There are plenty tables and chairs for large groups. And sofas ( not in good condition at all... but sofas .. yes)... ya... big ones length wise. Pretty noisy actually. Good noise. Cheerful sharing while chilling over drinks and pastries - that kind of noise. Have been craving for fries lately and when I saw Common Bond, was very excited but they didn't carry the thick truffle fries which I was so fond of in the other Common Bond. Still, it was good fries and the staff was very friendly.... many high schoolers doing a summer job so they are super nice. They have a rewards program running - once registered, $spent is $earned in points which can be redeemed later. Staff was friendly and seemed like some of them were high schoolers or sort of, doing summer jobs so they were extra courteous and cautious - it was very much appreciated The fresh pastries were inviting and they had a big menu of other eats too. For me Common Bond and their specialty small dessert cakes went hand in hand. And this bakery did keep up that reputation- they had some sumptuous looking mini cakes. Definitely worth a visit.

Fried mushrooms are great, chicken noodle soup great. The flavor of the chicken fried steak and fried pork chop were good but the breading come off which is a bit of a deal breaker for me. The eggs I ordered, scrambled light came out like an omelette burnt and the redo wasn't much better. Chicken pot pie has a filo dough crust and is watery. I may give it one more try but there are too many more spots to try. Service one the first visit was better than the second.

Upon first glance of the interior, it looks like this space used to be a bar or something with a huge bar area in the middle of the space off to the right side. There are many circular cut outs in the ceiling where huge room fans are installed. They make all their dressings homemade, and hand bread many of their fried items like mushrooms, onion rings and stuffed jalapeños. They have salads, burgers, and 12 different comfort food entrees. They also have a daily special menu that spotlights a couple items of the day and their coffees, soups and dessert. They are a beer and wine restaurant. One unique item they have on the menu is a fork and knife hot dog which costs $13. Wow, this better be one awesome hot dog. The day I visited, they had a party for about 30 senior citizens that were celebrating a birthday. Normally that many customers in a single group would make a restaurant pretty loud, but it was actually extremely quiet in the restaurant. Every good restaurant does something slightly different to set them apart. Here at dinner, they give you a dinner roll slathered in melted honey butter and rosemary. The roll itself seemed to be made from frozen dough, but the tasty butter made it edible. I ordered the chicken club and kept the fries as my side. As far as presentation, I'd give it a C. The fries are frozen breaded fries. The sandwich tasted better than it looked thankfully. Service was good throughout my time here. Overall, the meal was good enough and I will be coming back to try other options.

So, I will start by saying that I have now been to this location a couple of times and our first…read moreexperience was the best of them and I will say that the service that we received the first time was the absolute best we have had in a while. Our waitress was Zoe and she set the bar high! As soon as we were seated Zoe hurried to our table to take our drink orders and since it was our first time, she gave us a little history about the restaurant and walked us through the menu and her favorites, she even offered us a tour of the place. I was truly amazed by the attention she gave us. The food came out extra hot and fresh I ordered the Double Cut Pork Chop 18oz, my hubby had the New York Strip 14oz and my daughter had Sliders from the kid's menu. The Pork Chop was so juicy, tender and full of flavor, I just loved the smokey flavor. The steak was made to his liking and was also juicy a thick cut and the mashed potatoes paired with these entrees are some of the best I have had. The whiskey cake was moist and you could definitely taste the whiskey in it, yum! Ambiance, this place was neat it almost felt like an experience. Zoe mentioned that the place had original hardwood floors since the place opened and was the only establishment near the railroad during the 1900s. The restaurant has multiple floors and plenty of seating. There is always plenty of parking, even if you have to walk a block or two, but they do have paid parking around the corner. We obviously enjoyed this restaurant so much we have returned multiple times, but nobody has topped Zoe's customer service.

Inside you'll find some very cool art and antique details that will bring you back in time. The food was good, very southern comfort, and heavily plated, so be ready to eat. We had two dishes but we still left with to go containers that we enjoyed in the late evening. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they give you a great history of the restaurant and some great recommendations. My personal favorite was the Mac n cheese which paired well with all the fried food.

The staff in general seem to really all like working there, when you see them interacting with everyone. The HH menu is a pretty solid menu too with a mix of wines, beers, house cocktails and some appetizers. We had the wings this last time, with lemon pepper and garlic parm, coming in hot with a side of ranch and buffalo sauce. Great wings, super crispy and had a nice crunch to the breading on there. Also, earlier in the evening got the buffalo fries, those were quite tasty as well. On a different visit, tried the mozzarella bites, and those were piping hot, super yum and well seasoned. Great place to come for HH, watch the game, or for large parties. They've got some games on the inside to that you can play and lots of space to hang around along with some private rooms.

Food- my friend and I both ordered the boss burger and added the egg. It was great, would recommend. And we shared the burger egg rolls those were good too, comes with 2 kinds of dipping sauces. The place doesn't look to large on the outside but spacious on the inside. We didn't check out all the games in the back. But would be a fun night out for a family outing, or to watch any game on there large tvs. They also have special nights like Love Island watch party night, and Ladies Night, if your into a theme night.
