    Szechuan chicken
    Maria C.

We ordered Szechuan chicken and Thai basil chicken. The Szechuan was better than Dragon Palace's. The Thai basic was meh. It was like they cut up 2 onions and 1/2 a pepper with the chicken. Wayyyy too much onion. I love onion, but how about some other veggies? The sauce didn't have that zing that other Thai basil sauces have. I guess I have to stick to a Thai restaurant to get that, but havnt found a good one in NK. Everything else with this place was good so I would go back to try their sushi.

    Decent gyoza

So it's been quite a while since we last tried O Sushi, and I'm happy to find that it's food quality has improved greatly! The sushi and sashimi were fresh and well-prepared as was the appetizers and sides that we ordered. Good gyoza, seaweed salad, and miso soup. It's not blow-you-away sushi, but it certainly holds its own among the other area sushi spots. I'm still not a real fan of its interior, though - I still find it rather dark, cavernous and soulless. The place needs a make-over for a warmer, more intimate space.

Best asian restaraunt in NK and EG side of RI next to Raka. Service is always friendly and prompt. Food always comes out fast and fresh. The bar area is modern and clean and so is the silverwear, glass wear which is 1 thing I always look at as it tells you alot about a restaraunt. Everything I've gotten has tasted good. General tsaio's to sweet and sour along with basil beef and chicken. Also portions are good sized and most could make 2 meals out of those plates mentioned. I recommend the generals as the breading is flaky and crunchy where most restaraunts its all batter. Drinks are flavorful and strong. My go to is the Grape Crush and dessert drink I'd recommend the chocolate covered martini.

Sushi lunch- Philadelphia roll, California roll and spicy crab roll. Not pictured- salad with delicious ginger dressing and miso soup.

We began with spring rolls (VERY good - chicken and shrimp) and sake, and the sake program deserves special mention. We selected a very enjoyable $38 bottle and noticed several other bottles at lower price points, along with a wide selection of canned sake--many around $11. Some diners may balk at paying that much for a can, but they will happily pay more for a mediocre glass of wine at half the volume. The value here is actually quite good, especially for those looking to explore sake beyond the ordinary. Our entrées--the ramen and chicken katsu--were excellent. The ramen featured a rich, deeply satisfying broth, while the chicken katsu was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender within. If you want a "hotter " ramen - the have an add on for a buck. Service was warm and attentive, reflecting the pride that often comes with a family-owned business. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, allowing the quality of the food to take center stage. Bristol is fortunate to have Sakuratani. Strong Japanese dining options can be hard to find outside larger cities, and for a restaurant only a year old, they seem to be doing many things right. We look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu--and their sake offerings. Highly recommended.

Stopped in here with some friends to try this place out since we were in the area!…read more Food: My friend got dashi tofu as an appetizer (not pictured) and it was quite an experience! Very silky, some crunch, and the dashi sauce was well balanced. We then ordered tonkotsu ramen as our entree, and let me tell you I was not disappointed. After trying numerous ramens, specifically tonkotsu, this rated 2nd under my first favorite place. The creamy, rich broth was balanced, the noodles were bouncy (maybe homemade?), and the toppings were all good! Personally I am not a fan of thick pieces of pork chashu, so just keep that in mind when ordering that meat topping. Otherwise, excellent! Service: it was pretty slow so we got in immediately. Our waiter was very nice and took care of our table promptly. Atmosphere: it's definitely darker in this place, but the atmosphere was cozy and the booths were nice! Overall for me this was a 4.7/5, I would definitely recommend going here and experiencing decent tonkotsu ramen!

The prices are on the higher side, but reasonable for what you are getting. The actual restaurant is in a small plaza next to a grocery store. We ordered the sushi/sashimi for four (for three of us.) Lots of food! The staff was pleasant though we overheard some of them talking about how they can't wait to go check out the newer sushi restaurant one city over. Not a bad thing - just a strange thing to overhear - so it made us chuckle. Only knocked a star off because it didn't feel very clean. Yesterday would have been my son Gianni's 25th birthday. We gathered 24 close family and friends to honor him at the hibachi restaurant where he last ate before his passing. This was not a casual dinner it was a deeply emotional and sentimental night. A month ago, we made a reservation and then called three separate times to confirm we would have a specific private room that held special meaning for us. Each time, we were assured the room was ours. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, yet management attempted to keep us out of the very room we had reserved. After multiple discussions with the assistant manager, they finally honored the reservation. Unfortunately, things only worsened from there. Our assigned waitress entered the room visibly angry. When we asked if the checks could be separated, she left and never returned. Our entire party had to go to the bar just to order drinks. While my husband was waiting, he overheard this waitress loudly belittling and degrading our table for several minutes to the point that the bartenders tried to get her attention to let her know he was standing there. Later, when I went to the restroom, she confronted me and sarcastically asked if "everything was finally to my liking." I calmly explained why we were there and the emotional significance of the night. She laughed, crossed her arms, and told me I had "drunk eyes." Those were not drunk eyes. Those were the eyes of a grieving mother who had just spent the day lying in her son's bed on what should have been his birthday. When I told her she should choose her words more carefully, police were called on me. This restaurant has benefited from my family's loyalty for years. I hosted a 50-person birthday party here in November that generated over $5,000 in business. My son dined here in September with a group of 21. Last night, we brought 24 guests. Many of our friends have been weekly patrons for over a decade. To be treated with such cruelty, disrespect, and hostility during such a vulnerable moment is beyond comprehension. Compassion costs nothing. Kindness costs nothing. Basic professionalism costs nothing. Last night, all three were absent
