I have purchased and/or leased from a number of dealers in the past and have to give a 5 star review to the team (and especially Anthony our sales representative) at North Point Volvo in regards to our recent transaction on our new XC90. First of all, we were caught in the perfect storm... We were in the middle of a house refinance when my wife's SUV was totaled in an accident. So a lot to deal with. She had to get a new vehicle. We went out to the Volvo website and decided that we wanted to look at two models in specific. I called ahead and Anthony had both vehicles waiting for us to test drive when we arrived. My wife liked them both, but then spotted a particular XC90 that she immediately fell in love with. We worked with Anthony and made the deal that worked for us. That said, we still had to wait on the house refinance closing (a week in the future) and the paperwork from our insurance company showing that my wife's SUV was totaled and paid off. All of that took a bit longer than we anticipated. North Point Volvo worked with us, put the XC90 away so it wouldn't be taken out on test drives, etc., and we worked on the paperwork as we could. In the meantime, the house closed and the insurance company came up with the required paperwork for Volvo. We quickly went through the credit process and in less than two hours, the Finance team at the dealership had all the papers ready for us to sign. That is what I call working with a dealer and sales rep. that not just want to sell you a car, but partner with you and work with you through the process. They did a great job and without question I would recommend them to anyone! And, by-the-way, even though the sale was Anthony's... all the salespeople at the dealership when we were there came over and said "hello" and conversed with us. Everyone from the Receptionist to the Finance Dept. to the salespeople have been terrific. That is what the car buying experience should be like. We are very pleased to say the least. read more

After spending $4000 at one time with the dealer and one of the repairs being the install of a new timing belt kit just 5 months later a drive belt snaps meaning the dealer should have recommended I replace that but they didn't. They towed the vehicle to their shop from Florida where it broke down and determined that the drive belt is what caused the problem due to age because nothing hit the underbelly of the vehicle. Every other Volvo dealer in the Georgia area that I've called and spoken with says it was the responsibility of the shop to advise it be replaced since the entire repair could be undune by that single belt snapping (which is what happened rendering the car non drivable and destroying the engine) . A local Volvo dealer explained to me that when a mechanic does a tear down that far to install a timing belt kit the labor is so expensive that you'd want to knock out any old drive belt replacements at that time instead of paying for full labor tear down again for future belt replacements. This manner of handling my business was very poor customer service in my opinion and I am requesting North Point Volvo making this right by fully repairing my vehicle to the safe and we'll driving car it was before it broke since the car breaking down was a direct result of them not advising that the work out belt be replaced. I want to be able to fully trust and rely on a dealerships honesty when I bring my car to them because my eyes aren't on the inside of my vehicle. Only theirs are. read more

I've been taking my 99 S70 to North Point Volvo for almost 20 years now. As many people know, Volvos can be extremely finicky electronically. So, I appreciate that they listen to my car's symptoms and our preliminary diagnosis when we bring it in. Recently, N Point mechanics diagnosed a failing knock sensor which was causing a constellation of problems on the car. Now that it is back in my hands, the car runs like it did when I bought it 23 years ago - I am SO very pleased! Special thanks to the mechanics like Brent who are still willing to work on a car that old. :)) Adam in the service department has always been flexible and friendly. And the service reps through the years have helped on numerous appointments for my S70 including but not limited to: Garrett, Marcus and Joseph. My husband and I visited North Point Volvo on August 15. We walked around outside, looking at the vehicles for a short time. Anthony Jones came out, introduced himself and asked how he could help us. He has been with North Point Volvo for 16 years and has a tremendous knowledge of Volvos starting with the safety features continuing through any of the packages that are available. We test drove a new XC 90 and went back to the dealership. I told him what I thought I wanted. He showed us another vehicle and we test drove it also. We purchased a certified preowned 2016 XC 90 T6 on August 18. Anthony gave me an hour and half tutorial. I drove it home and we spent the weekend learning. I went back the next week and Anthony again spent time with me. I spoke with Drew and Richard too. I had already stopped at 5 other dealers nearby, and I was sick and tired of getting the runaround. I was about to give up, but I stopped by North Point Volvo on my way home and met Anthony. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and BEST OF ALL, HE LISTENED TO ME!!! I wanted a SAFE and RELIABLE car for my daughter, and led me right to it. We just purchased our first Volvo- an XC90! We truly love the car and had such a great experience buying it! We worked with Anthony Jones and he is Class Act who truly knows his cars! We just purchased a Volvo XC40 from North Point Volvo with Owen Jones as the salesperson. Owen did an excellent job of explaining the features of the vehicle and all of the options available. He worked with us through the various vehicles available and when we decided on one, he worked with us on the pricing financing available. Bought my first Volvo at North Point Volvo and it was awesome. I found the C70 T5 that I was interested in online. Anthony Jones worked with my husband to allow him to bring the car to me for a test drive since the dealership is 1.5 - 2 hours away from our home. I told Mr. Joseph Charlesworth in the service department that I was making a long distance trip with my wife in a few days and that I had a minor tire problem. The shop was already running tight with appointments but given the importance of having a car inspected for its roadworthiness he squeezed in an appointment for a check-up. The service department balanced my tires, topped off the fluids and inspected all the other vital components. Exceptional service every time! There's not much more you could as for from Zac Stettner and Marcus Wise. I've taken my car in there a couple of times for routine maintenance and miscellaneous issues and have been taken care of promptly and with excellent customer service. Not only is the Service Department reasonably priced relative to other dealerships it is also competitive with independent mechanics. But the real draw here is the people. I would pay more to get service on my car if these guys are part of the service team simply because they make the whole process very easy! You absolutely cannot ask for more! read more

This review is long overdue. I leased a New 2020 S60 back before the 1st of the year. I've been leasing vehicles every 3 yrs for the last 40 yrs., and I have to say this was by far the best experience I have ever had. My salesperson was not only extremely personable he was extremely knowledgeable. The finance process was an absolute breeze, I never felt chained to the chair having a bunch of extras shoved down my throat.
