My friend and I popped in here on a whim a few weekends ago and thankfully it wasn't super crowded as it was later in the day. It's a super cute space, but doesn't have a ton of tables, so be prepared to wait for a spot to sit at. They have a full tea and coffee menu alongside yummy pastries. The service was great, and I'd definitely come back again.

Cute little bakery with limited seating inside and out. I saw a lot of people standing in line to get coffee and sweet treats so I even joined them. I ordered a date joon that was good. You need to mix it well to get all the flavors or else the pistachio paste just sits on the side. For a sweet treat, I ordered a lemon poppy bun that was delicious my daughter loved it, and the Persian love cake that was ok. It was a little too dense for me but the flavors were good.

Saw the delightful looking cinnamon rolls in the window for which i have a weakness. Lol. Purchased one. I was not disappointed. The icing was plentifully delicious. The cinnamon filling absolutely tasty. Everything is made fresh daily. Friendly service, great coffee. Neat bags too! Highly recommend!

Their new West Village location is undeniably cute, but extremely small. There are only three tiny round tables and no restroom. We had to squeeze onto a narrow bench and hard marble stools, all while wearing bulky puffers in a crowded space. The music was also so loud that my friend and I could barely hold a conversation. Food-wise, we shared a focaccia sandwich ($12.5), which was really delicious. It came with kale, salami, dried cherries, and cream cheese. The focaccia had a crunchy top with a fluffy interior. But for the price, they could have been a bit more generous with the salami. We also tried the Persian Love Cake ($5.5), flavored with cardamom and rose water. It was beautiful and fragrant. Unfortunately, the flat white ($5) was underwhelming. I'll probably stick to their pastries on future visits.

I originally was craving a bubble tea, but it was nowhere near where I was going and I was going be late, so I opted for here. I decided to go for their Matcha latte with no ice and I got it with no sweetener. It was nice, and I meant to get the cinnamon bun after an event, but they were already closed. G tells me their cinnamon bun is really good here.

Another new coffee shop in WV. I got the house latte, which was very good. The place got super busy over the weekend. I'll gladly come back! The cinnamon buns looked amazing, but I wasnt in the mood for a pastry!

Small cafe with just a couple small tables inside and bench outside. The cinnamon bun and other baked goods I tried were good, including the banana bread which was less banana heavy in flavor than most I've had but still good.

BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.
