The line gets pretty long around noon, so it's better to come early or later if you don't want to wait. If you want to order noodle soup, the wait is longer than the regular food line since each soup is made to order. Instead of waiting on the regular line on the right side, you'll have to squeeze in your order on the left side with the cashier. Sometimes there's already a short soup line in front of the cashier to place your soup order. If you're not ordering soup, then the regular food line moves pretty quickly. You pick the items you want and pay for it. Chicken Noodle Soup (made spicy unless you specify not to) $8 - It's pretty spicy if you go with the spicy option, so you might want to add your own hot sauce if you're not sure you can handle the heat. The ingredients are fresh and comes with tons of chicken, bok choy, onion and carrots. The noodles are thick rice noodles. General Tso Chicken was pretty good. I got it with a side of rice and mixed vegetables for $7. Pot Stickers 2 for $1 - These pot stickers were meat stuffed and deep fried.

I considered giving Noodle Cafe only one star, but then thought that being a bit unfair. Plus I worry that Sara M would unfriend me if I did. This is a Dragon*Con visit, around 6-ish on a Saturday. There was a line but not a long one, so I arrived at the counter in short order. Before getting there, all I had to go on in terms of options was the menu placed fairly high and mostly out of view until I got closer to the counter. Well, that was a waste of time anyway. You order whatever they have ready and you won't know that until you get close. After the helpful gentleman behind the counter waved off my first two choices (one off the aforementioned menu, one based on the signs under the counter), I selected noodles with 'spicy' thai chicken and eggplant. During this interaction, he also pointed to a sign that said something about the lunch special. Not sure how that was relevant, it not being lunchtime. Next stop was paying. Another helpful but younger gentleman asked me what I ordered so he could ring me up. Rather than guess what he wanted me to say - noodles with meat & vegetable?, specifically what meat and vegetable? - I just pointed to the box he had in front of him and said 'whatever's in there'. He opened it and rang it up pronto. Why not do that in the first place? The scene was a bit hectic (Dragon*Con) after all. So, my impression is that they could use a little organization behind the counter. But no big deal, even if I really didn't get what I wanted. The food: terrible. Chicken was tasteless, not a hint of spiciness and riddled with bad cuts. The eggplant was somehow even more tasteless than the chicken and cooked to the point of being almost a fluid. The noodles were also bland. Only liberal amounts of soy and sriracha made the whole meal palatable. I actually considered dumping it and getting something from another vendor, but I was on a schedule. Maybe I ordered the wrong items. I'd actually give this place another try, ordering something different. After all, Sara M splashes five stars on the place. Must be something to it. But my visit was not good at all.

Noodle Cafe at Peachtree Center in Atlanta is a great place to go for all things noodle bowls and rice. I really like their pad thai and some of the other dishes I was able to try out. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious and is a good option if you are hungry and need something fast and good quality. The staff here is very friendly and works hard to provide good service.

Found his while staying at the Marriott Marquis. Only a block away, this place is a food-court diamond. Hidden off to the side, you'd miss it, but let me tell you. Find it. To easily explain: its a Thai version of panda express, in model. But the flavors and quality were fresh and delicious. The lunch special is any two items and noodles, rice, or half/half. Great deal!

For food court food, it serves its purpose. I had a show across the street and this was a good option for a cheap and quick meal.

The chicken and shrimp combined with the ginger soy sauce was delicious. Asked for it to be fried, and the texture was nice. My fiancé ordered panang curry which was flavorful and spicy. The chicken and beef were a minute or two overcooked since they were so thin, but overall, a filling and satisfied dish. The server offered replacement meat however my fiancé declined. Our server even gave extra rice to go upon request, which was thoughtful and made the experience even better. I ordered the drunken noodle with chicken. Again, chicken was a bit overcooked, but the dish was delicious, especially the fresh bell peppers throughout. Honestly wanted a bit more peppers because they were so good, but overall, good portions of each part of the dish. Service was great, and the ambiance was nice. Because it wasn't a lot of people there at the time, it felt intimate and romantic. Will return in the future. Thank you for an amazing time and great food!

I have never in my life had Americanized Thai food (or at least been conscience of it) but this tasted every bit of that. Not a single Thai national or descendant cooking or dining in here... I should have slid out the door upon noticing this but we were HONGRY and this place was walking distance. I appreciate the big portions to help alleviate the hunger, but the food going down wasn't even close to a real Thai experience. And the general ambience was definitely off. It's unclear whether this is a casual to-go spot or a sit-down spot or a bar. The service here was confusing. You have to order drinks separately from your food, for one. Secondly, it took a solid 10 minutes for a bartender to walk behind the bar and begrudgingly explain to me what they have available. I would have ordered more but her attitude made me close the tab after one beer. We didn't get served water until after we received our food, a solid 15-20 min after being in the restaurant. It generally felt like no one wanted to be there, and the staff were just moving independently to complete tasks instead of creating a dining experience *together*. There was not a smile from a single person I interacted with. I'd most likely not return purely because the dining experience is just plain out uncomfortable. On to the food. Mostly oil and noodles except for the papaya salad, which was... okay. Again, big portions. Nice heat. But just okay. The whole cherry tomatoes on top were a little weird and screamed laziness. The tofu kee mao was... okay. Same for the chicken pad thai. Lots of oil. This food made us feel pretty tired after eating it, which I've rarely experienced eating Thai cuisine. And they were very, very stingy with the protein. My husband counted 4-5 little slivers of chicken and hella noodles. The same was true for my tofu dish. I mean... it's tofu y'all. Cheap. But I can imagine they have to cut these corners because there were about 8 staff members running around in a small space with only a few customers in for happy hour. They do have HH deals on drinks depending on the day, but I found the drinks to be overpriced and not worth it. Especially the beer. And a $10 non-alcoholic cocktail is wild imo, especially for the scanty area this area is in. They are certainly milking the fact that they are in eyeshot of the Mercedes Benz stadium. The inside is beautiful and very ~trendy~ and honestly that tells me exactly where the focus is. I'd rate this a 2, but I'm adding a star for the spotless restrooms.

This restaurant is really the best kept secret in Atlanta!…read more My family visited here this week for the first time since around 2014 and, despite our fears that it wouldn't live up to the great experience we had then, they EXCEEDED our expectations. We ordered so much and everything was delicious - nothing below an 8/10 in my opinion. We ordered the seafood spring rolls (8/10), crab benigets (8/10 with a special note of originality), and the shrimp appetizer (10/10). Spring rolls- very crispy and flaky, had the "sea floor" variety of seafood inside, flavorful 3 sauces to go with it Crab beignets- a slightly cheesy and airy beignet with a genius crab dip blend. The whole table was surprised on how good it was. Shrimp appetizer- the best "bang bang" shrimp I've had. Shrimps are very large and has a nice fruit salsa to go with. Everyone at the table loved their entrees but I can only truly speak for the ones I tried. Seafood Curry- I will NEVER eat curry anywhere else! I LOVEEEEE THIS CURRY! All the seafood is so fresh, the curry is so flavorful that I literally slurped the rest off my plate. There was also such a variety of veggies in there that were also very fresh and firm (not soggy). For the price especially, you get sooooo much and with such a thoughtful recipe. According to our waitress, it's the only recipe that hasn't changed since the restaurant opened in 2012! Fried chicken - I didn't try the chicken itself, but I did try the Mac and cheese and greens that came with it. Let me tell you, I am very picky about Mac and cheese and this rivals the best Mac and cheese I've had in Atlanta (toast on Lenox)! The greens were also fantastic and flavorful, but a little on the sweet side if that's what your preference is. For dessert, all 4 of us shared one slice of the suspension cake and couldn't even finish it! It was ginormous (literally the size of your head). I won't even go into details- just order it! The ambiance is so intimate and unique- not feeling like an "uptight" boujie restaurant, but curated and thoughtful. They have very nice seating outdoor that is enclosed as well as a beautiful bar area. Lastly, the service is fantastic. I genuinely can't recall my waitresses name, but they speak so highly of the head chef (Calvin) and most have worked there 8+ years, so it really feels like home. I write this review with hesitance because I want this place to remain a secret, but how could I not brag! Book the reservation!
