I've been here a few times now and my favorite thing is the jamaica. They make it in house and it's some of the best I've had. I enjoy the cafe de olla as well. If you get the chilequiles or enchiladas, get the green sauce instead of red. It's much better (in my opinion). I've tried both on one dish before and felt like the red ruined the meal completely so now I just stick with green. Other than those few pointers, the food and drinks have been great. It's a good brunch spot.

As a Yelp Elite, I usually try to keep an open mind and judge a place based on my own experience rather than hype -- but I'll be honest, I came in with pretty high expectations after seeing how highly recommended this spot is on Yelp. Unfortunately, after dining here, I walked away feeling a bit underwhelmed. Let me start with the positives. The service was genuinely nice and friendly. Staff were welcoming, polite, and attentive, and that definitely counts for something. You can tell they care about customer interaction, and that's appreciated. That said, the food came out extremely fast -- almost suspiciously fast -- and that's where things started to fall apart. Several items arrived lukewarm, which immediately raised questions about freshness and preparation. When dishes come out that quickly and aren't hot, it gives the impression that food may be sitting or pre-prepared rather than cooked to order. Temperature matters, especially for dishes that rely on warmth to bring flavors together, and unfortunately it took away from the overall experience. Flavor-wise, nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. Everything tasted safe and familiar, not elevated or memorable. Given the strong Yelp recommendations, I was expecting more depth, brighter flavors, and better execution. Instead, the food felt average -- fine, but not something I'd go out of my way for again. Another factor worth mentioning is the exterior of the establishment. First impressions matter, and the outside is a bit rough around the edges. It doesn't reflect the experience or quality that's being marketed online, and it sets expectations lower before you even walk in. A cleaner, more inviting exterior would go a long way. Overall, this place isn't bad -- it's solid, and the friendly service helps -- but it didn't live up to the hype for me. I'm glad I tried it, but based on my visit, I wouldn't consider it one of the stronger options in the area. With hotter food, more consistency, and a bit more attention to execution and presentation, this place has potential to improve.

Friendly staff! Delicious cafe de olla that comes hot or iced, amazing! No need to add or make any changes, the recipe is perfect. Countless baked goods to choose from. They have a variety of food choices to sit down and enjoy. They had the World Cup game playing during our visit.

Loving this small family business Located on the 10 freeway city of banning !! I ordered the tamale plate which came with tamale of your choice with the Chile Verde sauce on top rice and beans. O Boy was it deliciously flavorful. I also enjoyed a cup of café de Olla, which is always made fresh daily just like my grandma used to make. Posole Menudo and Albondigas are several soup dishes that are offered, I would make sure to call ahead and see which soups are available. Big shout out to Maria for being sweet enough to deliver to me. Also they are starting to open for dinner on some days so be to check them out!

Amazing place! Great food and exceptional service. The cafe de olla was amazing and paired well with the freshly baked concha. The food was fresh and delicious. Edith was an excellent host, very attentive and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Definitely a must try, great time and ambiance here!!!

We had a good brunch at Nosotros Cafe. The food overall was really good, and the egg, bacon and sausage burrito was definitely the highlight. The chilaquiles were tasty, though not particularly memorable. What I really loved was the menu itself lots of traditional Mexican breakfast options which I loved. One downside was the lack of kids menu choices. We had to order a full French toast meal for a child, which was over $17 a bit steep. For a small burrito, a chilaquiles plate, a French toast meal, a latte and 2 orange juices it was a bit over $75. Inside the location is clean and they play good music.

After running a few errands in the morning, we suddenly had a craving for tamales after passing a woman selling them on the corner. That immediately made us think of Edyth and Nosotros Café. We had never tried their tamales before, but I'm so glad we did--they did not disappoint! We ordered the half dozen tamales with two each of the chicken, pork, and cheese & jalapeño, with verde salsa and salsa macha. The tamales were HUGE--super tasty and very filling. We also ordered the Cookie Butter Latte with oat milk, and honestly, it was one of the best lattes I've had in a long time. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and Edyth and Maria were incredibly attentive, making sure our visit was a great one from start to finish. We can't wait to return soon!

The service was so welcoming, and the café de olla and concha were both delicious! My sister and I needed a place to work and Edith was very kind and told us that this was the place and to get comfortable!

I got the Chilaquiles breakfast, it was so delicious and the service was great. The girls were very sweet. As soon as you walk in, the vibe is very homey and cozy and the food matches the vibe. The latte was also delicious, very smooth and not too sweet but not too bitter or strong either

Tamale breakfast - - the beans are homemade cause they taste just like my nana's. And the tamal has a little kick, but is mostly very flavorful. And I was also immediately offered Cafe de Olla when I sat down, so I immediately said yes and it is delicious. Plenty of cinnamon and not too sweet. The staff is also very warm and personable, saw I had a laptop bag and offered me the wifi password, will come again.

We are new to this area, a lot of folks were raving about this place. It was a huge disappointment to me, not sure if it was an off day or what. We sampled 6 tamales. Chicken ones were good. Pork, pineapple, strawberry and cheese were not it. For $40 a dozen I expected them to be amazing. I had an apple cream coffee(forgot the exact name) but that was really good. We also got the chilaquiles. Not a good balance of spice, bottom was super soggy, the potatoes seemed raw. read more

We had our mothers day celebration at Nosotros Cafe. The service was perfect. The food was so delicious. Each dish was made to perfection. The food was made fresh. My family enjoyed our day here at Nosotros. My favorite was the Caramel Latte made with love. Delish you gotta try one. This was my 3rd visit to Nosotros Cafe and I was very disappointed. We came in with a party of 8 for breakfast, first a few orders were wrong, plus they brought out one plate at a time so as we all waited for our meals the food they did bring out was cold, we all ate separately. and the coffee was not steaming hot, they also charged me for refills of coffee on this visit , when previous times I've came they didnt. I don't know if I'll return with a large party. read more

The Conchas are not as tasty as I am accustomed to. The Menudo was not as tasty as I am accustomed to, the tripe had a taste or consistency that I am not use to. The Menudo portion was large. I will say that the Waitress and Staff are very friendly read more

Looking for a breakfast burrito spot out this way and kept seeing good things being posted about this cafe. They definitely lived up to the hype for me :) When we stepped inside, it didn't feel like we were in Banning anymore lol super cute and clean, relaxing mom and pops vibe. We called our breakfast order for pick up, but maybe next time we'll dine there! Right when entering, the lady behind the counter who greeted us was super nice, dressed adorable, very welcoming. What we ordered- sausage/bacon breakfast burrito, skinny omelette and bread pudding. All were very, very tasty. Of course not as cheap as making our own food at home lol but, if we're gonna order out- definitely going back to Nosotros! Only positive reviews for this little cafe! read more

I like to support my local small family restaurants, but I am very disappointed in my time and money spent here at this restaurant. While eating our food my husband pulled out a long red hair from his menudo. He was brought another one but the mood was totally broken after that. The right thing to do would have been to comp the menudo from the bill but it was not. I understand that accidents happen but to not make up for those accidents is what is dissatisfying. The prices are very high and the service was subpar. read more

First time here and its was a fabulous experience. A hidden gem! Food was delicious huevo rancheros and chilaquiles verde we added birria on top and it was tender and flavorful. The only recommendation the cook would be to add some Mexican heat to the spicy dishes, yummy. Extremely friendly service we definitely felt welcome and attended our whole visit. I appreciated the clean and fresh smelling restrooms as well. We will be recommending this place to friends and family and coming back for another visit soon to try their other dishes on the menu. On Saturday, 10-12-24, I purchased several small and regular sized conchas, pork tamales and a loaf of the Sweet Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. Even though it was 1:00 pm the conchas were still fresh and it was evident they were baked that morning. It is really hard to find fresh "pan dulce" in the Banning/Beaumont area. I know everyone has their idea of the perfect tamale but I really like their tamales. I do not eat spicy foods and it is a challenge to find flavorful yet not spicy tamales. They are $40 a dozen but here in the USA they are now between $30 to $40 for a dozen pretty much everywhere! I understand the cost due to the cost of ingredients and the labor in preparation. I recommend their pork tamales for sure! As I type this, I am enjoying the sweet pumpkin chocolate chip loaf! It is delicious! I will be buying this again. If you are looking for fresh pan dulce and delicious loaves of breads then please go to Nosotros Cafe and buy it! read more

Stopped on a whim and will be back! The food was amazing! The birria special, both the plate and the chilaquiles were delicious. The green sauce has a kick, but the perfect amount! So glad we found this place! The staff are really friendly and helpful, and their recommendations are on point. The food is sooooo good. Hot, flavorful, healthy but not excessive portions. Do yourself a favor and have the café de olla, it's amazing. The digital jukebox is a fun touch, but the music isn't so loud you can't hear conversations (too-loud music is a surprisingly common failure, but not here). We will definitely be back -- not least because they have tamales to go. 10/10, no notes. read more

Best tasting espresso and little coffee bar located in the restaurant is the real deal! This place is super cute and the staff is the absolute sweetest. Will be back for more iced coffee and fruit cake!! I was surprised at the amazinggg quality of the espresso it's not not lame hole in the wall coffee shop at all. We went for breakfast and ordered a veggie omelette which was delicious and came with hash browns. We also ordered a pork tamale, it was one of the best tamales I have ever eaten. It was super moist, plenty of meat and was really big. My daughter took a chili/cheese to go and also it was huge. Will definitely be going back to try some other items! read more

Service was good, staff is very attentive and friendly. I had the huevos rancheros & my son had pancakes combo. Food was tasty and portions were good. Will need to come back and try the chilaquiles which are NOT on the menu but prepared upon request. The breakfast potatoes were tasty. Had regular coffee which was also good. We found this gem coming home from Palm Desert,Ca. Looking for Pan Dulce. We quickly exited the 10 freeway and ran in before they closed. Very nicely decorated. We asked to try the concha's and they were soft and flavorful. When we paid we meet Maria who offered Cafe de Olla!! Delicious and tamales. We ordered a dozen assorted and they were tasty, full of flavor and packed with meat, cheese and chiles. We will define coming back!! Everyone need to come out and try Nosotros Cafe!! read more

Stopped by Nosotros Café this morning with my daughter for tamales, and what a wonderful experience! We've attended business functions here before but had never visited as restaurant patrons - and we're so glad we finally did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile by Edyth, and Maria graciously took our order and made us feel immediately welcome. We ordered two of each tamale--chicken, jalapeño & cheese, and pork--along with cookie butter lattes . The tamales were HUGE and absolutely delicious . We fully intended to take some home, but they were so good we couldn't put our forks down and ended up finishing every last bite. The cookie butter lattes were flavorful and the perfect complement to the meal . To top it off, Maria brought out a homemade salsa macha that paired beautifully with the tamales - such a thoughtful and tasty touch. Edyth even took time to chat with us, making us feel less like customers and more like welcomed guests . That kind of personal warmth is rare and truly appreciated. First the staff welcomes you to the Nosotros Café and there is a genuine smile behind the greeting. Multiple staff members check on you while you are dining and very fast with your request. So friendly. The café de la olla has a perfect sweetness. My son had a very affordable kids pancake combo and the portion was beyond kid size. They were fluffy and tasted great without syrup. My daughter had the Concha French toast which she was expecting to be dry however she was fooled as they were moist not overly sweet and tasted like heaven. My chiliquiles Verde was spicy, not hot, espiiicy...which didn't affect the great taste at all as I devoured them. Last but not least, the potatoes are thinly cut and seasoned better than any home fries ive ever tasted. This place is soooo amazing! Everything made fresh daily and you can taste it. We have had the pork and chicken tamales and they're great, and big and good amount of meat to masa ratio. Ive also had the menudo and posole and they taste very delicious homemade close to how my granny made them and the give u all the fixins to make it to your taste. The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was amazing. I ordered the nosotros torta with carne asada and the size of it was definitely not what I expected! My bf got the red chilaquiles and they were perfectly sauced and crispy! Not too spicy either. The serving sizes were definitely worth the price. I would have completely missed that this little gem of a hug and deliciousness was in the Harbor Freight/Cardenas shopping center had I not seen a post on Nextdoor. I knew I wanted to go and had the chance when my best friend was in town and wanted something breakfast like.
