I have never been to this location before, it is hidden and you'd drive right past it if you're not paying attention. They offer complimentary valet parking which is nice. The dining hall has an abundance of natural light, it's really open and bright. The service was great, we walked in around 5pm on a Saturday with no reservation, and didn't wait long for a table, even though the place was busy. Service was great. Menu is large and has lots to choose from. We had a little bit of everything... some appetizers, a pizza, salad, snd some drinks. Everything was prepared and seasoned perfectly. I've never had a pasta dish from North Italia I did not love. I've had most pasta dishes on the menu- this time I ordered the bolognese (house speciality). Consistently delicious. But you got a bar against the wall, open tables & booths all over the place. & the actual kitchen is in the other corner in the wide open. so with all that going on, its gonna be a bit noisy. The drinks were about 11-14$ each. a little overpriced for a simple cranberry & vodka. The Strozopretti was fucking so delicious & fresh. the pasta was cooked perfectly. the chicken was nice & juicy. & the sauce was nice & creamy. my lady got the chicken pesto. You can immediately notice that the pesto was not some bullshit canned pesto you get at a walmart. They make this shit in-house. The combination of creamy pesto, with a hint of lemon zest is subtle & actually refreshing. the ingredients are top notch. The margarita pizza was a bit underwhelming. it was very saucy & slightly undercooked. which made the pizza more doughy than you'd expect. especially with the large amount of sauce they put on the pizza. overall, the dinner set us back about 125$ with tip included. Would i go back here & give them my money for their food? absolutely. i would mortgage my soul to this establishment. Another great place in Arcadia! Came here for dinner earlier this year and got the lasagna :) it wasn't as flavorful as usual and not very typical for me, BUT I think there's a good chance this version of lasagna is actually more authentic Italian! It came in a little bowl and was quite hearty. Nice ambiance of the place, quite cute. My first trip to North Italia was great and definitely a place I will be returning to. The Braised Short Rib Lumache was the first dish I tried. The short rib was cooked perfectly and basically melted in my mouth. The sauce on this dish had a slightly bitter taste that complimented the savory short rib perfectly. The spicy rigatoni vodka was also amazing, and definitely my favorite dish. The pancetta was crispy and held a lot of flavor, and the sauce had a kick to it but didn't overpower the tomato paste/cream flavor. Only reason I'm not giving this visit 5 stars is because the valet was very rude and made my arrival unpleasant. read more

How have I not stopped here sooner? This place is AMAZING! First of all, the ambience of this place is very cool. The indoor seating area is beautiful. The building has a barn-type structure with super high ceilings. I loved the open kitchen concept. Our food was to die for. We ordered the calamari appetizer for the table. I ordered the spicy meatball pizza for myself. It was one of the best pizzas I have ever had! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and high quality. We capped the night off with a special from the dessert menu. It was a caramel apple butter cake with salted caramel gelato. I thought I was too full for dessert until it was served to our table. I had to make room for it. I left feeling super full! Not to mention, our waiter was amazing. Very attentive, accommodating, and respectful. He made our experience special. I have been to this establishment many times and it brings me back for a variety of reasons. If you are trying to walk-in to dine there it will be a stretch as this place is usually packed after 5PM. The service is good but not great as tables are filled with people and your server may be busy. The old fashion I ordered was a 4/5, good but far from great. The chicken Parmesan is one of my favorites here. The noodles come with Alfredo sauce which is a nice contrast to the red sauce. The chicken has a nice crisp and crunch to it and layered with a fine amount of cheese. I will be going back here to get this again because it did not disappoint. The pizza pictured below was Hot Honey & Smoked Prosciutto and was cooked to perfection. It met my expectations and worth the order The desert was chocolate espresso with ice cream and a nice way to end the meal. North earned the 5 star rating. We came on a Thursday night. I had called earlier in the dY for reservations for 4 at 6:30 and was told they only had openings at 4:45 or 8:15, but walk ins were welcomed. I figured we were going to wait. I tried to find a parking spot, everything taken except for on handicapped spot up front. Such a FUN and happening place. It's a must if you visit AZ. Got there and line was out the door. So reservations is a must if you not you could be waiting 2+ hours. Hightop tables and bar areas are first come first serve basis. Luckily when we walked in to our out name a high top opened up which we were able to snag. Restaurant is huge and spread out. Service is top notch with how busy they are. Great wine list and a variety to choose from. Truffle cheese bread is a must. It is SO yummy they have a dash of butter hidden between the bread and cheese which makes it so creamy. I could have just ordered that in its own. Margherita pizza hmm yummy, something about fresh basil and cheese. Pizza was SO fresh and flavorful. Crust was perfectly cooked not hard but with a crunch. They have a variety of pasta as well which we didn't get to try but the table next for us were full of praises on the flavors. The vibe at this place is so good. I am honestly beyond disgusted. I've ordered take out here a few times, my friends have, we all live in the neighborhood. Tonight my daughter wanted spaghetti and meatballs so of course north was out first choice. We ordered eggplant parm, a pizza and another pasta dish. Let's start with the positives, the pizza is amazing as usual. The chicken pasta with pine nuts we beyond flavorful and the pasta was cooked perfectly. So let's get this straight. This isn't a review on north the restaurant it's self, menu or curation. It is of the employees, there is no way im sure the investors, managers, owner or any corporate part would think this is acceptable they would be upset enough and worried that the health department would close them down. The simple poor quality of the Togo and dull mindedness of the employees. When you package a Togo order you would think the BOH would package and check their ticket then when it's brought up to FOH they would check the items and ticket again. As for the parm egg plant it is a little humorous that the kitchen would even think the quality and amount would be okay to serve in house so why throw it in a box and send it off . The worst part and most disgusting part of this order is the kids meal of spaghetti and meatballs. When I got the order I checked the bag and realized that the kids meal was missing meat balls. I called and they offered me to come back in and the kitchen would make it again. I came in got the box and went home, when I opened it I can't even understand why someone would package this. One meatball was frozen and one meatball was hot with sauce on it and a bite taken out..... I get people have bad days I get their busy but when I'm paying almost $100 you give me someone's left over food?! Get your house in order North, with this disgusting plague of inflation do you really think people are going to get $22 plates of pasta when your kitchen is putting left over food in the take out. I don't even want to know what happens in your kitchen. I love fox concepts but since Cheesecake Factory took over, my love for dough bird has been ruined and now my love for north. Stopped in for Sunday brunch when I was visiting Arizona. I have only been to another location in Vegas for dinner, so I was looking forward to trying items off of their brunch menu. We ordered an Aperol Spritz and a sparkling Rose sangria for our drinks. Both of them were good and started Sunday brunch off right. We decided to split a few dishes so we could try a few things. We shared the zucca chips, the prosciutto bruschetta, and breakfast carbonara. Even though the zucca chips are battered and fried, they're light and crispy and super addicting. I couldn't stop eating them. The prosciutto bruschetta was sliced into a few long pieces so they were easy to share. This dish was also really good. The breakfast carbonara was tasty and had crispy chunks of bacon in it. It was rich because it's a carbonara but was really delicious. The ambiance is relaxed and laid back. Service is great and attentive. They have indoor seating and an outdoor patio which would be great to sit on when the weather is nice and cooler. read more

Came to this location at around 1:30pm for a party of 2. We were quickly seated as the restaurant was empty. We sat down and our "server" took our order 10-15 minutes later. After receiving our food that was quite delicious, our server was nowhere to be seen. We had to pull a different server aside to get some ranch for our table. We then had a different server come up to us to refill our waters once we were finished eating. Not once did they check on us during our visit. The food was great but the service was not good. There's been a trend it seems in the AZ and that is the food is a bit more on the bland side. First off and a heads up, parking is only valet. Next we made reservations since this place did seem like a more respectable venue and possibly crowded. We had came in just a little early and they were able to seat us right away since they did have a lot of open tables...we made our way passed those open tables and they ended up seating us in the far back corner. No biggie, we were here for the food and we wanted to try this place out. I ended up ordering a sangria to start and my friend ordered a drink as well. Long story short they forgot my drink. Again, no biggie, they were able to bring the sangria afterwards. The sangria was okay but sadly you can tell it wasn't one that they pre-make overnight. It was wine poured in a glass of ice with fruit added in. The only reason I knew that was because it tasted like I was drinking wine straight up. On to the food, I had ordered the bolognese (pictured) and other dishes as well like the calamari - also heads up, it's calamari with arugula salad so don't be surprised if there is less calamari. The bolognese was the "meatiest" pasta dish they had and it was tasty but still a little bland. This is one italian restaurant where they will not ask how much cheese you'd like on your dish because mine came up served with minimal grated cheese and wished they could give me more because again, it was a bit bland. The calamari was okay too but had better elsewhere. OH, if there is one dish I will have to give 5/5 stars that would be the garlic cheese bread! Okay now that was bomb; good amount of garlic and the flavors on it. Just wow and this was not bland at all! Now cherry on the top part of our experience was us leaving. We were not a loud table and pretty much kept to ourselves but as we paid for our meal and got up to leave, other guests and some of the staff looked at all of my party and I weirdly. Not mad-dogging us but more of a mix of disgust and the what-are-you-doing-here kind of look. We were lucky to get in during Spring break. The food is still excellent but you definitely need to plan ahead with the reservations or plan to wait if you walk up. The mandatory valet parking really threw us for a loop! We got there around 2 on a Saturday and the parking lot was pretty much empty, but we still had to get out and hand the keys to the guy (a teenager) so he could park it for us. We ordered the cacio e pepe and the margherita pizzas. Both were very good. The white sauce on the cacio e pepe pizza was to die for! The end crust was soft and fluffy and buttered nicely. My only hiccup was the cheese on the margherita pizza came off in entire chunks so once you bit into one end of the slice, you were bound to slurp up ALL the cheese on the slice. It was also tough to tear. It was still tasty though - just a tad toooo oily. But it's Italian so. The service could've been a little quicker considering how dead it was, but at least the food arrived still hot. Also, all the reviews mentioning the flies were CORRECT! They were everywhere and swatting at flies every few seconds gets old REAL QUICK. Had to tip the valet guy even though we were two feet away from our car. Unnecessary if you ask me. They should have certain hours of the day where they switch it to regular parking because it's honestly more of a hassle when the parking lot has almost no cars in it. read more
