I still recommend one of those rotating toaster ovens for toasting bagels. It's soo efficient and saves on time... toasters are just still slow, even if you're the only one there so my star off. Overall I'm glad I have a bagel spot near me. Nothing fancy and quality is really just ok (kind of on the smaller bagel size and the consistency changes a bit from time to time)... but it's a little shop that does it's thing. Recommended if you have cash & a few extra minutes on your morning off to work or whatever. read more

I was in the store today and the young lady taking the orders and running the cash register was extremely rude to some of the customers. She did try to redeem herself but the damage was done. I also think the bagels were small and way over priced and not very tasty. I do understand prices are higher every where do to inflation and salaries. The staff here is so friendly! I called this morning because my colleague and I wanted to bring bagels to our team for a work meeting. Unfortunately, the bagel place near my work refused to sell my colleague more than 2 plain bagels, even though they had plenty. We needed 5. Luckily I found Nick's not too far from my house and they were more than happy to accommodate! We tried a few other flavors too, jalapeño cheese and cinnamon sugar. I just can't do it with this place anymore. The other day it was the 3rd time I came and they were out of bagels again. Like seriously? Like the other reviewers say how does a bagel shop run out of bagels?! I mean I get once and maybe twice, but 3 times! And this is just the times I have attempted to come. But Im done with this place. The owner is a super nice guy so one star for that but I really think his business skills aren't there. I can't imagine a pizza place running out of pizza or a gas station running out of gas. You don't see it happen unless there's an apocalypse or a natural disaster coming lol. NONE of the other bagel shops in the area have ever run out of bagels every time I go there. EVER. Bagel Bistro or Bonjour have never run out. I just hate going there because of the drive but it looks like I will be from now on. I sat and thought about it for a while and finally figured he's trying to save money on food cost. I work in a fine dining restaurant and we do toss a lot of non bought food out everyday. There's no other explanation because its not that hard to put an order in for MORE BAGELS! If you're constantly running out have your bakers bake more or order more from the company that supplies you. Better than having frustrated customers looking for a quick breakfast only to have to read a sign and then drive somewhere else. Its super aggravating. But I guess every small business owner has to male those tough decisions. By the way this review obviously won't hurt their business since they are selling out of bagels everyday! We came on a Saturday & it was busy. That said, it took nearly 40 minutes for 3 bagels to be made. Which to me, is an absorbent about of time for a "quick breakfast" regardless of how busy it is. If you are a smoke Salmon person then try their Salmon Sunrise. I like a little kick so I get it on Jalapeño Bagel. The prices are reasonable. Oh and their coffee is actually tasty. This place hands down makes the best bagels. Perfectly soft and chewy on the inside and delightfully toasted on the out. My wife and I have tried nearly all the other local bagel spots and every time we say "Yup, Nick's is better." I typically get their Salmon Delight on an Everything Bagel and the wifey gets their Avocado + Tomato + Cream Cheese on the Jalapeño bagel. Pro tip: It's pretty busy in the morning so be sure to check your order before you leave because they've gotten our order wrong a few times.
