What I love about this place is it reminds me of the bagel shop back home I used to go to a lot. I'm obsessed with lox bagels and it's nearly impossible to ruin it unless you go out of your way to do that. Got the lox bagel and they have an open face option that adds more lox. Didn't go that route this time. Since they share a building with Peet's the environment can be a little loud and hectic l as it caters to all audience. Students, families, etc. so expect loud noise when coming here. Glad I came with headsets to isolate the sound. After waiting a half hour in line for my very basic order and after another 20 minutes of waiting to be serviced I couldn't have been more disappointed by the laziness and lack of service from the employees. Upon receiving my food i figured out that they did not toast a single one of my bagels and I spent just shy of an hour in the store. Customer Service & wait time need HUGE improvement!! To start, their online ordering was not working so we had to make a call in to order which was not a big deal at all, but after the order was made we waited ten minutes then my girlfriend and her sister went in to go pick it up. An hour and a half later they arrived back with the food. Half of it was cold, so we had to warm it up. On top of that, my girlfriend and her sister had stories of how rude the staff was. Went to Noah's Bagels two days in a row. Both Saturday and on Sunday they were closed at least an hour ahead of schedule. On Sunday, even though they had a "closed early due to shortage of staff" sign, we saw people heading in and out of the store and went in to inquire on their situation. The moment we opened the door, before we could even say anything, a lady less than 5 ft from us yelled at the top of her voice "No, no more bagels!!" We have been regular customers of this Noah's Bagels for many years now and have even gotten the bagels for work functions but we are now considering that maybe we should move to other stores in the area like Posh Bagels for our bagel craving. read more

I will miss going here, but I've visited for the last time. A sesame bagel with cream cheese should not have mustard on it. Or taste like lox. I think knives should be wiped after cutting bagel sandwiches, and the prep boards should be wiped down. Probably gloves should be changed occasionally too. The bagels are delicious but it's an administrative disaster. They rarely ever have the types of bagels I want when I come in and so then I have to place an order and come back later that day or next day. I've had mixed experiences here. There bagels themselves are decent. I lived in New York City so my bar of high. (And if you want a NYC bagel/sandwich, you should be going to Solomon's anyway.) The only things they had available were Asiago, blueberry, cinnamon raisin, and French toast. Yup. With lox???? My grandfather owned a Glatt Kosher Restaurant in New York City and he just rolled over in his grave. Again.... Solomon's..... But hey... If you want a french toast bagel with blueberry cream cheese, this is the place! I would definitely not call those Place dirty, but the front end almost always needs attention. I think it would do well if they can have someone passing and wiping tables more regularly.....I don't think I've sat at a freshly cleaned one.... Ever? A big plus is that they share a space wth Peet's Coffee. They also have a nice patio. The bathroom is one of those awkward things where you have to ask for a key and walk all the way around the building... Rumor has it there is a pokestop here to but I wouldn't know that first hand. Love that this place is so close by to my apartment and an easy 8 minute bike ride. I ordered an everything bagel with herb schmear and a sesame bagel with strawberry schmear. At the counter i asked for it toasted but i realized i didnt want it toasted. I didnt realize that the person had already made one when i changed my request so when she gave me my bagels i apologized. However when i got back home i saw that my everything bagel barely had any schmear on it and i was pretty disappointed as i was looking forward to having it. Bummer that all Noah's got bought out. You can tell they aren't the same. The atmosphere of this one just is so old with no paintings, shelves completely empty and the service is horrible. They work fast but when you ask questions they're disgruntled. I bought a half dozen and asked for one to be sliced and toasted but the worker said I couldn't do that since I took the bag from him so he just rolled his eyes and grabbed a free bagel. After it was done they just grabbed it and waved it in the air for me to take from them? No bag and how am I going to grab a piping hot bagel straight out of the toaster. Wish it could go back to what it was fifteen years ago when it was kosher, well kept and had people who loved their job. Only coming back here for fresh bagels but I'm bringing my own cream cheese because over $3.50 for one bagel and cream cheese is ridiculous. Came in for a bagel and orange juice for myself and a bagel sandwich and an orange juice for my girlfriend. We placed our order they did not have orange juice ready so we had to wait, this should have been our first clue something was up. The girl disappeared for around 5-10 minutes and then returned with what appeared to be orange juice. Left and began eating and went to take a drink and noticed it tasted like tang. Finished it because it was expensive and found a thick layer of an orange substance that looked like drink mix at the bottom of both cup of orange juice.
