The turkey with sun dried tomato panini on a croissant was so good! Perfectly flakey and soft & all ingredients tasted fresh. The cinnamon raisin pastry was very delicious. The creme brûlée was my favorite! The strawberry matcha latte was so good iced on a warm day. Almond turnover was nice. Raspberry turnover was ok, nothing special. Would definitely return! Ye Olde Molde First time visiting OSide Bakery yesterday. I bought a couple cups of their chocolate mousse to go, as a birthday dessert for my wife and me. Fast forward to dessert time - and after a few bites, which were delicious by the way, I find a big glob of green mold in the cream. Parfait! Fin! On the plus side - The counter help seemed tired and distracted... Overcharged me 2 for the price of 3, then when I asked about it, begrudgingly paid me back. No 'I'm sorry' or anything. She couldn't get me out of there fast enough. I called this morning to give feedback to the manager, who couldn't be bothered to take the call. The lucky employee who took the call, did apologize and offered me a refund with receipt, which the former employee did not provide. Checkmate. Not impressed read more

I'm a pretty big O'side bakery fan. Their breakfast burritos are one of my favorites around (I just wish the hashbrowns were cooked a little more and they offered sides like fruit!), the almond croissants are flaky and delicious, and the chai and matcha lattes are suuuuper tasty. We really love this place. The food is delicious and prices reasonable. BUT, my favorite dish is the Avo plate, which says is accompanied with hashbrowns or fruit AND a baguette. Everytime I ask, the waitstaff says it isn't included. Our family usually gets a big plate or two, and the youngest will get an egg plate. These plates always come with a baguette. Also- heads up to all of my nondairy/lactose intolerant friends- they have no nondairy options for coffee and charge you if you want a splash of almond milk. I've become a bit obsessed with this place. I come while my beau is getting a haircut. See, he doesn't eat breakfast and that's one of my favorite meals. This little nook is the cutest breakfast spot around. SKIP the greasy Pit Stop next door. The freshest, tastiest and healthiest breakfast can be found here. Plus their coffee is really great. When I first came here, it was to grab a coffee and people watch. But they were selling tiramisu and that's my weakness! It wasn't the best tiramisu I've ever had but it hit the spot and made me interested in their other pastries. Today's visit involved an almond macaron and a breakfast burrito. The almond macaron was a lot for $2! It took quite a few bites to finish it and most macarons aren't nearly as satisfying at other bakeries. The breakfast burrito had avocado, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese & hash browns. I was pleasantly surprised by the hash browns, which weren't overwhelming and perfectly portioned in the wrap. Oh and that avocado! Sigh... what a great addition! The one thing that can get crazy is the seating. It is a popular spot and if they're busy, you'll be fighting for a table. Luckily it's just been me visiting thus far. I don't think I'd have the patience to battle it out. Although their staff is quite responsive in cleaning off tables whenever someone snags one. I just tend to sit off by the couch, where a bouquet of flowers by The Fancy Penelope always graces the table. It makes me happy to see what that talented florist puts on display. A friend told me that she loved Oceanside Bakery and that I should check it out. I normally go to another nearby bakery but went here based on the recommendation. I was happy with the selection and presentation of the items but ended up being disappointed with the taste. It wasn't bad or gross or anything but I bought dessert items and they were not sweet whatsoever. I am not looking for over the top, immediately rot your teeth type of sweet but if I order dessert items I do want some sweetness. So if you don't really like sweets you will be happy but if you have a sweet-tooth and want a craving satisfied this will not do it for you. read more

We frequent this place every time we visit my parents who live fairly close by. They've always had really delicious food, good service (rarely the grumpy server but mostly younger kids working here) and delicious pastries. We love this spot for breakfast, brunch and is our go to coffee place because their coffee menu is very extensive! They have lots of syrups, different drink combos, milk alternatives like oat milk, and fun toppings like cold foam. We try to order something different every time. They enforce social distancing which is great and makes us feel safe while picking up take out or dining in. We ordered an Egg Plate with Bacon and Hashbrown, and Strawberry Nutella Crepe. Hubby and I were stuffed after splitting the food. - Reasonable price for the amount of food you get. THE BAD - I don't know if it's just us but the drinks tasted like they were diluted with water. I ordered a regular hot chocolate which I was happy at first because the price was very good for a 16oz beverage (reg) but GAHD, it was literally water and Swissmiss. - Husband ordered a reg mocha but it has the same weird diluted watery taste and has an unexplainable fake smell. He can't even put a word on how to describe it. THE WORST - Cleanliness and service. When we went in on a Wednesday at 11AM, there were only few tables that were occupied but we still couldn't find a table to sit. The place is big with lots of space, but most of them weren't cleaned. Meaning all the plates, leftover food and even table numbers are just out there sitting for who knows how long. - We sat in a table that's "fairly" clean (only 1 plate from a previous customer and some crumbs on the table). We thought our server would clean it once they see that we're sitting on a dirty table. Lo and behold, she arrived and just gave our food and would've literally left if I didn't ask her if she could please take out the dirty plate that's obviously not ours . With that, she responded with "Oh! yea." She didn't even bothered to pretend wiping the table to get rid of the crumbs. She just took the plate and left. I wonder when was the last time our table has been wiped off I'm really sad to give this place such a low rating because I can tell the locals love it here and I love supporting locals! This is a fantastic place for breakfast pastries and food. I admit I haven't tried the lunch menu but their breakfast options are great! Their food is very good and affordable for the quality you get! Their iced coffee is amazing and a great price, I go here a lot just for that. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 star is for a bit of customer service. It's not like it's bad, I haven't had a terrible experience, but I come often enough that I have had some sub par experiences. Sometimes you can pick up on attitude or general lack of effort. But it's really by employee to employee. Again nothing that keeps me from coming here but I now know who I can expect the best service from. read more
