Super cool little spot in Santa Fe! Beers were all cold and readily available, can't ask for more than that! The bartenders were super friendly and had a ton of knowledge about the beers to back it up. Pro tip: the old fashioned, even though it's premixed, was insanely good. The wagyu beef hamburgers are excellent! I wasn't exactly sure what a 'German sauce' would taste like, but it was great. The side potato chips are uninspired, but that's okay. I just wish their meno for food wasn't so limited with perhaps the option of fries, onion rings, or something more substantial. Their veggie burger is a eggplant patty. Again, sure wish an Impossible Burger was on the menu. The service here is friendly and attentive. The selection of beers is also excellent. The tables inside are all tables for 8 to 10 people. The large group seating makes to awkward for couples. read more

Ambiance is nice and I am assuming they're still getting their whole situation figured out. The servers seem more interested in their phones than guests. There are two distinct areas... one where you are allowed to eat and one where you're not (presumably for ease of cleanup) with the smallest sign distinguishing the two. I would advise against cocktails.... they're fairly weak from a tap. The food was tasty, but the servings were very small. I have hopes they'll improve with time, but currently there are better options in the immediate area. read more

This Brewery has everything! Live music, a huge selection of beer, and one of the best burgers in town. The staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere is lively with plenty of room for large groups. read more

This is a generous review as I don't think it's fair to be too critical to a brand new business that spent so much time and effort into opening a cool place, but they might have opened prematurely. The food is lackluster and they have the capacity for many taps and only have about 6 available. The portions are on the smaller side, but priced accordingly. read more

Stopped in here for a beer and maybe some bites--it was clean and inviting and comfy, so my husband and I got two beers and sat at a table with our toddler. There was a meeting happening next to us, and it became apparent quickly that it was among people who worked there. The boss (took a quick Google search to figure out it was one of the owners, Bill) was admonishing one of his employees repeatedly---it was so brutal and horrible to listen to. I kept thinking...why would someone yell like this anywhere, much less in a brewery with customers present? This man just went on and on, using this horrible tone and mean words to this employee. We were about to leave when thankfully the "meeting" ended and they dispersed--we then decided to order some food, and it was absolutely delicious! Would have been a five star visit if it wasn't for that yelling boss--doesn't make me feel great about patronizing this establishment. read more

Maybe they are too new to properly rate. The staff at the bar didn't acknowledge patrons ready to order. It was confusing as others walked up and were served right away. Several of us waited and one couple only received half their order (how hard is it to pour)? I want impressed with how he one craft brew I ordered. I've had much better. read more

i have been there six times with family and friends. 3 times upstairs and 3 times downstairs. Food is good but service is very poor. We are locals but feel like we are lucky to get any service at all. It is striking and consistent enough that you should consider going elsewhere. We have many great restaurants/bars with great food and service. Sad Nuckolls just isn't one of them. read more

I came here with my partner on a Saturday evening. It was busy but not crazy. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I have been on a search for a decent veggie burger in that neighborhood for decades and finally found one. I can't remember what my boyfriend got but he loved it. Such a positive vibe and experience. The ambiance is excellent- they have a super spacious outdoor area making it a great place to hit up with a group. The first time I went in they were out of the IPA, but all the beer pourers I've had here were very knowledgeable about what they had on offer and offered a taste if you're undecided. It's nice they offer up their neighboring brewery, Second Street's beer as they have a dog-friendly outside. read more

Seriously unimpressive. I was looking forward to a new, fun place for lunch, but I found the service dismissive at best and the food thoroughly lacking. There was plenty of staff, but they appeared uninterested in actually servicing. The food was plain, heavy on the potatoes, and oversalted. I would love to give a glowing review but I can't because their delicious margaritas are tantamount to highway robbery. We ordered the chai-maya marg, which is $12 and thought nothing of it until we witnessed the preparation and presentation: the server measured a measly amount into a glass measuring cup from the tap and poured the prepared margarita into a small juice glass of ice. The drink didn't even fill the glass. I'm sorry but this is totally unacceptable and I'm hoping this review spurs other patrons to speak out. I'm not cheap but this $12 margarita is easily consumed in 4-5 light sips. I think the proprietors should take note and not instruct their employees to measure out the margaritas to such minimal proportions. This alone is such a turnoff. You can go to any other restaurant in town and have a comparable margarita but 2-3x the size. But on a positive note-the shrimp tacos were delicious! If the margaritas weren't so chintzy-I would be a regular. Please, please don't skimp on something as commonplace as a good margarita. read more

Great location and really nice design. The outside decks are really beautiful. Good craft beer selection. This place has a lot of potential but has some kinks to work out. Tourist place, nice building but my expectations were correct for being expensive and not really worth it. $14 for a burger the size of a double cheeseburger from McDonald's and you don't even get fries, just 12 chips that could of been from one of those tiny bags at subway. Two pinche pickles and one tiny tomato. The bathrooms were kinda unusual and are not separated a between men's and ladies room kind of just one big room with individual stalls and a long sink. Place is really nice and the beer is good as well. Nice patio and customer service isn't bad. The issue is the food. It's just not that good. It's not consistent either. One day you'll order a burger and it'll be spicy. The next day you'll order the same burger and it isn't spicy at all. Just keep it simple: green chili burger, regular burger with the works (lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion), and then a house burger. read more
