We tried Nick the Greek for the first time last night through DoorDash and were really hoping to love it. We order from The Kebab Shop at least once a week and decided to give Nick the Greek a try since it is closer to us and we were hoping to add it into our regular rotation. The food itself tasted good, and we did enjoy the flavor. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed with the portions. The bowls we received were at most half full, if not slightly under the halfway mark, which was frustrating given that our order came out to $63, including a $4 tip and baklava. It honestly made us feel a little ripped off, especially because Nick the Greek ended up costing more than The Kebab Shop, where the portions feel much more worth the price. We would be open to trying Nick the Greek again in the future because the food did taste good, but based on this first experience, we will likely stick with The Kebab Shop for now. read more

Just had a great experience. Great stomer service is not that common! I tried to review on Google maps and received a weird message that they're currently not letting people review because of suspicious reviews posted previously. Maybe Tiptoe Google thinks their customer service seems to good to be true but I experienced it first hand! Today, I experienced a cashier taking an executive decision (at least in my opinion) and made the experience the best! If I could give six stars for this, I would. I didn't know I had the incomplete review. I had a chance to have a gyro and Greek salad. I thought that the vegetables were cut a bit thick, but a trip to Greece showed me that that's how it's done. Both my wife and I liked everything that we had included gyro, hummus, and salad amongst a few others that I can't recall. It was delivery so I am not sure what the actual place is like. This was my first trip to a Nick the Greek restaurant, inspired by an ad I saw for spanakopita. It is one of my favorite dishes and is hard to get, so I was especially excited. Wow was I disappointed! The height of the filling was half of that shown in the advertisement. And the Filo dough was dried out and far from flaky. It looked like it had been reheated five times. It was absolutely horrible ... I was served two pieces and didn't even eat the second. The host explained that right now they are cooking it on the grill but are considering a switch to ovens due to customer complaints. The service is great-- the gentleman at the counter was super friendly and accommodating to the customer ahead of me, and extended the same service when it was my turn. He was very patient and educated me on the different menu items. My steak souvlaki was sooooo good. The meat was super tender and all the ingredients were fresh. I came back inside to order fries, and they came out almost as quickly as I sat back down lol. They were also nice and hot, with the perfect amount of seasoning. Everyone was very friendly, amazing service and fresh food. This is certainly now in my round of "regular" places! read more

Fantastic Greek food - tastes so fresh, authentic, and really flavorful! I love all of the healthy options - so far we've tried the mediterranean bowl with falafel and the mediterranean bowl with chicken souvlaki. Best falafel I've had in the area, and so well made (crispy on exterior and soft on interior) with fresh herbs and chickpeas, and not oily at all. We love how this a healthy option for takeout and will be our weekly staple! The service and staff are very warm and friendly - can't wait to go back! read more

We ordered two falafel pita wraps (tomatoes, onion, lettuce, tzatziki, & paprika) & they happened to be BOGO free! We also ordered a side of Greek fries (fresh fries, garlic, feta, scallions, & dill), & they were still hot when they arrived. I had a pretty good visit to Nick the Greek on a Sunday night. Parking was easy and free. I parked in the garage next to the movie theater and walked over, but there are plenty of other free garages nearby too. I ordered the Mediterranean steak bowl and the froyo with baklava and honey. Both were delicious! I especially loved the variety of textures - the steak bowl had juicy, well-seasoned steak chunks, crispy chickpeas, and fresh veggies and the froyo was creamy with crunchy baklava and honey drizzled on top. My total came out to around $24.25 including tax. The wait time to place an order was nonexistent. The guy who took my order was also super friendly. There was basically no one dining in, so plenty of seating options available . I'd come back! read more

I've been coming to this location for a while now. Great food and service. Extremely friendly staff. One thing I will point out is I am noticing the portions have gotten smaller and smaller on my orders. This has been making me hesitant to come here as often as I used to. If you're paying $15+ for a bowl it should be filled up more. Also direct your team to fill up the box of fries more. Nothing more frustrating than opening your box of fries and it's halfway full. read more
