Ordered a Panini. It was okay, but it had that rubbery chewy quality that you can only get when some or all is microwaved.

My father went in last week for a sandwich bagel ( egg n spinach) the lady behind the cash register took his $100 dollar bill marked it and handed him back change for a $50 n claimed he gave her a $50 - after checking the bill n marking it ! I found this out today - as my father is old n he casually mentioned how the cashier at noahs refused to give him back proper change and pocketed his money . it took almost 20 minutes for me to get my bagel. they're surrounded by corporate buildings and there's a movie studio across the street. stay on target. make a goal, meet it. do a pull-up. pick a flower. make a customer happy. this is one of those places that says, "we're in such a great location we don't really need to keep things up 'cause they'll always come in droves." i come here 3 times a week, and 2 out of 3 times i'm disappointed. too frequently they've run out of coffee, or the bagel is burnt rather than toasted (i've literally seen bagels on fire in their toaster), or have to wait forever to get my order. it sucks i won't be coming here anymore, the bagels themselves are decent. whatever, the cute cashier's been gone a while anyways. ********** $2.29 for a bagel with cream cheese? really? i came back after a couple months of boycotting and got more of the same crappy service. i thought maybe the manager wised up and brought more people onto the morning shift. and she may well have, but more ass clowns behind the counter does not make for better service. i think my favorite part of this trip was watching ass clown #4 make a row of sandwiches (at 9 in the morning??) and then get handed a bag for the patented "Noah's Namecalling Bagel Retrieval System" which doesn't work well if half the people involved are illiterate. she shrieked the name once, put down the bagel and continued making sandwiches. then the guy came back from the coffee station and stood around, his poor bagel getting colder by the minute. read more

I had a good experience here as opposed to a number of other reviewers. I must admit I was a bit worried when I came but this place was close and convenient. To my surprise, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good place to come for a quick bite with the family. read more

I absolutely love this Noah's bagel. They are always so accommodating when I order more complicated orders. I am a bit of a picky person so the fact they will create new parfaits for me when I ask is very nice. Plus, their ingredients always seem fresher than other Noah's I've been to. I've had nothing but positive experiences at this Noah's, so I was surprised to see so many (recent) negative reviews. Maybe it has to do with the time of day? I'm always there around 6:00 am, and the employees are usually super friendly and QUICK for it being so early in the morning. I limit myself to one visit a week, but lately it's been more like once a month or so (trying to kick the carbs, ugh!)... and even then, they remember my usual order and get it going before I even get up to the register. Can't ask for much more! The asiago is by far my favorite, and it's always super fresh and chewy, the way a bagel SHOULD be -- take notes, Panera!! The staff seem to have gotten nicer and the coffee is more consistently filled, but the products are so inconsistent! Whenever I'm here, I ask for extra cream cheese. Sometimes I'll get a mountain of cream cheese that's way too much, with gobs falling off, other times I'll get what would at best be a normal amount of cream cheese, probably less. It doesn't feel like my requests are acknowledged, which is frustrating especially when it's not even that busy here. read more

Came here for a quick breakfast. Got the whole wheat bagel with smoked salmon shmear. Service was quick and they have a good selection to choose from. The bagel was ok, but I wouldn't say it is as good as the bagels back home in NY. The shmear was very good. read more

They never send the rewards that they promise for their promotions. Noah's Bagel use to be my go to place for breakfast but over the years, this location, as well as the Manhattan Beach location, the quality has gone down drastically. I have gotten rotten fruit plenty of times that I never ever get it and just stick with the chips. That worked for awhile, while the sandwiches were still good. The sandwiches are now so small that the last time I got one, I actually couldn't believe it. It was like the worlds smallest sandwich for like $6. Beware! This place will ruin your day. Came in on a Sunday just after 6am, ordered two breakfast sandwiches and a toasted bagel. Our order was ready 25 minutes later that itself is annoying, but as we were driving we discovered our order was completely wrong! I called to tell the "worker" but of course they didn't answer the phone - shocker! I also want to mention there was only one other order besides ours. My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch one day. I ordered a chicken sandwich on a bagel, and he ordered the chicken salad sandwich on a bagel. We sat down with our food, and half way through his sandwich he found a screw. YES, A SCREW. As in the metal kind. He informed the teenage staff, who did nothing other than apologize. Company I work for Ordered breakfast a few weeks back. They shorted the order and we had to call them to bring what they shorted us. Annoying, but it happens. THEN today we ordered from them again, and the delivery person was rude to me and insinuated I took what they shorted us last time they delivered. WOW! Really? I work for a very large company that orders food for Meetings weekly. I also am being promoted, and will be the person to take care of ordering food for the company. Guess who just lost business. Piss poor service and wrong order. Was in the area handling business and decided to order 2 bagel sandwiches to go. Ordered a turkey bacon sandwich and a club. Well they first gave me the wrong bag and someone also returned a wrong bag, but then when they gave me my bag, I should have checked. One was a turkey club and the other was a breakfast sandwich. By the time I opened the bag I was already at home which is not near the location, so this is my only forum to complain. Also when I was placing my order they rang me up wrong. I'm a big supporter of a little bagel place, but this place is ridiculous. First I go on a Sunday morning and it takes 30 mins to pay for your food. They had one girl (clearly new) ringing people up but not one person went and helped her. Meanwhile there are 7 people making bagels and hanging out, so the bagels are sitting there cold because Noone has paid for them yet. Go back in the next day to give them a 2nd chance and saw the same people. I'm standing at the order counter to place my order and a smaller girl says that I can place my order at the register. I came in ordering a bagel. While I ordered the bagel, I asked the cashier if it came with the spread and she said yes. As soon as I looked at the price, she charged me another dollar and I told her to remove it because it was too expensive. The cashier didn't even listen to what I said in the beginning when I asked her if it came with the spread. This cashier needs to pay attention to what the customer is saying. Huge fan of the sourdough bagels but they are not consistent with their baking skills. Sometimes they are great, others, they're burned or tough. Staff is always nice but they ones making the orders need to step up, I've had my order mixed up or messed up. One of the few places that do a on point lox sandwich in the area. The olive oil and herb bagel is matchless as far as I'm concerned. This is actually my second time coming here the first time i ordered a bagel to go and didn't get a chance to eat it until later in the day which lead me to come back the bagel was soft and still had a fresh taste. this time i ordered a vegetarian breakfast sandwhich it was delicious and the portion was huge i actually shared with my coworker and the coffee was good also. i also enjoyed the service how i was greeted upon entering and exiting good job ladies. read more

Good bye Chelsea! Really disappointed to the new changes! No more Noah's coffee! Changing to Peet's which is incredibly overrated and in every airport that doesn't like Starbucks. To make matters worse now you have to stand in line to get coffee with all the food purchasing folks. It takes forever. I went way after the lunch crowd, close to 2. There were two guys working here who really seemed like they didn't want to be there. I ordered a Turkey Avocado Bagel Thin. I was the only customer and I made sure it was going to have avocado. Guess what, I get back to work and open up my sandwhich and of course NO avocado! Avoid this location if you can. I'd rather drive a little further to the other location in El Segundo. They are SO slow and just unprofessional PERIOD. When they make mess up the order or pronounce someone's name wrong, they respond with "my bad"; now, I'm not against using slang whatsoever, but not when you are speaking to customers. I really hope corporate reads these reviews because the employees at this location really need to put some pep in their step and need to be a little more professional.
