It was insanely moist and chocolatey without being overly decadent. The cream cheese frosting was also spot on as it wasn't too sweet. Nothing Bundt Cake is a dainty cake shop that will change your "sweet" life forever. I came here to pick up a birthday cake and the staff was super friendly. They gave me another set of balloons after mine graciously flew up into the sky as I walked out. Thank you for that! First off, I was never a big fan of Red Velvet because it tasted like dyed cake and had no special taste to me, but MY GOODNESS! Their red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting was ridiculously made to perfection. The cake and frosting was not too sweet, smooth texture, and great taste! I ate it for days (oops) without getting tired of it. Regrets? None! I also had the small-sized Marble Cake and it was delicious. All components within the cake complemented each other and made every bite just as satisfying. I will definitely come back here for all future cake orderings. :) read more

These treats are so moist and so delicious. The cake is so soft and the frosting is thick and creamy. They had a booth up at a SXSW event and I kept on going back for samples before I started feeling bad and purchased a personal sized one. The chocolate and red velvet have chocolate chips in the cake, which are really great touch. The lemon is not too lemony - just right. All the icings appear to be cream cheese, which I LOVE. The icing will melt a little if left in room temperature for about a day, but they taste just as good if not better the next day. The personal size ones can definitely be split in two. I avoid franchises, but this place is just as yummy as a homemade kitchen. Unlike other bakeries in Austin the cakes here are consistent - always soft, moist, decadent and AMAZING. I tried the lemon bundt cake today and...well, it was just ok. Definitely not a dessert I will remember, and not worth coming back for. The cake was alright in texture and nicely moist, but too sweet for my taste and without anything special that made it stand out. I think the frosting was supposed to be buttercream, but really, it just tasted like sugar to me-- I've had way better frosting before. That being said, everyone with me really liked the cake so I'd say it's worth trying out once to see if you're a fan. read more

I tried the chocolate bundt cake, and found it so bad I couldn't finish it. And for me, that is saying a lot. First, they had vanilla icing on a chocolate cake, which is a travesty. My wife was craving some cupcake since we tried the small one at my brothers house few weeks ago. So we stopped by and they only sell the small one by the dozen , so we got 3 from the big ones , one lemon , one chocolate and one red velvet. Our fav was the lemon , but overall tasted ok. Never underestimate the power of free samples and a coupon for more free food. Nothing Bundt Cakes stopped by my office about a month ago and left two free bundt cakes and a stack of coupons for free bundtlets (personal-sized bundt cakes) in our break room. The two samples they left were divine. Their lemon bundt cake was bright, light, and fluffy and their chocolate chocolate chip was rich and creamy. Suddenly I'm running back to my desk and adding the opening day of this place to my Outlook calendar. Fast forward a month to today, and a group of four of us descended on the new store like buzzards on roadkill. They had even more free samples in the store, this time of a red velvet bundt cake and white chocolate covered popcorn. The red velvet samples were really great so I got one of those in bundtlet form. The ladies working the counter were really nice. The storefront is small but the floor space is used wisely, displaying a variety of items without looking cluttered. After exchanging our coupons for cake, we all headed back to our office and started chowing down on our free cakes in the break room. They were all delicious and bigger than I had expected them to be, easily enough for two people. My red velvet bundtlet was not as moist and fluffy as the smaller free samples had been. Red velvet is notoriously hard to perfect, so I should have known better and gone with something more reliable. I also wish they'd had bundtlets on hand with the drizzled frosting instead of the signature, as the signature has WAAAY too much frosting for my tastes. I had to scrape some off so it didn't overwhelm the flavor of the cake. Otherwise it was totally worth the trip for free cake. I was impressed enough that I will probably be back to actually purchase something with real money. read more

I was sooooo excited to learn that Nothing Bundt Cakes is now in Austin! I tried them in Dallas before the location here opened. I thought I was a cupcake person until I tasted these decadent little bites of heaven, but now I have been convinced otherwise. The red velvet is my absolute favorite, although I have also tried the chocolate and lemon. I'm actually not a lemon dessert fan usually, but they had lemon samples out at the store that day, and it was surprisingly good. The store is really cute and the staff were all very friendly. The bundt cakes are so delicious. Very soft and not what you would expect from an average bundt cake you'd buy from a grocery store. I have dreams about these cakes! A little pricey (about $4.50 to $5.00 for a bundt cake) but overall very delicious and come in delicious flavors. My personal favorite is the cranberry white chocolate bundt cake. read more

The lemon cake was moist with the perfect amount of citrus, and the cream cheese icing was amazing, not too sweet (I don't usually like icing at all). I would definitely recommend this place for any occasion since they have a variety of sizes. My originally chosen establishment didn't work because they wanted a $250 minimum order; another didn't deliver; another I didn't give enough lead time. I did an internet search and discovered Nothing Bundt Cakes. The reviews were positive so I called. Ahhhh. My Son had his cake in less than 2 hours and the Store near Bee Caves was already popping with orders. My Son loved the chocolate, chocolate chip cake. I have ordered Bundtinies from this location several times. The quality of their product is very high and everyone enjoys the taste of the product. Recently, I ordered two dozen Bundtinies as well as a balloon bouquet for my 6 yr old daughter's birthday. I wrote in the comment section that it was HER 6th birthday and mdae a special request to have them make one with no icing. The order was correct at pick-up. When I arrived, I asked if it would be possible for them to simply inflate a special Frozen Balloon that I have purchased elsewhere. I even offered to pay for their helium used to blow up one balloon. I was told that they must ask their manager..they did and she said NO. Now mind you, I was a customer, I purchased balloons as well as two dozen Bundtinis, but to no avail. Their answer was simply No. When they brought out my daughter's balloon bouquet, they colors were orange and yellow. I asked if they knew that the balloons were for a girl and thus why not pink or purple, they said that they did not know it was for a girl. I asked if they read and complied with the written instructions for a special Bundtini for SOPHIA? They said yes..thus they knew it was for a girl. Simply put, they were not friendly or welcoming nor do they seem to cater to any sense of customer service. I was disappointed with the overall attitude here and now will re-think my dessert orders in the future. read more
