flavor, the breading is weird and doesn't entirely cover it? Either way, I haven't been here in years and I think this solidified that I don't need to come back. The outside says Veo cafe now. They only use the door on the side for entrance. Still same ambiance and hiccups light up signage inside. Restrooms inside. Street parking or in a free plaza behind it.
