I've never eaten so many boneless buffalo wings in my life. I am a sucker for Buffalo sauced wings and my first time at this place I had the wrap but quickly changed tot he wings. Very good... Because I was close by for work for over 2 months, I happened to get to this place more often that I would have thought. My last time here I had the XL order of boneless buffalo wings and a couple of ice cold beverages to wash they down. Me and my friends who are international students, had dinner last night here!The waitress who was in charge of our table was really rude. Since the beginning, she started to throw the things on the table. We asked for extra napkins and she threw it to us. The lobster we ordered was a little bit fishy so, my friend tried to give feedback to her. But she responded our feedback as, "If you want a fresh lobster, just go to the ocean and get it!" I felt that she had racism and didn't have any intention to give service to us at all just because we are Asian and not white people like the others! Why do I have to feel offended while giving my own money and being a customer at this restaurant? I felt a lot of discrimination there just because I am not white!! I went to the 99 in Danvers today and ordered 2 lunches to go, the country fried chicken and the Baked haddock. I was very disappointed, especially with what just looked like a very sloppy and careless preparation. Let me explain: First I found what the menu described and what you got were two different things. The country fried chicken wasn't country fried chicken at all but 2 exceptionally small breaded chicken cutlets. The gravy that came with it was utterly flavorless and the mashed potatoes were very cold. The menu said they offered seasonal vegetables but when I ordered they told me, no, they only have broccoli. I ordered the broccoli but it was cut way to small and it was thoroughly overcooked. The cranberry sauce was soaking in water and very diluted. Not just the mashed potatoes but the entire plate was cold. When I picked up my order, I went straight home to eat, it took me less than a few minutes to get home so again they served me entirely cold food. My guest ordered the baked haddock with cracker crumb stuffing. She said there were virtually no cracker crumbs on her plate, they forgot to give her lemon, the mashed potatoes were cold and the broccoli was also overcooked, so in summary it was just a very disappointing experience and a lot just seemed to be poor execution. I was hoping to find a good restaurant that I could buy lunches and dinners from frequently but there were just too many disappointments with each of these two lunches! I went to the 99 in Woburn and got the chicken parm for dinner. I was glad it was back but whin I got home the chicken parm was so small maybe 3 ounces. It use to be a big piece of chicken. I would not ever get the chicken palm again, so sad. 189 bucks rediculous!!!!! read more

MY family loves this restaurant and we try to come once a week or so. The staff is fun, fast and make your dining experience and relaxing! My Newest favorite meal is the TWIN CATCH! Perfect portion! Delicious! I was in today as well as last week and had an amazing meal and great conversation with Dara as well as Crystal. 7/22/18 - went for dinner - 4 people - when we walked in, nobody was at the hostess stand - waited about 5 mins to be greeted and seated. Lady took our drink order - brought out drinks and popcorn to our table 10 mins later. She said she would be right back to take our dinner order. 15 mins later - nothing!!!! We gave up - left cash on table for drinks and We left - as we walked out - 2 staff were at the front door smoking. They need to get back to work! The dining room was overwhelmed. Lunch, dinner or a quick late night bite, Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub is a great place to go. On the way back from a late night indoor soccer game, we stopped off in Woburn about 10:30pm to get some dinner to ease the pain of losing the game. Friendly bar staff and typical standard fare for pub food. I ordered the All-American Red Sox burger, which was new to me. I think I went straight to burger heaven. This burger was topped with cheese, bacon, carmelized onions, lettuce, tomato and some kind of delicious secret burger sauce. I have to admit I am a sucker for a good burger and I can't wait to go back and get another one. Reasonable prices, decent selection on the menu and big beers, always a treat! read more

Like Marlow from Conrad's Heart of Darkness I spend a great deal of time traveling for work. While I rarely find my self on rivers in tropical rain forests I do find myself in the occasional chain restaurant. Some would consider the chain restaurant to be fraught with even more danger than the Congo. Maybe. I wish I could say that traveling on business leads me to new and exciting places but most of the time it does not. Tonight was no exception to my general travels of new and exciting parking lots across the land. 99 R&P is basically a Chili's or Applebee's with a Nor-easter accent. "I want the lobstah!" Which is what I ordered, a lobster roll with fries and coleslaw. Surprisingly I got exactly what I was expecting. Relatively bland food that would upset no one and please anyone who just wanted food and didn't care what it tasted like. The bartender was nice enough. I was really bummed they didn't have Yeungling on draught. Can't get those on the Left Coast. All in all prepare for nothing because in this framed narrative its probably better that it's getting dark so you can't see how plain your food is. read more

I'm on vacation with my mom and sister from NYC to the Salem area for the weekend. Granted because it's so close to Halloween, Salem is SUPER crowded. The 3 of us were starving and happened to see this place as we were driving so we pulled in. Once you get inside, the restaurant is definitely very clean. The seating areas looked very nice and cozy. The ambiance is very "sports bar" like, but without the sticky floor and blaring TV. I really wanted to like this place, but the food was just really bad. Pro tip: do not get the nachos. I honestly could've done a better job making them myself. Half of the chips had no toppings on them at all and the guacamole was frozen. My mom ordered the stake chips and it was literally like the grizzle on the side of the grill. I ordered the Chicken Carbonara and it was just ok. You could definitely tell that the sauce came straight from a jar. It's a shame because our waiter was SO great. Very friendly and attentive and gave us tips for what to do around town. This place has a lot of potential but the food definitely needs to be changed. read more

It may sound blasphemous to say this, but the best Lobster Roll I've ever had, is at a chain restaurant and it is this one! I've eaten here about half a dozen times now and i always get the Connecticut Lobster Roll. It is loaded with tender lobster and served with hot drawn butter. It is melt-in-your mouth delicious! The place is always packed, but the service is great and friendly. Highly recommended. They also have a large menu, so it is perfect for a large group of people with different tastes. read more

Went to the Ninety Nine Bar area for Happy Hour on Thursday. We have been doing this for years. Sat in the small booths for 2 people as we usually do, as the large booths on the opposite side of the room are considered part of the dining room and not the bar. We ordered a drink and 6 bone in wings for appetizers. (Bone in wings are only served on Thursday nights in the bar area.) After about 10 minutes our waitress came back and told us we had to order 9 wings. We showed her the flyer on our table that advertised bone in wings for .50 each no minimum. She saiid her manager told her to tell us this. We asked to see her manager, who came to our table. She said we had to order 9. We told. Her that we have been coming here for years and this must be something new. She insisted that it was not. After trying to reason with her we decidedly to leave. My husband stood up to leave and said this is bullshit. She started yelling at us saying she would not be sworn at. He did not swear at her. We will not go back. I believe they need more mature managers that know how to deal with customers. She was an in experienced young girl. read more

You can't really go wrong at the 99 and like most locals I have been eating at the 99 forever. Before there were millions of them, this one was the closest to home for me. Back in the day, Woburn wasn't allowed to serve alchol to anyone not seated - what a nightmare! You'd wait and wait and wait for a table all while not having a drink to pass the time. Fortunately, that changed long ago and no one waits that long for tables anymore. Unfortunately, what I remember most about this place is that on September 11th, 2001 when I worked down the street from here we had no TVs at work and the internet was basically down, so I met my sister here for food and to get some news on the television. Everyone in the whole restaurant was there to do the same. Anyway, enough of my trips down memory lane. Great lunch deals too! read more

We stopped here on a Friday afternoon around 3pm. We were pleased to see they had such great deals! Each page of the menu found something better. They had a page of entrees for 9.99 incl soup or salad and dessert. Then we found the 5.99 daytime deals where we could pick a soup or salad and a main course. I had the sliders and side salad. The sliders were pretty much like any other slider I've had but the vinagarette on the salad was tangy and sweet and I loved it. My boyfriend got the ruben with fries and it was pretty average. Our favorite was the seafood chowder that we split. Very good! We saw after we ate that there were also bar specials for sitting at the bar for 3.99 and they had cheap beer on tap. We'll definitely be back to enjoy the specials - much like an Unos but I think it may have better deals during the day! read more

I think this is the Ninety Nine that has a waitress named Elyse who made it an art to take care of a customer. I was pretty cranky and tired when I hit this restaurant, travel was not agreeing with me and in the parking lot there was construction with very loud, noisy workers. I walked into Ninety Nine, a million dollar smile welcomed me and very,very up beat service. Anyone waitering or waitressing in a restaurant should come and observe Elyse, she is a zen master at her job! I had a chicken with rosemary herb melted cheese sandwich. It was delicious. I've ordered from here multiple times, and every time I have an issue with the dessert I receive, the towering midnight fudge cake. For instance, one time I went in to pick up my order the woman working at the time told me that she had packed extra ice cream, I gave her a bigger tip for her generosity but to my surprise when I got home and opened the bag to put my ice cream in the freezer there was exactly half a scoop of ice cream, not nearly as much as the regular amount. Along with that negative experience the next time I ordered that dessert I was given no hot fudge on the side to heat up as well as no oreo crumbs/pieces. I did a walk in as a party of 3 and patiently waited to be seated. As time went by I noticed that tony was sitting other guest, before us he did not sympothize or consider the fact that we were sitting there for already 20+ minutes. Shortly, after arriving, we had already ordered a drink, I went to the ladies room - what a mistake - I lost my appetite and wanted to leave but my hustand was hungry and wanted to eat.
