    Char-Grilled Whole Mediterranean Bronzini

Don't go to Nick's without a reservation!!! I repeat Don't go to Nick's without reservations!! You're welcome. It's a small, cute place, found Nicks on Yelp, always like to try to places. The waiter was friendly and helpful. We were seated right away because we had reservations. Ordered the lamb spring rolls and octopus salad for appetizers. The lamb spring rolls is a must try I give me a 10, I wasn't a fan of the octopus. For the main I had the bronizno and charred broccoli another 10, the lamb chops perfectly cooked and the tenderness was amazing. I really have to say nicks Greek is a must.

This cozy corner place has a diverse menu, I had chicken cutlets in a lemon sauce, with a side of roasted broccoli.. the chicken was tender, not overcooked, and a sizable portion.. they have daily specials to choose from.. a nice dinner, topped with a glass of Sangria.. a real treat..

Nick's has had top tier service and food for years! They give a nice big portion of their mussels perfectly cooked, clean and no closed shells. They serve it with pita which is great to scoop up the extra sauce. The salmon over salad is always perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. This place is reliable and welcoming. Definitely try them out if you haven't already!

We LOVE this place, we come here every week and the staff is amazing so praises to them for their great service The food is delicious, we love the rice, their side salads and the soup! We have also tried the spanakopita and is fantastic! The ambiance is also one of my favourites, any season of the year you can find a great spot!

We had a very nice time at Nick's Bistro on Valentine's Day. We made a reservation, and I am glad we did, because it was incredibly busy. The staff was attentive and polite. There was jazz music playing, and I liked that a lot. I ordered a mocktail and my husband had a rum punch which pleasantly strong. I liked the flavor of the crab cakes, but I prefer them to be a bit more firm. The marinara sauce that came with the mozzarella sticks was so good. My steak was on the rare side, but I ordered medium, so I couldn't finish it. My husband's souvlaki was very tasty (he had a pork/chicken platter). The apple crumb cheesecake was delicious. I liked the baklava, the cinnamon was a nice surprise, but I wish it was more moist. We would probably visit again. Thank you!

Always so good! My go to place when I'm in the area. The servers are so friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! The ny strip steak was cooked perfectly and the steamed vegetables pairs with it so well. Calamari was delicious. And to end the meal, chocolate mousse cake. Amazing amazing amazing!!!

Nick's is a solid place for dinner with generous portions and an efficient staff. I've been there a couple of times. The food on my last visit was mostly excellent. The whole fish was cooked to perfection. However, the veggie medley was overpowered by rosemary and the potatoes were very overcooked and dry. We also had lamb kebab that was not consistently cooked. Some were medium and other pieces were medium well making them a bit tough. The highlight of the meal was the starter - butternut squash soup. Wow! So tasty. Go early if noise bothers you as it can get loud. The joint is clean, and the management is on top of guests needs.

I love everything about this place! For such a quaint and unassuming restaurant, the food is loudly exceptional -- I was completely blown away. We started with the grilled octopus and the cucumber hummus with warm, buttery pita -- both absolutely delicious. The octopus, paired with pickled red onions and chickpeas, was next-level good. For our mains, the branzino with vegetables was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, and the seafood pasta was rich, creamy, and melted in your mouth -- ridiculously delicious. Our waiter was attentive and also knew how to craft a great cocktail. We enjoyed a Basil Splash with Maker's Mark whisky -- so tasty and refreshing. No dessert this time, but we'll definitely be back to try more. A true hidden gem that deserves all the praise!

I think my brother brought me and various combinations of past girlfriends & my kids. Last year he & I came to acknowledge our mom's recent passing. I wrote a review. One year since my brother also departed, I return to Nick's Bistro both because Nick's is an exceptional culinary experience. The food is flavorful with Smokey smells and tastes that make you hungry even as you're getting full. Just a perfectly rich to the senses experience. The service is attentive, friendly, kind and eager to answer any questions I knew I wanted the stuffed mushrooms. My brother & I split that last year. It was awesome. The mushroom perfectly warm and firm with a filling that made everything amazing. Great taste but great texture. Each bite more satisfying than the last. And filling. I ate the whole app but could easily have been split. My brother would have loved it I was struggling with what to get for my entre. Everything on the two menus sounded great. I asked my awesome waiter for suggestions. I had mentioned the New York strip but I wanted something I could only get at Nicks. He pointed me to the first item on the appetizer menu, filet mignon with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Wow! Nailed it. The meat was perfectly thin & tender, the eggs melted like butter and tasted like a rich creamy blend. The hollandaise sauce tied it all together. I'm stuffed. I finished with coffee. I'm very happy. I toasted my brother in our favorite restaurant on earth.

Nick's Combo with Grilled Calamari, meat balls and Crab Cakes

I've heard great things about Nick's Bistro and I finally got a chance to try it since we were in the area. We were promptly seated when we arrived around 730pm on a Tuesday. There were plenty of other diners in the restaurant. We opted for the Nick's combo, which allowed us to chose 3 appetizers for $25. We selected the meatballs, grilled calamari and crab cakes. I was extremely impressed by how flavorful the crab cakes were and how it wasn't too salty. The grilled calamari had a great sauce and it tasted delicious. The meatballs were hearty and seasoned well. This combo is well worth the money in variety and quantity of food since we were halfway full. We also ordered the mixed platter with pork soulvaki, lamb gyro, and fries. Although the platter was good, it was less satisfying than the flavorful appetizer we started with. Overall I had a great meal at Nick's Bistro and would highly recommend their appetizer combo. I would love to return to try their grilled octopus, Greek mussels, and seafood pasta.

Always a favorite place for our mommy lunch gatherings. Opted to sit indoors today since it's so cold. I love the branzino here so it's one of my go to. Comes with a choice of sides. For drinks, I wasn't planning on having a drink but my friend ordered a pear cider and once the waiter said I could spike it, I had to order one myself. Did not disappoint. The pear cider is made in house and can be spiked with bourbon. Perfect for the weather and it was so so good. Already want to go back for another one.

We recently dined here following a somber occasion--after my brother's funeral, much of our family gathered for a meal together. This was his favorite neighborhood restaurant. The staff could not have been more kind or accommodating. They graciously rearranged the furniture so we could all sit together in a long row, which meant a lot to us in that moment. The food was outstanding--fresh, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. The seafood salad was especially memorable: a generous portion with incredibly fresh ingredients. The gyro was juicy, well-seasoned, and served piping hot. Everyone at the table ordered something different, and we were all equally impressed by the quality and care that went into each dish. The service was excellent from beginning to end--attentive, warm, and respectful of our group's mood. It was the kind of dining experience that quietly comforts and nourishes you when you need it most. Highly recommended for both the food and the heartfelt hospitality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We're back! And what a different experience . My husband came in and Nick, who had partially taken care of us. Last time came up right away and asked where he wanted to sit. He was welcoming, kind, and accommodating. ! We decided to sit outside . I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to order so I got two orders of Saganashkee and my husband got a Greek salad with salmon which he absolutely loves and looks delicious . Everything came out in a timely manner. I have to say that the feta cheese in my husband salad is the best feta cheese I've ever had and I've been to Greece. It's so delicious.!! I couldn't be more thrilled ! Thank goodness that waitress doesn't work here anymore .

Sherry, the owner, personally served us and was incredible, so warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We also had the chance to meet her husband, the co-owner and chef, and it was such a pleasure to tell him firsthand how outstanding the food was. They are both unbelievably kind and welcoming. Now the food, wow. I had the Falafel House Platter, two friends ordered the regular falafel platters, and my wife had the gyro platter. Every single dish was stellar. Everything is made to order, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. The falafel was hands down some of the most flavorful and perfectly textured I've ever had, crispy on the outside and tender and herby on the inside. The gyro was high quality, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. Even the rice was thoughtfully seasoned and delicious on its own, which says a lot. The service, the atmosphere, and the food were all unreal. Truly a 10 out of 10 experience from start to finish. We will absolutely be back.

We opted for the alcohol free Egyptian beer Laziza (which she said translates to "delicious". We had the peach and green apple. Both were good but I personally preferred the peach. It's kind of like a middle eastern quesadilla with cheese, vegetables, and meat but with a thinner bread layer that's crispy. The portion size of this was enormous--I'd honestly say it's enough for 5-6 people to share. Between the two of us, it stretched into 6-8 meals, and it reheated exceptionally well in the air fryer without losing its texture or flavor. We also ordered the beef shawarma platter and the chicken shawarma wrap (which was only around $13). I was pleasantly surprised by the chicken shawarma--it was flavorful, well-seasoned, and not overly dense or dry like shawarma can sometimes be. It ended up being one of the better wraps we've had! If you're debating whether this place travels well for delivery, I'd confidently say yes. The food maintained its quality remarkably well, which isn't always the case with Mediterranean food. That said, after this experience, I'm even more excited to visit the restaurant in person one day. One thing to keep in mind: the portions are generous and many of the dishes are quite hearty. If you're trying to eat lighter or are watching your calories, I'd recommend opting for one of their salads, like the fattoush, alongside your meal. Highly recommended whether you're ordering through DoorDash or dining in. We'll definitely be ordering again--and making a trip to Astoria to experience it fresh from the kitchen.

It was #25 on The New York Times' 2026 list of the 100 Best Restaurants in New York City, and being Lebanese myself, I wanted to finally check it out. The service & hospitality is amazing; you can't beat Arab hospitality. As we were waiting for our food, one of the workers gave us a fresh Zaatar Manousheh. It was incredible! The zaatar was just as good as it is in Lebanon and the dough is fluffy, light, and super fresh. The Mix Grill was smaller than expected for ~$30. The meats were all tender, well-seasoned, and juicy. They have a few sauces to choose from and all were good. I would get the Levant sauce and white sauce again! If it was a sandwich, I would definitely get the garlic sauce again. There was so much rice and fries left compared to the amount of meat we got. It just felt like something was missing or it needed more protein. The Mixed Feteer was so satisfying! Everything here is freshly made and it's evident from the crispy feteer exterior to the cheese pull and steaming ingredients inside. The white sauce helps cut through some of the fat and the Levant sauce added a slight kick to it. Both were delicious! It's loaded with ingredients and easily shareable among 2-4 people. Although space is tight, I would recommend coming with friends or ordering to go so you can try more items since they have so many delicious options on the menu. There's so much I still want to try; I would absolutely come back!
