I used to come here for lunch often. Today, I met my husband there - and the service was less than par. My husband arrived before me, and sat in a booth. He said that he was approached by a staff member regarding how many were in his party. My husband replied that he was waiting for me, and that I should arrive shortly. He was approached again about my arrival time (11:30, and I arrived at 11:37) and was told the staff person needed to speak with his manager. There were 6 other patrons at that time, and was never very busy during our lunch. We did not feel welcome. We've been coming to this location for 3 years and will not return. read more

Love the sushi and staff always friendly and helpful. The problem is that on our last visit, a Saturday night at 6pm, there was literally only one plate on the belt. You can't be a belt sushi restaurant with only one plate on the belt. read more

One of the last conveyor belt sushi places I've seen so it was fun for lunch! There's a pretty good variety on the belt and anything you dont see, you can order directly for the same price so no downside. Rolls are fairly basic but they are generous with Sake and Tuna, which again isnt always true at conveyor belt places. Staff is friendly as well read more

I have been leery about sushi places in the Happy Valley / Clackamas / 82nd Avenue area because of iffy quality and the monotony that is Sushi Land at the Clackamas Promenade. Heard that everything here was a $1.50 to $1.85 so I gave it a shot. Helps that it's right next to a Natural Grocers. Very clean on the inside and we were seated right away. There was a pretty good selection on a Saturday evening around 5pm including my favorite Americanized concoctions, the Vegas Roll and the Dynamite Roll. They were excellent and fresh and I was very pleased to find this within ten minutes of my house. The portions may not have been as big as Sushi Hana, but being $.35 cheaper, it doesn't really matter. I will definitely be back! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the service here. Usually, when I go to sushi bars, the servers aren't very attentive. That wasn't the case here though. They checked on us multiple times, gave us prompt refills for our drinks, and were super friendly. The selection on the belt didn't have too much variety at the time, but we did go in for a late dinner so that's understandable. They also have a menu with many items to choose from. The rolls we ordered were delicious.. Fresh tasting fish is always a plus in my book! I'm happy they opened a location closer to me; definitely my new go-to spot for sushi! read more

This O Sushi just opened and the grand opening will be September 1st but I have to say it's delightful. You go and it's clean it's bright everybody smiling the food is fabulous the prices you can't beat it. Ill put up pictures of the menu with the prices and belt itself. It's only minutes from our house which really makes us happy because Sushi to us is our fast food. You'll enjoy the employees they're nice friendly helpful. If you want anything different or Jeff to do is ask and they will fix it. I highly recommend this location or the one on 82nd both are outstanding Sushi belts but the new one in Happy Valley is very nice very comfortable chairs everything is perfect. read more

I've been a huge fan of the O'Sushi further down 82nd for years. It's my favorite cheap sushi place for great service, good fish, and a big value, so I was very excited that one opened closer to home. I was sad to see that they raised their prices though. I'm not sure if the prices went up at the original location too, or if it's just at the new spot, but what used to be a smokin' deal at $7.50 is now less exciting at $9.50. Still a good lunch, but I'm less inclined to stuff myself now. read more

Not impressed by the go-round choices. Everything was slathered in mayo and most of the rolls involved crab. Possibly all the rolls other than the philly involved crab, it was hard to tell under the coating of mayo. The sushi was very average tasting and seemed sort of old. There was not a lot of variety and very few new things were being put out. I was also put off by watching them fill takeout orders by pulling plates off the go-round and filling the takeout boxes with them. The people special ordering specific rolls seemed happy with their selection. Staff was friendly and helpful. We might try again on a weekend and see if the sleet is better. If you are looking for a decent affordable mid-grade sushi place, this is it. What keeps me coming back is their seared garlic salmon sushi. Yum. We love the conveyer belt, and the fact that this place gets busy, it's a good sign that they're able to rotate their inventory which means fresh fish. read more

Tis is probably my new favorite sushi spot. You can tell it's fresh. They have lots of variety in the conveyer belt but if you need to order something they make it really quick, like in minutes. Their calamari is good, I hate when other places over batter it and you get more batter than squid, and this place doesn't do that, they have the perfect amount of batter to squid. I haven't tried the soups yet, so my review is strictly on the sushi. read more

Train sushi! I really liked this place, the sushi was good and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I went during lunch time, ans while it was busy, I didn't have to wait for a seat at the bar (I was by myself). There was a good range of sushi wandering by on the belt, and you could order more from the waitresses. I didn't order any special rolls, and just opted to eat what rolls were on the train. Most of it was pretty fresh, I had a couple mishaps, one with a very soggy tempura roll and another with a fried item that had been circulating. I would come here again, probably opting to order items off the menu, rather than just eat what was on the belt. Yay sushi! read more

So this is a pretty solid conveyor belt sushi. My personal faves are the fresh roll (cucumber wrapper), creamy scallop, and dynamite roll. The quality is good, though they don't have as wide of variety running on the belt, you'll have to order it from the server. I take off a star for service... the main guy who was making sushi was efficient, but didn't smile and wasn't the nicest. The hostesses, though nice when present, would disappear for a while. The actual sushi pieces are smaller than you would get at sushi Hana, but it is a bit cheaper. Right now they are doing an all day happy hour, so plates max out at 1.50, which is the best deal around town read more
