After having my entire white sweatshirt sprayed with Orange Hi-C dye the employee removed the fountain cap and there was definitely something growing which was why it sprayed everywhere. I want my $75sweatshirt that Got ruined for food that costs $10 but in all honesty worth $3. I have tried ordering from here multiple times and each time I have an issue so today will be the last time I do so. I always order the Wisconsin Mac and cheese and a half or full order of potstickers. Each time I order the Mac and cheese I find something that was not ordered inside my bowl. Such as spinach, green onions, different noodles etc. Today finding chives. My potstickers are usually not horrible with the occasional over cooked one here and there. Both my family and I tried to order online (a few attempts) for pickup and the order did not go through. I tried to call the phone number listed on the website and it went to a person in Oklahoma (Dana) who I gave my credit card info to and she could not get the order to go through. She gave me a different number to try and it went to a guy (Derrick) in Colorado. He knew my name and phone number. I cancelled my order at this time. The dining room was closed so I could not go in personally to place my order. The phone app did not work either. This screams "NOODLES DOES NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS AND WHILE WE ARE TELLING YOU THIS, WE ARE STEALING YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!" What is going on here? Eww, chain! Alright, I'm not hating on chains as they serve a purpose. For me, I needed a Thai fix in the worse way and this place just opened up recently in Muncie. As such, the place looked like it should being new and all ... clean, warm and inviting. I ordered the Indonesian Peanut Saute. It had some kick to it and it got hotter with more hot sauce I put on it. I added chicken, more broccoli and a flatbread to the order. I also threw in a beverage and it came up to about twelve bucks which I thought was a bit pricey. I did enjoy my meal but I did realize that I can get similar food from local Thai places for cheaper. I was debating giving this place 2 stars or not due to the fact that one of their employees came to our group to inform us we were a bit too loud. Why? First time to visit this restaurant. $33 dollars for our family of four, and my boys were still hungry when the food was gone. I think if they would have gotten two entrees they would have been full, but then, who wants to pay fifty bucks for fast food. We arrived there about 8:30 pm. The restaurant closed at 10 pm, but they already had half of the restaurant blocked off for cleaning, forcing everyone to sit in the section up front. The restaurant was not very clean. Under each table were the remains of noodles. It kind of looked like there had been toddlers there all day and had left the customary dregs of food all over under the highchair. They apparently clean the restaurant once a day at the end of the day whether it needs it or not. Everyone liked the food they got. Pretty solid fast food. Stick with Mediterranean or udon dishes. The Mac and cheese is a calorie bomb. This is a chain--it's Muncie, after all. I'm not a big fan of their thai and indonesian noodles. They seem a bit oily to me and not very flavorful. The Japanese style udon is ok, though. The Italian dishes are pretty good.... the mac and cheese is a bit bland and tons of calories. This place has an amazingly wide variety of cuisine choices; Chineese, Japanese, Thai, etc., plus "good ole American" types of dishes. One must just try them to learn preferences. Like a typical chain; usually "not as good as we hope or as bad as we fear." My food was OK, today, with respects to taste & good temp. As with most franchises, it's a nice facility, good decor, great seating choices, and they clean your table for you. Food tastes like it's shipped in, canned or frozen, then warmed up. Okay, it's a chain. However, I was excited when it finally came to town. I had eaten at the Alexandria, VA location years ago when I lived there and never had a bad meal. The thing that sits this place apart from others in town is the service. I have a great experience every single time I am served. Super friendly and always willing to give extra. It seems like the "norm" at most chain restaurants (or even locally owned) is to push them through with little to no charm. This place is the exception. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken but with no peanuts and what looked like the manager asked if I didn't want peanuts due to preference or was it an allergy. I was happy that he asked but for me it was a preference. I really don't like peanuts. Food came to the table and my pad Thai had peanuts. I reluctantly ate it but only half because I couldn't get passed the peanuts. Why ask why I don't want something when you're just gonna still put it in the dish?! He was the one who even brought our food out. I dealt with it but when someone specifically asks for something not to be include in the meal, don't put it in the dish! I get take out from here almost every week. I've never had a bad meal, but this restaurant is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to consistency. I usually get the same few things and it's always just a little different each time. For example, I've had the chicken ceasar sandwich probably six times and only once has it been prepared with wonton strips like it is supposed to. Sometimes your chicken noodle soup will have the carrot and celery topping, sometimes it won't. Sometimes you'll get silverware, sometimes you won't. It was just as good as I remembered and I really enjoyed my Japanese Pan Noodles (wish it was spicier--but, that's not the restaurant's fault...I like spicy!!). I have given this place multiple chances and they have all ended with disappointment. Noodles dishes are incredibly bland, dry and have very little sauce. Their marinara sauce is so acidic I got a stomachache afterwards. They're cheesy bread was stale and had way too much salt. Nothing tastes authentic but instead just pre-packaged and warmed up. My family and I love noodles and company for the gluten free options. This location went above and beyond for customer service. My husband was alone with a sleeping baby in the car so the associate on the phone let him order and pay over the phone and brought him the food when it was done. Very helpful with a sleeping baby. i guess this is a chain but i liked how you could choose between two portion sizes and add "proteins" a la carte. i had the japanese noodles with shrimp. it was a little spicy and everything tasted fresh. the server told me that they had free wi-fi and that i should come back to study and make myself comfortable. i guess they want a lot of students in there? anyways, it was really cheap and tasted good-at least the asian menu. will go back soon. read more
