I ordered from Noah's Bagels through DoorDash the other day and received a horribly burnt bagel that was completely unacceptable. I left a review about the experience and got one of those generic corporate copy-and-paste responses from the manager. I decided to give them a second chance two days later by ordering again to see if anything had improved. Big mistake. This time I ordered a Farmhouse sandwich and a Nova Lox bagel sandwich, and they still managed to mess up the order. The Farmhouse sandwich is supposed to come with bacon, ham, eggs, cream cheese, and regular cheese. Instead, I received a bagel with barely any cream cheese and random veggies on it. Completely wrong order and terrible quality yet again. I received the nova lox sandwich, but barely any cream cheese on it and I did not receive the chips that were supposed to go with my order. At this point, it's obvious this location does not take customer complaints seriously because the employees continue sending out incorrect, low-quality food with zero attention to detail. This is honestly one of the worst Noah's Bagels locations I've ever ordered from. Don't waste your money or time ordering from this place, especially through DoorDash. I honestly wonder if customers would receive the same poor service and food quality in person, or if they just treat delivery customers like they don't matter. I love Noah's. But for today's visit, the music was extremely loud and of a kind of music I disliked. I looked at the ceiling and could see there was nowhere to get away from the music. Nothing fancy and nothing boring, the restaurant was clean, smelled of fresh bagels, and the workers were all very friendly. It appears there's a lot of regulars and they are all addressed by their names, lovely to see how friendly they are to everyone. Well, my first mistake of the day was thinking I'd get a Noah's Bagel... there's a reason I haven't gotten one in years. Here's a remind of why... the bagel I wanted wasn't ready, so I justified it by telling myself I was early. So I ordered a plain bagel, toasted with plain cream cheese. Then it got awkward, the young lady helping peaked around the corner and then the baker came out and you could tell they were having some issues. Got to watch her wave her arms around at him as he grew irritated. All the while she had my basic ass bagel with plain cream cheese. It's what I order, technically... but for a company that says, "nothing beats a good schmear" I've seen better schmears on a child's finger painting project. Then I paid for it! First off I've worked in the area for many years. This location had its ups and downs. This new crew has been on top of it. I'm greeted with a smile and I look forward to start my morning with their Chelsea coffee. I even come in three time a week because it's a quick and convenient. Plus the customer service is great! The employees there now want to be there and do a good job. You can see a difference from last year to now. If you previously didn't have the best experience, I say try them again. Their prices are reasonable and my opinion the Chelsea coffee is a good cup of coffee is you enjoy vanilla hazelnut. Plus this location is always well maintained and clean. When I went in, an employee was being super rude to another customer and saying things like "so what do you want me to do about it?" Because he was telling her that the ice in all of the drinks was melted. When he tried to hand her the drink she said that she's not allowed to take it back into the kitchen and told him he can do whatever he wants with it? She was just super rude and started laughing about it with another employee. In terms of my food, it was fine. I got a bacon egg and cheese and my cheese wasn't melted and the bacon had no texture. Unfortunately we did not enjoy our experience this morning. I ordered a customized BLT, requested no mayonnaise. The person even recommended me plain cream cheese instead. When we got the order, the bagel did not have cream cheese, it had mayonnaise only. I got up and kindly asked the same person who took my order to make another bagel the way I ordered it. She started arguing out loud saying that I asked for cream cheese but did never said 'no mayo'. Not too happy about it, they prepared another bagel which we got with a combination of mayonnaise and cream cheese. Suboptimal customer experience. I waited almost 20 minutes for two toasted bagels and cream cheese and a lox sandwich. I only received two out of the three of the items. I was told by the preparer that after all that time waiting that that was my problem because I must have not ordered it. If I wanted another bagel, I would have to wait in line and pay all over again. This did not appeal to me because there was a another long line queue up. I asked if I could speak with the manager and she told me the cashier WAS the manager on duty. It was reiterated that I would not get my second bagel (which they had made by this point) unless I started over in line. UGH!! I worked in a service job for many years. I had a lot of points in my app but I was hesitant to use them as I have had so many issues with the app in the past. One time I had fraud on my account and they clearly have no fraud rules as the person used my credentials at a place in CA 300 miles from where I live and I used the app in the morning, I have only purchased bagels at two locations near my house. The Fraudster did 5 transactions in a row using all the points and $'s, it took me 6 months to resolve with Noah as they don't seem to have a customer service department. Additionally, a few times I tried to use the app to pay and the service person behind the counter told me it did not go through and asked ot swipe again and I got charged 2 times. The people in the stores say they can't do anything with the app so I wrote in and again it too me months to get the issue resolved. On this recent occasion I selected redeem points in the app and it took me immediately to a screen to start a mobile order, I followed the instructions in the app and it then charged me and took my points. A week after my complaint I got an email from Noah's, it was generic and they did not address my concerns or reimburse me for the charge. I told them I did not want points back I wanted my money back because I have a lot of points and I did not want to pay $10 for a bagel sandwich. I knew they would not even read my email or address my concerns, they have the worst customer service. I recommend not using the App because if you have issues they don't fix them. read more

Havent had Noahs in ages and decided to stop in since last experience I remember the one in Oakland was terrible. Tried odering ahead in the app in which it didnt give me many options for the babel selection. Come in and was greeted from Kamonie who has an infectious smile and awesome personality. I showed him what the app was doing and he said "sometimes it will act funny but I can take care of you " . Staff was very courteous and when the food came out my Farmhouse one egger with jalapeno bagel with jalapeno smear was excellent. Came again and had another great Farmhouse Jalapeno Bagel. The Walnutcreek location doesn't disappoint you. They make your customized bagel the way you wanted. I ordered the jalapeño cheddar cheese bagel with egg and it was delicious with jalapeño cream cheese. The service gets a bit slow to abide by the protocols during pandemic, but I respect that. 5 stars for not messing my order and giving me exactly what I've asked, everytime I've been here. read more

My kids love the bagels here. I don't so much, but the low stars is about the service. It is hit or miss. Some are friendly, some not. I was really surprised by the food handler who wore her mask under her nose the entire time we were in the restaurant. It is one thing to have different views about the necessities of a mask in the middle of a pandemic with a dangerous Delta variant. However, I was placed on hold for 15 minutes! I finally decided to just hang up-It's not okay to put a customer on hold for that long. Got to the store and of course the order didn't go through. My first order here we got the avocado toast. Was so disappointed because the avocado was clearly not ripe. Not sure if whoever made it just doesn't know what a ripe avocado looks like.
