OMG I'm so glad I found this place!! 1. I am from NJ, NY pizza is supreme, all other kinds are trash. This actually tastes like NY pizza. 2. Ordering online was easy, I did pickup and it only took 20 min. 3. Pizza was fresh and hot, tasted great 4. Plenty of parking out front. I didn't stay to eat in but there was some seating. No complaints! See you again soon.

This New Jersey native finally found a great slice of pizza in Nashville! NY Pie feels like a slice shop from up north, it's exactly what I've been waiting for. Plenty of options, heated up in minutes, served with no frills. I love this place.

This small pizza shop has the real deal New York pizza. Some of the best NY style pie I've had in Nashville. The cheese, hawaiian, and buffalo chicken slices were all great. I also got the chicken salad with Italian dressing, and they loaded me UP on the chicken. Got my protein in. Also, my cashier Sam was super friendly and gave me all the good recommendations.

Pizza gets 5 stars, but service gets 1 star. Everyone working here seemed miserable. I felt very unwelcome. However, the pizza was very good. Maybe we'll just get take out next time.

My husband and I both agree. It's the best pizza in town! It's loaded with yummy cheese, amazing sauce, and lots of toppings! I don't know how they do it, but I commend them immensely!

Ordered ahead of time for pick up on a Friday evening. We ended up waiting a long time in the restaurant too, because it was so packed! The pizza was good though, so well deserved busyness! Hope to be back maybe on a weekday with less of a wait time! Limited amount of indoor seating.

I only mention how to contact me because the number of people reading these reviews exceeds the number of readers for my books. That's a lot of exposure. So, it's possible someone would say, "We want that mfer!" But therein lies the problem. I misbehave while being incredibly reliable. Anyway, about that pizza.... If you look carefully at the photo, you will see the slice of pepperoni in the background. My son told me it was the best slice of pizza he has ever eaten. And that's a lot of pizza. In fact, he has taken a photo of every slice of pizza he has ever consumed and posted all of them on his 'Pizza Wall.' His theory is that pizza always puts him in a good mood, so why not always be looking at pizza. Okay, none of that is true, except for the part that he said it was the best pizza he ever had. My slice was very good but I don't know about all that. It seems to be a common theme at Five Points East though. Therefore, go for it! Our server, Annie, was excellent. And very efficient at her job. As for atmosphere, pretty cool! Small but cool. And I actually like that they don't have Italian food and stick to their speciality. Tap in below: Traveling to the south you wouldn't expect a local spot like Nashville to carry some of the best focaccia, but just the traditional garlic and balsamic will leave you impressed. Flavors so pure and a bread just crispy to the bite and soft as you expect a perfectly crafted bread like this. -Focaccia: 5/5 Texturally perfect. Crispy outer with a soft and spongy inner. Complimented extremely well with any pairing crafted in the restaurant. The focaccia with garlic and balsamic was the perfect first bite to guide your experience as a shareable item. -Ricotta di Gnocchi: 5/5 Again, texturally pleasing bite that's met with a delicious sauce that's velvety, cheesy, and rich in flavor with the herbs meeting the palate cutting away the richness. Perfectly paired -Potato focaccia: 4.5/5 One of my favorite bites that's met with a lemon zest while staying rich and creamy, the focaccia is covered and smothered with this delicious sauce that's a cream of potato and met with Parmesan and lemon, 2 flavors you wouldn't expect to pair so well but compliment each other extremely well. Giving this a reduction of .5 because the bread turns a little too mushy if you don't eat the entree quickly. Which some may like! -blondie: 5/5 Over heard the chef talking about soft serve and ice cream being offered and I had to listen in and order the dish. I'm not much of a desserts person but this was a concept executed flawlessly. Caramel thats met with berry for freshness, ice cream for richness, and sesame for a popping texture that's pleasing. All married to a golden brownie that's crispy to the bite and soft on the inside. Very well matched with each other and just a delicious bite to end the meal. I still remember every bite and can say that being from out of town, I would recommend this spot to anyone. Unique, amazing vibes in the restaurant, and just what I'd call a gem of a hole in the wall. Very well done!

Our server was less than cordial, took our order and gave us our bill, that's about it. I tried to ask about the restaurant and the focaccia but that seemed to be a huge inconvenience. As a home sourdough baker, I was quite disappointed. To top it off, St.Vito was recognized by Michelin so I expected great food and service. The pizza itself was solid. It had a great fire-roasted bottom that gave it an authentic, slightly charred flavor. My guest ordered a pineapple pizza, and I built my own -- both had strong foundations with good crust and sauce. The base of the pie is clearly well executed. That said, I did wish the toppings felt a bit fresher and offered a little more variety. While it's definitely a step up from a typical by-the-slice spot, it didn't quite feel like a "gather a big group just for this" destination either.
