I needed a new honest mechanic & found this place through several recommendations on Nextdoor.com. My daughter's car was making a noise and they discovered that the lug nuts on one wheel were not completely on and some were stripped and needed to be replaced. Apparently, when she last had her brakes fixed, the last place didn't replace the wheel correctly. How dangerous is that?! The mechanic was super nice (sorry she didn't get his name) and even took the time to show my daughter what he was talking about so she could understand; they also charged her a great price! If she would've taken her car anywhere else, I don't doubt they would have said it was something major and charged her an arm and a leg. I come here a lot to get my car fixed and I really like the service here, it's pretty fast. Me and my family trust this place to get reliable good service and we have been coming here for years. It better to come early in the morning because it can get busy later in the day. I think right when they open is the best time. I've been meaning to review Nolan's for the couple months it's been since my visit. Id been to 4 different mechanics in the previous 4 months trying to keep my little car running. First off, it wasn't that hard to find (which of you know that part of Fullerton, it can be difficult to locate a business on that road). It didn't look like an auto repair from the street because the bays are in the back. Small front office. Next, the customer service was outstanding. They really listened to what I was having trouble with and worked with my budget to fix my 10 year old car's issues in order of priority. They kept me posted throughout the different repairs, and did the job(s) under estimate. Not by much but it's worth noting. They even showed me problems created by a previous repair done at another place, and advised me that, while loud, the noise I was hearing going over speed-bumps wasn't going to cause any damage or make driving unsafe, so I could put it off. Bottom line, super honest, super service, skilled technicians and no pressure. I wont go anyplace else now, and I send everybody I can to them. It's worth getting to know Nolan's. read more

The only place I go to repair my truck. Wonderful trustworthy staff, & fair prices. My entire family has been going here for years, & it's the only place I've never had a complaint about. My dad has even been through training to be a mechanic (just doesn't enjoy that line of work), so he knows good and reliable work on vehicles when he sees it. I tried going to the dealership across the street once w/ a FREE synthetic oil coupon, but after a 2 hr wait they said would be 45 mins, they used PARTIAL synthetic because they forgot I said I ONLY use FULL synthetic. Plus they refused to let me wait by my car too. I like to see what they're doing and make sure they're not messing up my car. But at Nolan's I don't feel the need to after they have done a great job of earning and keeping my trust. Needless to say, I will never try another mechanic again. read more

I had asked my friend Paris D who his auto mechanic was and referred me to Nolan's. I originally called to get a quote for water pump & timing belt service. He was really great and gave me a couple options and answered all my questions. Well, few weeks later my water pump started leaking. I dropped it off at Nolan's so he could take a look. He called me later that day and stated I did need a new pump and also gave me different options for the timing belt as well.
