Do not recommend. On around 3 separate occasions Morgan flaked on deals we had for consignment and trading in (996 Porsche 911's). A friend of mine also had tried to buy a car they were selling which they later flaked on it, I could only guess why they did, but we think its because they wanted more money (991 Porsche). I wouldn't trust this shop to consign, resell, or purchase any vehicles I am involved with. To me they are just a step above a buy here sell here car lot. In my hunt for an upgrade, I found a beautiful Porsche 991.1 GT3 that came up from Nuvo Trade. I didn't hesitate to text them to make an appointment to see the car, and they were quick and friendly to book it for the same day. My wife and I braved the traffic down from LA to look at it, and it was basically flawless, and Aaron and Morgan were both happy to show us the other awesome cars they were selling. I asked for a test drive, and because the car is there on consignment, Morgan offered to take me for a ride in the GT3. We went on a great route, and I got a very good understanding of what the car is like. And from that, I realized that this was an outstanding street legal track car, and that daily driving this was not going to be that fun. Morgan was very quick to suggest that I look into a Porsche 911 Turbo instead, as they have more creature comforts and more pleasant to drive in the city (with some track time and canyon drives on the weekends.) And it turns out, he was completely right. I got extremely lucky and found an excellent 991.1 Turbo S at a nearby dealership, which I promptly bought later that same day. So even though I didn't make a purchase with these guys, we had a great conversation, and the suggestion given to me was immensely helpful, and I'll always consider Nuvo Trade as a way to buy or sell cars. So I know Yul through a mutual friend, and he happened to be selling a car when I pulled up to my complex in newport. I remembered that I liked the idea of going car-less because I work from home and live in newport where everything is in walking distance (or Uber). So on the spur of the moment I said I wanted to sell him my car. The entire transaction took 30 mins. He helped me clean out my car, paid me cash right then, and did the paperwork in my home. We negotiated the buy price, and although he got a good deal on my Acura TL cuz it's in pristine condition and SUPER low mileage and he paid me the "good" price, he did still bump up the offer a bit when I asked. Felt MORE than fair cuz the transaction was last minute and they didn't put me through a huge grueling process. A week later I got a toll road violation. In the age of mechanization and automation, most dealerships too, have turned into car selling factories. The car buying experience as we know it fades into the past, hurried along by car sharing, cheap leases, Uber, Lyft, and the rest. Alas, there is always an exception. Nuvo is one of those exceptions. Like those turning back to vinyl records, or refuse to give up driving with three pedals, Nuvo too refuses to get swept into the plastic churn of the tides. Having purchased my 911 from him, I can attest that this was more of a personal experience than a transaction. Every step of the process as if dealing with a close friend. He's honest, transparent, and easy to work with every step of the way. I bought my 911 from him and shipped it all the way to Chicago, and this was the best car purchasing experience of my life. That's saying something for dealing across the country. As for the car, Yul surgically selects only the very best cars around. His inventory is the rarest, cream of the crop condition cars. He would never sell something he himself wouldn't drive for a lifetime. Nuvo is almost a collector exclusive destination. There are so many shady, small volume exotic dealers that think they know cars because their lot has vehicles with the right badges on them, but they come riddled with poor maintenance and ownership histories. Don't insult Nuvo by conflating it with one of these places. The owner Yul, is a true enthusiast and a collector first, followed by anything else. I had a great experience with Nuvo in the unique situation where I went in expecting to buy a car and did not buy in the end, a "car buying" experience unlike any I've ever had. Not only did Morgan and Yul put NO sales pressure on me at all, they bent over backwards to help me get the detailed pre-purchase inspection (PPI) that ultimately led to my decision not to buy. The car I was considering -- a 2004 Porsche 911 Turbo -- was a spectacular machine, but the PPI revealed previous non-stock racing customizations that introduced a bit too much risk for my personal comfort level. After spending much of the day with me and then talking through the PPI results with me very late in the evening, Morgan himself suggested the car was probably not the right one for me -- they'd have no trouble selling it and I'd be happier finding a car that better fit what I'm looking for. A very refreshing approach for a pre-owned car shop -- seeking to mate the customer to the right car even if it means no immediate sale for them. I really appreciate this approach and now have Nuvo first on my list as I continue my search for my first 911. read more

I found a vehicle online that Nuvo was selling and was a little skeptical due to the fact that this place is not your average dealership. I checked the reviews and it seemed to be a reputable business. I quickly learned this place was anything but and lacked common professionalism. i made an appointment to view one of the vehicles they had in stock. The business is kind of hard to find as they share their business with a construction company. When i arrived there was nobody there for Nuvo. The receptionists had to call someone to come in for my appointment. It was later in the evening and i was able to see the vehicle and let the gentleman know i was interested and requested a final quote so i could fund through my personal bank. This was all done Tuesday Feb 23rd. On Thurs the 25th i reached out and let them know i was interested and had everything squared away with my bank and received no reply back. Friday the 26th i spoke with Yul and was told the car was still available and i told him i had already seen the vehicle and secured funds to purchase and just wanted to do a test drive. i asked if they were available on Sunday and he said they were closed even though their hours online state they're open on Sundays. I reached out on the 27th to schedule a test drive for Monday and never heard anything from the business. Yul finally called me back on Monday and advised me that the vehicle was sold to someone else on Saturday... Communication with this business was terrible and they clearly had no intentions on selling me this vehicle. I had a completely different experience from all these other reviews... i'm not sure if its because i don't look like their usual clientele but i was extremely disappointed with my experience. read more
