Nisa's Thai Food is just fantastic. I am a Thai food junkie and have been so desperate to have good Thai on the coast. I cannot believe it took me a year to try this place out. The restaurant itself is small and noisy, which is fine for some people, but I prefer to just get take-out. This is one of the reasons I can recommend Nisa's so highly. In addition to amazing food (which I will get to) they have the BEST TAKE-OUT CONTAINERS EVER!! I mean after years of having Thai take-out with it's far more delicate and thus, runnier, sauces put into the standard while paper cartons, Nisa's has done it right!! Not only does nothing spill, but the containers keep things warmer. Last comment on the take-out; THEY HAVE NEVER, NOT ONCE, GOTTEN MY ORDER WRONG. Woot! So, onto the food itself. The basics, such as Thai and Basil Fried rice are excellent, every time. Well spiced and exactly to your specifications on any order such as Ginger Stir Fry, Cashew Stir Fry, anything. They have a dish that I am waiting until I can go in for lunch to try where it is set on fire and delivered to the table. I think it is Sizzling Beef. It looks and smells amazing (I have witnessed it while waiting on a bar stool to get my take-out order.). They say I can even get it to go (!) But I think I'd like to have the professionals do it first. A few times, I have had to call back when the answering machine comes on but I know they are open in order to get through, but that just shows how busy they are. They are closed Tuesdays, but if you know they are open, either keep calling back or just go in and wait while they prepare your order. It has never taken more than 20 minutes. Last, not least, every single staff member is friendly and even if the language can get a bit lost in translation during casual conversation, I have been quickly recognized as a regular and am welcomed warmly every time I go in. When the spring rolls came out i took a bite and the inside was still frozen so i immediately spit it out. I did not want to be rude so i just waited for the main entree. When Pad Thai was served i took a bite. The tofu was nasty tasting, stale and cold in the middle.The bean sprouts were not fresh. The noodles were drenched in red sauce that tasted rancid. I could not take another bite. The food tasted like left overs from 3 days ago. The food was awful compared to other Thai Restaurants i have eaten at in Portland. We finally got a chance to eat at this delicious Thai eatery this past Saturday. We were pleasantly surprised with how amazing everything tasted. Amazing quality and flavoring in the Tom Kha soup. My husband had the Spicy Beef Salad and said he is now going to crave it over all others. My daughter had the spring rolls and was blown away that the veggies inside could taste so good. Oh, and the Chicken satay - to die for. The mixture of spices and flavors in every dish will keep us coming back for more. I only wish we were closer! ;) read more

Yuk!! I tried this new Thai place in Warrenton and was disappointed. The waitress messed up are order and and seemed to be confused. We ordered the fresh salad rolls Pad Thai and Panang Curry. The salad rolls tasted stale and not so fresh. The Pad Thai Sauce tasted like they used ketchup and was too greasy. The Panang Curry tasted more like Panang water soup. There was no flavor and tasted like it was half water. I have eaten at other Thai restaurants and this one is far below average. read more

We have liked this place since it opened, when Kim from Kim's Kitchen retired. The noodle dishes are all very good and flavorful. The selection of proteins are always fresh and plentiful If you have room, the desserts are very nice and fresh. I always like the fresh spring rolls too. Even the fried rice is good, not really a Thai dish, but they make it taste so good. Service is usually fast and friendly. read more
