    Trying a new spot
    Crystal C.

First time trying this place. Not bad prices lots to choose from. Nice location in tower. So nice and so fresh! I got a beef pho and a Mongolian beef entree. Made to order hot and quick! Definitely try them out when you're around the area.

I've ordered food from here multiple times and never disappointed. This time my order was a mess. I ordered pad ka prik and the basil chicken which are my go to dishes. This particular time the food was soo oily it was inedible. This might be my last time eating here sadly.

We found this spot looking for Thai off the 99. It was a small cute little spot right in the corner. My sister ordered the spring rolls and chicken pad Thai. I ordered the egg rolls and the beef bad Thai. I thought the egg rolls were delicious and she really liked the spring rolls. The pad Thai was good but a little, I don't want to say slimy because that's a weird visual but that's the only word I can think of. The pad Thai was a 7/10. The service was great. She was very friendly and attentive. Overall it was a great experience with some good last minute food!

The sister and I came to Noodle Express as the dude and I always go to the Lincoln right next door and always wondered trying this place out. So on my day off the sister and I went on her lunch break. It was a lot of fun trying this place out and we were surprise how delicious and flavorful the food is. I usually gauge a place by the salt dispensers and if it's GONE GONE that's a sign that the food isn't tasty but their salt dispensers were FULL. No need for anything extra added as everything was seasoned with love and perfection. Our server was very kind and sweet. Made sure we had everything we needed. We arrived around 12:15 and out by 12:50pm definitely a place to go if you have a hour lunch or even a 30 minute lunch as the food came out HOT. FRESH. And QUICK. Affordable prices and disappointed I haven't got their food since as I am always in the area due to work or just entertainment ;). Such a gem! They have plethora of vegetarian options. The fried tofu is delicious...well everything is. I can't wait to come back here !

We ordered to go, the service was good, she took my ordered sounded like a busy day. The inside is nice and clean, nothing fancy though. This is probably the best place to get pad Thai from in Fresno. They have great spring rolls & the pad kra paw with crispy pork is so tasty, highly recommend. A random person suggested we get it the first time we went and we've gotten it ever since. It's has a fried egg on top with crispy pork, peppers onion and mushrooms and a yummy sauce.

Incredibly delicious and consistent flavors each time I eat my meals from here. Ordered Pad Si Ew, with veggies & tofu, no egg, and extra noodles. The moist, hot noodles...okay they frankly melt in your mouth. Soooo delicious, and not just the noodles- everything in this dish is fresh and delicious. It can be customized many different ways to your liking. I enjoyed a take out order. I just have to give a special shout out to the detail and care taken when preparing the veggies. The carrots and zucchini each are sliced in a unique style, which helps to make the whole meal experience more enjoyable! They didn't have to, but they did... starting to eat first with your eyes, satisfaction wise- that's just icing on the cake...or the sauce on the noodles- Lol! Well done Noodle Express!

This place is a nice lunch spot. During my visits, it has not been busy, and we were able to dine in comfortably. The staff are very nice and attentive with any needs. I love getting the pad Thai it is always freshly made and definitely in my top pad Thai picks in Fresno. It's so good I always finish my plate.

One of my favorite places for Thai Food. The place is small, but the service is quick and staff are friendly. Everything is fresh and loaded with lots of flavor. My favorite dishes are the Pad Si Ew and Noodle Express Yellow Curry

    Khao poon
    Nicole L.

Service here is always polite and fast. The Bo boun and khao poon are our new favorite items to order. The chili oil is the best we've ever had anywhere! The potstickers were not that good; prolly just not our preference. Ambiance is casual; good place for quiet lunch/dinner date or getting food with friends. This has become one our regular spots to get lunch/dinner. We'll be back!

Idk. *shrugs* This time we got: Pad Kra Pao, Pad Se-Ew (beef), Yellow Curry (chicken), and Thai Style Papaya Salad for dinner. We each had a different favorite dish out of the three entrees... Pad Se-Ew was mine (noodle head), followed by the Pad Kra Pao (perfect flavor, not too strong on the basil, egg fried just right), then the curry last (I prefer green or red more). The salad was good, refreshing. No spice whatsoever, but we knew that (one of the girls can't handle as much spice). The winner of our dinner? The Thai Tea Flight! I love the option of flights anywhere I go. It gives you the chance to try all the flavors you're curious about without committing to one that you may or may not like. Man... these were amazing. If I had to rank the flavors-- it was a toss-up between the Original Thai Tea and the Ube but since this is the battle of the Thai Teas... the OG gets a slight edge. Both freaking amazing though (we ordered full sizes of these after). Obviously Thai Iced Coffee comes next but coffee should be it's own category. It wins on its own as coffee. The Green Thai Tea came in last for all 3 of us, I believe. It's good, just not as good as the other three... and it's definitely more fragrant? Idk the right word for it. Anyway, I'd make more stops here just for these drinks alone now that i know how good they are. Staff was amazing. Friendly. Attentive. Restaurant still very aesthetic. Their plating of the meals? A+. It was a very good dinner.

We got there around 11:30 AM, and it wasn't busy at all, which was a huge plus! We got seated right away, and our server was super sweet and answered all of our questions. We started with the Thai tea, and I'm so glad we did because it was SO good! It was refreshing, and I'd definitely order it again. I ordered the Lunch Combo Special ($19), which came with two veggie egg rolls, Pad Thai, Panang chicken curry, and your choice of potato soup or salad. I went with the potato soup. It came with half of a potato in a broth, and honestly, it was way better than I expected! It had a lot of flavor. I thought you got a lot of food for the price. The veggie egg rolls were nice and crunchy, and the Pad Thai was really good, especially since it was my first time trying it. My favorite part was definitely the Panang chicken curry. It had so much flavor, and I'd absolutely order it again. Overall, this is such a good lunch spot! The food was really good, the portions were great, and everyone was so nice and helpful. My friend has also ordered their lunch to go before and said they still give you a lot of food, so that's good to know too. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend stopping by for lunch. Unfortunately, my experience had a hiccup: I was served Thai fried rice instead of the pineapple version and didn't realize it until I noticed the absence of pineapple. Just a reminder to double-check your order when it arrives. Service was a bit inconsistent. Some staff were occupied with side tasks like folding napkins, while others seemed hard to find or a bit inattentive. Overall, a mixed experience with good menu variety but room for improvement in service and order accuracy.

I really liked the spot, and we were looking for a Thai place we like that is closer to where we live - in the Bullard High area. We started off with vegetable egg rolls that were beautifully rolled and perfectly fried, and came with a delicious sauce. That was followed by a Chicken Larb Salad that was fresh and delicious. It was spicy - we requested medium spice on the two dishes that offered a range of spice - but perfectly seasoned. My only complaint would be that there were too few lettuce leaves to wrap in. Our main dishes were Pad Thai and the Thai Chili Basil Crispy Pork. Both were very tasty. The Crispy Pork was one of the best things I've had in a while. It too was supposed to be medium spiced, but interestingly not nearly as spicy as the Larb Salad. I only had a couple of bites of the Pad Thai, but those were very good, and my wife enjoyed it. Finally, for the amount of food we had, the price was very reasonable.

**Review from 2024 .......... Added here from previous trip**…read more So finally tried Thai Basil. Here is my honest review.... I am sooo glad we have something different in Madera. With that said here we go... Service.. service was super slow for an empty Sunday night. The young lady taking orders had no clue what sauces were on the dishes, had no clue what the ingredients were, she couldn't explain anything, she read the description on the menu back to me. She stated she had not had most dishes there. Her description of the cucumber salad was it's cucumber in a clear watery sauce.. ‍ I'm happy she was there to take our orders and she was nice. Presentation.. Presentation was quite nice for Madera! It was nice to see simple, yet pretty playing! The curry soup.. the flavors were quite muted for Thai food IMO. It was a good difference in texture having it topped with wontons. We ordered it medium spicy as well, which was great. The spicy pork flat noodle dish had great heat at medium spice level, wish I would have gone hot, since I like things SPICY . The texture of the pork was quite tough since they used a leaner cut of meat which was ok. I was surprised at the amount of meat on the plate for a noodle dish. Speaking of noodles they were almost sprinkled in in super small pieces, but the texture was on point. We wished there were more noodles. The broccoli seemed out of place I wish there was more Chinese broccoli which was cooked to perfection!!! The cucumber salad was delicious!!! We both stated we wished the onions weren't three inches long. I will definitely be making this at home! It would be a perfect pairing to grilled chicken or shrimp for a nice summer dinner!! We loved it!!! Saltiness of the food.. I think of Thai as having a few key flavors and the dishes are definitely on the saltier side, this was lacking salt, butttttt I prefer more salt than most people so not a true fair assessment. I was surprised there weren't any sauces on the table. Design and lay out.. it was very small inside but they did well with the space allotted and I loved the decor. The place needs a good dusting, we sat next to the wall and the wood was white with dust directly over the table. Overall it was a great meal considering I didn't have to cook, the plating was lovely, and it was something different for Madera! I wish them well!!! I'm happy they are here!!! Buttttttttt so far Coconut Cafe in Merced has a strong hold on our heart!! I can't wait to go back and try the Larb and the Pad Thai!
