I've been here on several occasions and the one thing that is always consistent is how good the cakes are!! The inside has a huge selection of flavors, different cake decorations, and there is always a seasonal flavor. I had a really good pickup experience. I went to pick up my goddaughter's first birthday cake from this location. The cake was a great sized cake and DELICIOUS!! The staff were super kind. I had little accessories cake topper and they offered to place them in the cake for me before they put the plastic on. That was kind. It was a seamless process. They have parking right in the front. The person who helped me was nice, but I do wish he told me that there were options to decorate the cake. Loved my experience ordering from here! I placed my order online through their website, I called the next day and couldn't get through but they called me back the next day to follow up. They explained their process now. You simply show up the day you are going to pick up the order curbside, you text the number on the window and they bring out your order to the curbside table for pickup. It's a seamless process. I have had this place bookmarked for awhile and never made it around to get into the store until I went to a dinner party and a guest brought one to share. We had the double chocolate cake and it was delicious! It was super moist and stayed well leftover in the fridge a few days later. Since I already tried the chocolate and knew it was good, I went with the white chocolate raspberry and the carrot cake. Both were super moist and the frosting was fresh and paired well with both flavors. I will admit I was not a fan of the carrot cake on the sheer fact that it didn't taste anything like a carrot cake, was moist yes, but resembles more of a spice cake than a carrot cake and lacked any flavor of carrot. Probably wouldn't go for this flavor in the future. The white chocolate raspberry was very good. The raspberry is more of a jelly flavoring than a fresh raspberry, but still good. It was good, but definitely a commercial bakery option, lacking the fresh fruit or carrots made that apparent. I think it is a fun new take on a traditional cake and make for a nice addition to a special occasion with all the cake topper options they provide. Sooooooo I am not sure what kind of crack is being put in these cakes but it makes no sense how good they are! I am not sweets person and I certainly do not cake (especially store bought cake) but this right here!! I was first introduced these to little pillows of heaven back at the end February when my supervisor brought me a classic vanilla bundtlet. Instantly when she gave it to me, I kind of turned my nose up but willed myself to try it for the sake of not insulting her. One bite and my life was changed forever. Just recently (like saturday recently) I went and tried the lemon. OMG!!! Better than the vanilla one; WAY BETTER! Initially I was a little bothered that they were in a refrigerated case. I mean I understand why because of the buttercream icing but I still don't like it. One of the main reasons why I don't like cake especially store bought cake is because often times the cake is made the day before and then refrigerated and I hate that dry, refrigerated taste. But again I don't know what kind of crack they are putting in these cakes but once they're room temperature it is still just as moist. I went back again this Monday and got the classic vanilla one. I figured I would alternate between the two when I go. However, the vanilla just wasn't doing it for me anymore once I tasted the lemon one. I mean even the buttercream had lemon in it! The only negative thing I have to say is that I am not a icing person and would really love to be able to get a bundtlet without the icing. Don't know it's allowed but the good thing about the cake being refrigerated is that buttercream is stiff and easy to scrape off. They put a ton right down the middle of the hole.
