    Norms Classic Cheeseburger (Value Combo)
    Marcus C.

Norms is a late night diner staple. Open 24/7, it's always busy but they always have room for everyone who walks through their doors. Mornings and holidays are when it's most packed. The employees hustle and bustle to get the food out in a timely manner. You never have to worry about waiting for the check as it's always dropped off at your table for you to pay at the front counter whenever you're ready. The menu is your standard diner fare, with breakfast being the most filling. They have lots of booths and tables for every configuration if you're coming with a group. The interior is as clean as could be, and the restrooms require codes to access. Overall Norms is pretty aces when it comes to diners. It's a good place to unwind and catch up, have a family meal, grab a quick bite with friends, share a milkshake with your sweetie, or have a nice cup of Joe (their Colombian coffee is strong!). Norms is not high class, but it's dependably decent any day and any time.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The food is always delicious. Portions are huge. I can come here anytime and enjoy trying out all their delicious foods. Service was great. We love it. It was so fast so very ideal if you were hungry. Lastly I noticed the updated retro decor of the entire interior space of the restaurant. I love the feeling and nostalgia it is trying to impart to its customers. We will definitely come here more often.

2026/02/07 update: Today was a good day to come here for lunch, I was expecting the wait to be long but when I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised to see no wait, I got seated immediately. My friend treated me to lunch here for my birthday. Their menu changed from 2 months ago. I was kinda looking forward to a T-bone steak trio but they changed it to a NY Steak Trio. It was good and filling, but I still prefer the T-bone steak trio. The service was friendly and professional and attentive. They checked in with us a couple of times to see if we need anything.

Fantastic food, friendly service and a great diner vibe. Clean and large seating area and plenty of parking. All the food taste incredibly fresh, coffee flows endlessly and the kindness of the staff and servers are phenomenal!! Highly recommended!!

Norms, this ain't it. Pickup was super smooth, . I grabbed a full slab of ribs and some meatloaf to go. But I got home and checked the containers. The coleslaw was literally empty. Like, did someone snack on it in the kitchen or just forget to scoop it? Respectfully, that is krazy and so off-putting. The whole vibe was just a mess, fr. 1 star.

Norms will forever feel like home to me. I've been coming to this location for as long as I can remember. I especially love the feel & look inside during the holiday season. It could get busy during lunch or dinner hours but usually won't wait over 30 minutes. My parents eat there weekly. Recently I joined them on one of their lunch dates. Got a big & delicious breakfast. Food was good, service was good. Food came out pretty quick also.

I don't know why, but norms always hits when it's late at night. Our server Carlos is the best. He's so funny and very patient and you can tell he loves his job...

This place was very popular on a Sunday afternoon assuming it was a church rush but we got sat (our party of 4) within 15 minutes which was very impressive. They really know how to provide quick and quality service and turn the tables around fast. I ordered the "Classic breakfast" which included two eggs of choice (I got over medium), hash browns, choice of bacon or sausage (I got bacon) and choice of toast or pancakes (I got pancakes). I also ordered the "Jamaica," agua Fresca and it was so refreshing. Our servers name was "Dolly" and she was very kind and helpful to us. The restaurant maintained a clean environment. I would def come back here again and try other menu items. I highly recommend this place if you want good diner food at a great price as well. Our check was about $60 and (4) people ate!

4.5 Stars It was our first time at this location! I've been to the one in West Hollywood a couple of times, and while that one has a roomier entrance and easier parking layout, this spot still had plenty of charm. The parking area here felt a bit more congested, especially getting in, but once inside the experience made up for it. We went on a Friday night, so there was a bit of a wait. I was told 15-20 minutes but was pleasantly surprised--it ended up being only about 8 minutes. The host was friendly and welcoming. Our family of three was seated in a cozy booth, and I really liked how the layout creates smaller, more intimate sections--it gives it that classic, old-school diner feel. Our server, Ms Kristina was amazing (just like so many other reviews have said). She was warm, engaging, and attentive without being overbearing. Great customer service--she checked in on us several times throughout the meal. The food came out hot and fresh. The onion rings were a bit crispier than I prefer, but everything else was on point. The fried fish was basic but perfectly cooked--light, golden, and crispy. I added some freshly chopped onions and pickles to give it a little extra flavor, and it was perfect. It's definitely a nostalgic, old-school spot with a relaxed, friendly vibe. The floors had a few crumbs when we first walked in, but I noticed a staff member sweeping not long after we were seated, which was appreciated. Overall, great food, great service, and that classic diner comfort I love. We'll definitely be back!

Norms is great, and the service is greater! Our waiter Pedro was on point. Diner was COMPLETELY full with a wait too and he came to check on us, refill coffee/water, and even after the check he kept the service up!! GO PEDRO!!! It's what you can expect from a diner breakfast, but the Buffalo chicken skillet was surprisingly good!! There was crispy chicken as promised and it was very flavorful. French toast was honestly a little disappointing, but the pancakes were great :)

Definitely got old school diner vibes here lol Our waitress was great and friendly. We were really craving milkshakes and they didn't disappoint. Made with real icecream they were top notch! Too bad they don't have a cookies and cream flavor. We shared a combo dish that had ribs and buffalo wings. Weird mix but it worked out since we were craving different things. The prices are outrageously affordable and it seems it doesn't compromise the quality of food.

It's super hard to find an inexpensive place to eat that has decent food. Love going to Norms. What stuck out to me about this location is the service. Aynne was our server today, and she was so capable, kind and helpful. She told us she's worked here for 33 years. She knows her stuff. Shes one of the best servers we've ever had.We felt like we came in as diners and left as friends.

Our waiter, Marcus, was so kind and attentive. We told him it was our first time visiting, and he happily told us that pretty much everything is made fresh in house. Definitely made it hard to decide what to order because it all looked so good. We started with a pecan roll, which was served warm and was only $2.75?? Such a perfect way to kick things off. We all pretty much went for lunch food, but wanted to sample the housemade sausage so we ordered a spicy turkey patty to share. It was so flavorful! I went halfsies with a patty melt/curly fries and a cajun chicken sandwich/regular fries. I was easily able to swap the rye for sourdough and jack for American cheese. It was hard to pick a favorite, but I think the patty melt won for me! It was perfectly grilled, delightfully melty, and so juicy. And the curly fries are definitely worth the $0.35 uncharge. We were in and out pretty quickly, but now I just want to go back to explore more of the menu. Such a gem!

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. I saw the reviews and photos and I knew I just had to stop by. Thankfully I had read the review about parking because it can definitely be confusing. Parking is street parking and a short walk to the restaurant. I did see a lot up ahead when I initially turned in the driveway but the sign looks like it's meant for a different business. I found parking right before Weddington and walked to Bruxie. On my way a shady character started following me and speaking to me and I power walked to the restaurant to get away. As I turned the corner I was greeted by friendly staff. There is someone behind the window to take orders but also someone outside the window able to take orders as well. After looking at the menu I orderd the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with a side of waffle fries, and also a breakfast burrito with a side of tots (that I planned to eat tomorrow morning). I paid and then waited in the shade of the outdoor seating which has allot of shade and it's a nice area to sit. My food was ready in maybe 15 to 20 minutes and then I walked back to my car as I had to get to my next destination. Unfortunately that shady man was waiting for me and when I rounded the corner he acted like he was ignoring me but then he started following me again!!! I ended up taking advantage of my long legs and I did a long legged power walk back to my car leaving him in the dust. People saw me walking so fast with such long strides and were looking at me like I'm crazy. When I looked back the man was still walking my way staring straight at me but thankfully he can't walk fast to catch up to me. The point of me writing about this is to be careful on this street, keep your eyes on your surroundings and do not get distracted staring at your phone. On my way driving to my destination I started nibbling on the waffle fries and they were so perfect! I don't know how to explain the puffy crunch that comes with them as you bite down. So perfectly crispy yet soft! I then decided to try the tots and they are perfection too! The perfect amount of spice that gives a hint of spicy but it's not overwhelming. I wasn't planning to eat both the fries and the tots but before you know it I arrived at my destination and both were in my belly! I then ate the Nashville chicken sandwich, absolutely delicious and generous portion, I love the taste again spicy but not overwhelming, it was perfect. My only wish is that the chicken could have been a thicker piece of chicken but it was a thin long piece. Other than that it definitely hit the spot. I am looking forward to eating my breakfast burrito tomorrow morning!

The salad was topped with a spoonful each of refried beans, sour cream, guacamole, grilled chicken (3-4oz), some chopped tomatoes, sliced red onions and finely grated cheese completed the array. A side of salsa accompanied the tostada. The salad was fresh and good, but the shell was a bit too greasy. I still ate the whole thing, so it definitely wasn't bad.
