The ribs had a slightly sweet taste to their sauce which is totally up my alley. My sister loved the meatloaf. The soft protein mixed with the crispy onions and veggies was a good mix. The appetizers were so good; the shrimp was nice and plump. The steak in the petit plate was so tender. And the chicken piccata was hearty and plentiful. The sushi roll was meh though. S E R V I C E The employees were nice but the service was slow. I asked for water 5 minutes after siting and we didn't get it for over 20 minutes. L O C A T I O N The restaurant is really close to the water and is very cute. There's indoor and outdoor seating available depending on your mood. There's metered parking but it's kind of hard during rush hour.

The sauce helped make up for it, but it wouldn't be something I ordered again. Roti - the curry was very sweet which surprised me. I've had this dish elsewhere and usually the curry is spicy-sweet. The roti was flaky! Strawberry bingsoo - had more syrup than I'm used to for bingsoo. Otherwise my favorite dish I tried here. It's their prerogative, but I think this place would do better with a more focused menu. Based on the other reviews, there's clearly some star dishes people routinely order so it might be cost effective for them to pare down whatever isn't doing as well. If I'm in the area, I'll give them another try and see if the dishes mentioned in the reviews are better than what I ordered.

I have only ever had their bagels and schmears. They have great selections and are quick. My only complaint is they occassionally allow a customer that they recognize to skip ahead of the line. It drives me nuts. The line moves so quickly I don't think there's any reason to frustrate "new" customers. Other than that I think it's a great quick breakfast or lunch spot. read more
