A table opened up and was bussed quickly, so we made ourselves comfortable and got drinks. Maybe it was 30 minutes, but it at least felt like less time, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The food was good but not worth the price. I understand that Flagstaff is expensive but it was $65 for a 16" large pizza, and 20c wings. I've never spent that amount at places such as Dominos. Kinda a bummer... Order two slices and waited 20 minutes. Not a big complainer, so I waited patiently. At the 20 minute mark, asked if I could get an update. While waiting one go the servers dropped a bowl of salad on the ground flinging dressing all of us. She vague apologized but didn't really seem concerned in the slightest that my wife had ranch dressing in her hair. They apologized because they forgot and then brought it 5 minutes later. Visiting our sons in Flagstaff. Came here for a family get together one evening. To be fair, it was between Christmas and New Year's. My wife and I arrived at 5:45. There are a combination of bar height tables, regular tables, and booths. You order your food at the counter and they bring your food to you. It was super busy but we were fortunate to find a larger table to accommodate us. We ordered pizza for 9 people. We were told an hour and fifteen minutes to get our food. Later, we ordered a salad and some appetizers. We received our food at about a hour and twenty minutes. The pizza is very good. The crust is crisp and just the right thickness. We had a pepperoni, a veggie, and a Gary's special. The antipasto salad was tasty as well, as was the calimari appetizer. I would definitely return, though probably not at their busy time. Looking for a good pizza place with a nice outdoor seating vibe that is quick to get in? NiMarcos might be your place, then. The pizza is actually very good, but is not NY or Chicago style. This is clear Midwestern style cheese and dough high pizza. That said, this is good tasting pizza, lots of good ingredients, and good hot food. The staff is nice and outdoor seating is fun. The fireplace and tables work well. However, the one problem with this place is that it is a slow make for any pizza. I've never been here and have it take less than 30 min to get our food, and sometimes that number is up to 45 min. This isn't terrible if you are sitting around sipping drinks with friends, but if you are with kids and family, the wait can seem arduous. We were fans years ago when we had pizza at the Target shopping center location. Every time we ask a local, they always say this place. We agree. It's the best from our Scottsdale-centered selves. I ordered pizza and a salad for delivery on a recent stay in Flagstaff. I chose a medium veggie pizza and a small antipasto salad. The pizza was terrific, and even though I enjoy thin crust, this pizza was the next best thing to thin crust. Plenty of sauce and cheese, but a little light on the veggies(and if I'm honest here, a little on the salty side). I only got through three slices of the pizza and ended up gifting the rest of it to the crew at the front desk of my hotel. The salad was incredible... cheese, olives, pepperoncini, onion, salami, and a terrific dressing. The 4-star rating is mainly due to the delivery dude's lack of planning. He didn't bring plates, utensils, or napkins. His excuse? "Oh, I didn't read the note and see that I was delivering to a hotel." To his credit, he did offer to go back for these items, but c'mon, I'm hungry! These should be standard items brought to every delivery, and if the folks who ordered the food don't need those items, then just take them back. What a disgraceful experience. If you have food sensitivities or allergies, this place may kill you, or just make you sick. "Allergen-sensitive" pizza my eye! Firstly, their online ordering app does not give enough info about the options, does not say what the GF crust is (turns out it was cauliflower but don't know what else), and no option for pesto sauce - just pesto drizzle on tomato sauce (totally different), ham or Canadian Bacon or bacon bits? Who knows? I ended up calling to see what I actually ordered. We had to change almost all of it. I changed to chicken because they do not have Canadian bacon. Just reg ham I guess. I also ordered "allergen free" which just means they clean the cutter. The pizza arrived in good time and probably tasted delicious if you LOVE pepper! Literally all I could taste was pepper. And why on earth is there pepper on my "allergen free" pizza with 2 toppings (chicken and artichokes with pesto sauce)? I couldn't eat this very expensive small pizza (because it's GF so you get 1/2 a pizza) and called to find out why my "allergen free" pizza is coated in pepper. After much denial of any pepper on the pizza, he FINALLY says "oh, maybe it's the chicken. It's seasoned in Lowry's pepper seasoning." WTF? I couldn't believe it. That's gotta be the nastiest thing you could do to pizza chicken. And to know even disclose it. FINALLY he agreed to refund my pizza. When it did clear my credit card I found they'd charged me $6.52 for the delivery and tip. Again, WTF? I can't believe they had to nerve to charge me that. I came across this place and I immediately fell in love with the menu when I saw cauliflower wings because not many places have them let alone pizza joints. We ordered a medium thin crust pesto pizza with artichokes, 2 orders of cauliflower wings, and an order of hot wings. It took about an hour for the food to be delivered but it was so worth it. We usually visit Flagstaff every 3 months and NiMarco's is always our end of day meal before we head down the mountain. We 100% understood in April when we were here and had to get takeout because we were still in the midst of learning more about how Covid-19 effects the general population. However, here we are in July. There has been 2427 cases in Coconino County and you have around 145,000 residents. (2019 numbers say 143,476 so I am being conservative). Do you know what means? It means that 1.6% of the residents for this county have tested positive. 98 unfortunate deaths and that is .06% of the Coconino County population. The number of people with the virus is highly based on those who are 65+ and who have debilitating medical conditions. So, when your manager says "owner says this is in the best interest" I say baloney. So, we will enjoy our pizza and wings at the Pizza Place on the patio. We may not come back to NiMarco's. I figure our family spent around $400 a year at your establishment for the last 10 years. It is a sad state that you refuse to serve your clientele and it will come back to haunt you. read more
