The reviews for this location don't seem that great, but I haven't had any problems here; albeit, I've most ordered bagels with shmear and some coffee when I was up early in the morning. The bagels have always been fresh and have consistently been good, toasted with shmear. I haven't had any problems with the wait time or service when I've come here in the mornings. They are also open very early (including on the weekends), which is a plus. read more

This location used to be sooooo good but the chain has changed. Bagels are inconsistently cooked, never seem to have the kind you want, mismanaged. Lox shmear is pink with no pieces of lox. There are around 8-10 staff but obviously not managers. Posh in Davis is better. read more

Went there for breakfast, got a Asiago cheese bagel and a dark roast coffee. The bagel was good and tasty, but the coffee was not good, too watery (despite the fact that I am not a coffee person) and not hot, after I added a bit of milk, I was drinking room temperature coffee. read more

My first time at this Noah's bagels. This particular Noah's shares its space with a Peet's Coffee, get your bagels and get your coffee. Being a college town you can expect long lines especially if school is already in session, all the employees remained calm and friendly. I enjoyed my yummy jalepeno cheddar bagel with onion and chive cream cheese. Sometimes, they will add a lot of cream cheese which can ruin the bagel, I suggest getting the cream cheese on the side so one can put as much as they want. If I'm in the area again I will definitely make a stop here. read more

Stopped in a couple of weeks ago, late morning. Ordered the turkey sausage bagel. Expensive and not worth the money spent. Horrible, bagel was assembled and toasted on a panni grill. The sandwich was burnt and fell apart while I was eating it. The cheese was all over the sandwich and the egg was hard and burnt. Not again, no way!! read more

I come from Southern California, and love the Noah's down there. I still enjoy the bagels at the Davis location, and LOVE the coffee, but I think the store is filthy. There are constantly multiple flies inside the store, swarming you and your food. I have never seen a table wiped down, and they often are visibly dirty. It is very uncomfortable to eat inside. Coffee and milk/cream/sugar/utensils run out, and the workers often need to be asked for replacements. They are also very frequently out of bagels, and mislabel the bagel trays, adding to the confusion. I do love the food, but hate the actual store. It's always a dilemma whether I should give them my business... read more

I really wanted to love it here, and would probably go visit once more but my first experience to Noah's Bagels was less than mediocre. My kids and I came here on a late morning, and was greeted by a sign on the door stating that the ovens were down today (understandable since it's a new store front). It's seemed very steady inside. Line was confusing since there happened to be a lot of people waiting for their orders (no real spot to wait for to-go orders), tables weren't wiped down, and floors were sort of a mess. We waited for about 20 mins for our order - 2 Nova Lox. I ate mine at home and gave the other to my mom. My order was fine but my mother's had a blonde hair strand in it! I had already threw out the receipt so I never had the chance to bring it in to return it. Totally not ok. I always want to go back when I drive by but then I have that flashback of my mom pulling out that blonde hair strand out of her mouth. read more

The bagels are great and the workers are really nice, but please fix the line situation. I come on weekends and every day people are confused and cutting each other in line because orders are sometimes taken at the order station and sometimes at the payment station and sometimes they switch between both in the middle of taking orders and everyone is confused. Typically this place is great. The food is fine but the service is struggling. You don't know whether to order at the front or back. It is slow and seems understaffed. Always long lines and no organization. I will only put up with this for so long before I start making my own bagels. Plus, do something about all the flies. Getting kind of ridiculous. read more

I was very unimpressed with the service and quality of my food. I ordered a pastrami panini and waited way too long for it (about 15 minutes) and it was cold in the middle. Wish I could give this 0 stars because it was gross. Fast turnaround time was the only plus. The sandwich I got was the Ancho Chicken, the chicken was grey, tough, and had a questionable look , texture and taste. Like it had been microwaved too long. The "bacon" if you could call it that was rubbery, brown, and looked scary. The bagel was a little tough as well. So gross. Fast food would have been a better choice. If you're going there for a bagel, it's safe but don't get this sandwich, so nasty. read more

Are you kidding me? Order took almost twenty minutes to come out, and then we get home and there's NO BUTTER on our bagels. You can see where someone half heartedly wiped their knife on the bagel, but no butter. Why would anyone go somewhere that can't do the simplest thing in relation to a bagel. PUT BUTTER ON A STINKIN BAGEL! Btw, you pay for butter. Not like Panera. Not coming here again. Would highly recommend that others find a different bagel shop. Try Posh or Panera. i have been waiting for my bagel for the past 15 minutes. usually noah's is fast and has good service. i have been disappointed with the lack of efficiency at this noah's. this is the not the first time i have received slow service at this noah's bagels. i would recommend having more people on staff to help make bagels especially during the mornings. read more

Line management is really horrible and the food isn't that great. I'm surprised at the slow service at this location. Perhaps it's a franchise. Really tried hard to keep coming because it's convenient and the coffee (good) was self-serve. However, staff isn't very friendly although I've been coming for 6 months and today (although I was an idiot and didn't understand the "reward") - they were rude and just dismissed me. Maybe I'm just feeling this way because they tricked me into their rewards program and for the sake of giving them my email, I would have expected a bit more understanding. Again, I know I was wrong but they didn't need to push me out the door! Won't be going back. Luckily there's a Noah's in Vacaville where I work. We'll see if they value their customers. read more

Wow not sure where to start. This place sucked. I had some women yell at my sisters and me about 5 times on where to place our order. I kept telling her we need a second to look at the menu. Then to top it all off I saw another employee pull her hair back with her hands and without washing continued to make food. read more

Coincidentally enough I was in the store at the time that Lauren M's order was playing out. (I know because I recognize the sequence of events.) She's absolutely right. I waited 30 minutes for a Bacon and Cheddar Egg Mitt and a plain bagel with cream cheese. This is now the second time I have waited 25+ minutes for my order. It boggles my mind that it can take 30 minutes to get an order out. I was counting the number of orders they put out and in the 30 minutes I waited, they were able to put out 8 orders. I have had no issues with the place on weekdays late in the day, but if it's busy when you get there, save yourself a half an hour and eat at one of the other restaurants in the Marketplace. UPDATE: After taking their survey, I was contacted by the Area Manager who apologized and even included a gift card for my troubles. The bagels are very nice! Most of the time, anyway. I get a day-old bagel (not stale, but not soft) about 25% of the time, so I try to ask for the fresh ones cooling on the racks against the back wall. The service could use a little work. I find the lines are a bit long and about 10% of the time, they get my order wrong. read more

The bagels are fine, they are what I expect. HOWEVER, what makes this Noah's bad is the service. The employees are incompetent and do not know how to run the place. There is always a super long line, not because it's so good but because the employees do not know how to get people through. You never know where to order or pick up because they with back and forth between registers. They are almost always out of some kind of bagel and don't plan on making anymore. Don't expect your favorite type of bagel to be there on a weekend because the bakers do not know how to prepare for the soccer team or church crowd and don't make enough bagels to compensate. read more

I have gone here so many times and it remains my fav bagel shop. I usually will order a chocolate chip bagel sliced and toasted with cream cheese on the side or a bagel dog! But they are usually out of chocolate chip bagels my lunch time which is disappointing. The same happens with the bagel dogs. The service can be slow but the staff are kind.
