On our way to Disney we stopped here for dinner. Staff was friendly but could use retraining. Food was delicious and would definitely visit again. Atmosphere was quiet but seemed dark inside. A little hard to see our menu.

We waited at the hostess table for a few minutes. We were greatly and seated shortly after! The dining area has a good amount of seating as well as a bar area. We already knew what we wanted. We were told that the Short Rib tends to sell out quickly so we arrived around 4pm because on Saturday and Sunday they have Brunch until 3pm! My other friend ordered the Smoked Chicken Caesar salad and the Elote Dip. The Elote Dip is served cold and although not what I expected still tasty! My friend advised that the Smoked Chicken Caesar was great ! The short rib was flavorful, tender and hot. The mashed potato's and brussel sprouts were warm and not as hot as we would have like but all good! The potatoes were thick and hearty! The fried Brussels were crispy yet tender. All the flavors complimented each other! I look forward to returning! Our server was very attentive throughout our visit!

Hubby and I have made our way to Savannah, Georgia and decided to try Oak 36. The restaurant is located in a plaza which doesn't seem uncommon in the south. It has a warehouse/urban vibe. It wasn't busy and they have a very pretty bar and was fully stocked. They offer happy hour as well and their new menu began today. Brian was our waiter and was very helpful. I most definitely tried a Cosmo which was super! We decided to try the truffle fries for an appetizer and they came out screaming hot ! The flavor was perfect. I ordered the salmon and hubby ordered a burger. Everything was hot and delicious..Well done!

Second visit is as comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable as our first, about six months ago. Last time we had brunch as pictured in the Mimosa pic. This time, lunch. We chose craft IPA and house white to accompany our Taco Pizza! Good size, great surprising flavor, and an affordable lunch! What could be better?

Made reservations here during a family weekend in Savannah. We were greeted at the door by an employee who asked if we had reservations, and before we could even give her the name it was under she already knew. We may have been the only reservation, but I immediately felt welcomed. For appetizers we had the steak bruschetta and dip duo (with palmetto cheese dip and roasted tomato + goat cheese dip), and all of it was delicious, especially the steak bruschetta. For my main I had the chicken mac and cheese (with BBQ sauce) and it was great. Perfect portion, too - I ended up taking a little home. I did try one drink, the Presbyterian, but it wasn't anything special. It had too much soda water. But everyone else at my table seemed to enjoy their drinks. Overall I had a great experience here and will definitely be back.

Tacky surcharge notice inconspicuously displayed at the hostess stand.

For many years, I loved Oak 36. It was my go-to date place. I was beside myself when they had a fire and they were closed for a little while but since reopening, they have really declined. Service is slow and inattentive. Our meals often come out at different times and now they have instituted a mandatory 2.5% service charge to offset the "higher than normal industry charges". Just raise your prices. It's tacky to add on nonsense fees that leave customers feeling nickel and dimed, especially when the recent service is lacking and bonefish grill is just a couple doors down.

Oak 36 Bar & Kitchen is such a trendy spot with a great atmosphere. The inside is modern, welcoming, and filled with calming green tones that make the space feel fresh and inviting. We ordered a chicken Sammy, a pepperoni jalapeño pizza (fair warning: the jalapeños are fire hot ), a mushroom Swiss patty melt, and a small Caesar salad. The salad was unique--made with crisp lettuce, cucumbers, baby red tomatoes, a flavorful Caesar dressing, and topped with crushed pretzels. It was very good and a fun twist on a classic. I also love that they serve Mr. Pibb--a rare find! The staff explained that it's a scratch kitchen and their meats come from organic, grass-fed cows, which makes the quality stand out. For four people, our total was $80, which felt very reasonable for the quality and experience. One small note: don't drink the water--it resembles Florida water, and not in a good way. Stick with sodas, cocktails, or anything else on their drink menu. Overall, a fantastic experience with delicious food and a cool, modern vibe. Definitely worth checking out!

Decided to stop in here on a Sunday for brunch. Outstanding service!!! Our waitress was very attentive and answered all our questions concerning food and selection. I ended up getting the BLT and let me tell you they have the best bacon I've ever had! Thick maple and brown sugar tasting. It went perfect with the lettuce tomato and sourdough bread. Caesar salad was just Caesar, but overall the ambience is very clean and professional and modern. Overall, I look forward to coming back here again and trying out some of their other items.

My family and I enjoyed this place very much! The food was amazing, the waitress was an absolute pleasure and the bistro vibes made me feel right at home. Seriously, go check this place out for brunch and enjoy a meal well worth the experience.

Oak 36's instagram perfect instagram page lured me in! The restaurant is sleek and modern. They have televisions throughout space. I don't feel like it's a space for a rowdy football game, but would be a nice spot to watch a game while eating dinner. The server was wonderful, very attentive. We ordered the brussels sprouts as a starter. They looked absolutely delicious - pan fried with some sort of sauce on them. The brussels sprouts looked like they would have a crisp to them, but they very greasy. We only ate a small bit of them. For dinner my friend ordered the chicken fried chicken. The plate looked delish but the chicken was dry. I got the Ol' Texas short rib with chimichurri new potatoes and green beans. The meat was very tender but everything was overly oiled/greasy. The flavor was good, but the pool of oil at the bottom of the dish was just a bit too much.

    Signature Old Fashioned (not smoked).

Nice place with great service. The Mediterranean Bowl (with shrimp) was amazing. The meatballs were mushier than we would have liked. Nice tangy sauce. Bread/mini-rolls were a bit hard and dry. Excellent drink selection. Out-of-tower that likes trying new places.

The greeting from our arrival to seating was prompt and very courteous. We got suggestions from the wait staff and started our experience. They have an extensive cocktail and wine list. We started with a drink called Southern Hospitality and their branded Old Fashioned. Both drinks were exceptional. We accompanied that with Grilled Octopus, which was sensational. Very hard not to make it chewy. Great char and sauce that accompanied it. For entrees, we did the Perloo, an amazing interpretation, and a swordfish. Both dishes were immaculately prepared and perfectly sized. We chose a bottle of Loss and Lehn, something we had never tried before but recommended based on what we had ordered. It matched perfectly with both dishes. We also choose items from the pick 3 menu to accompany our entrees. We finished with the best bread Pudding we have ever had nd french press coffee. The refund came through exactly as he said it would. To be clear, the food on my visit genuinely missed, and I'm not pretending otherwise. But Tyler responded publicly, owned it, and followed through completely. That kind of accountability is rare, and it's what earned the bump. Credit where it's due on the space, too -- the ambiance is genuinely great. Warm, candle-lit dining room, an open kitchen, a well-stocked bar, and a covered patio that had a real buzz to it. It's a spot that looks and feels like somewhere you want to be, which is exactly why I'd give the kitchen another shot based on how the owner runs this place. --- Original review (2 stars): Disappointing birthday dinner. Came in for my birthday and left underwhelmed. Our server Troy was the one bright spot -- professional and attentive all night. Caesar salad: Several bitter pieces of lettuce, and no black pepper offered or available. Faroe Island salmon: Overly buttery like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The shishito cream sauce was way too acidic -- tasted like uncooked wine or vinegar. Crispy rice cakes were bland and a strange pairing (rice blocks with salmon?). The baby bok choy was decent until the sauce drowned it out. Braised beef short rib: Tender but flavorless. The mashed potatoes tasted old, not fresh that evening. To top it off, my wife had arranged ahead of time for the birthday dessert to be brought out -- the message never reached Troy, so that moment never happened. Troy deserved better than what the kitchen sent out.

Their menu offers a wide variety of options, and it's clearly marked for food allergies, which is super helpful. I especially love their salads. They're fresh, flavorful, and you can sub out real dairy for vegan cheese, which is a nice touch. My personal favorites are the Vegan Taco Salad and the Shrimp Tacos--both are consistently delicious. You can dine inside, at the bar, or out on their small patio. The decor is minimal and no-frills--cement floors, metal tables and chairs--but that's because the focus is on the food.

I ordered the footlong hot dog, and it was one of the most unique hot dogs I've ever had. Instead of serving it on one bun, they split it across two buns with different toppings on each half. It also came with a generous portion of crispy waffle fries, which were excellent. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, and the prices were very reasonable, fitting the casual diner vibe. My only real criticism was the speed of service. There were only three occupied tables when we visited, yet it took about 35 minutes for the first plate to arrive. The last person at our table didn't receive their meal until nearly 45 minutes after we ordered, which seemed unusually slow for how quiet the restaurant was. The other thing worth mentioning is that the menu varies quite a bit between locations. This restaurant's menu is heavily focused on breakfast. While the food itself was good, it would be nice if the menus were more consistent across locations. Having to research which location serves which items takes away from the convenience of a unified brand. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return for a quick lunch. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and the creative footlong hot dog alone is worth trying.
