We had a take-out menu, it was close by, they delivered. Okay. It's pizza tonight. We ordered a large veggie, a large meat, a small cheese, honey bbq wings (10 pieces in a large), buffalo wings. Total was under $70. Delivery was free. Great, we save on the gas! The pizza was thin crust. The large sliced into 8 pieces, the small 6. Tasty, but the crust under the toppings wasn't very crisp. The wings were served with celery sticks and some mystery (we were expecting sour cream, but was it?) dip. The wings were sticky with sauce and probably fried, although not as crispy or plump and meaty as the ones I had recently at a Halfway Cafe. Still good though. read more

Oak Hill Pizza was recommended by the front desk staff at the Residence Inn in Needham, Ma, and they were right on the money. We placed a fairly large order, four pies and sides, for an impromptu 2nd birthday party for our grandson. All of the food arrived at the time requested, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. The person who took our order over the phone was courteous and helpful. I should add that we're from Michigan, land of the one inch crust, where pizzas are often judged by how much they weigh. It was a delight to encounter an East Coast pizza with a thin, crispy crust, with the emphasis on quality toppings and great flavor, instead of enormous quantity. Ordered a pizza and salad from Oak Hill today and my wife finds a bug in her salad. She was eating the pizza first then opened the salad and were grossed out. Called Oak Hill and they said to give the salad and pizza back, which is odd but sure. My father in law accidentally polished off the pizza so when they came to drop off the replacement food, they took it back since pizza was done. Terrible customer service and never ordering from here again. I called and the guy on the phone said "you gotta do what you gotta do" when I said I would post this on social media Hope you don't have the same issue and don't get sick from this food. And to the business owner, what I said was that my wife stopped eating it but I was unaware my Father in Law had eaten the remaining slices. Let me first say the food is so good; from pizza to wraps to pepper steak to chicken or steak tip dinner to Tzatziki and oh my favorite, 'spinach pie' appetizer. It is all good. I used to love it when it was a different owner. They changed the pizza style from Italian to Greek, where the crust is very thick and doughy. I was not impressed with their wraps and salad either (too much lettuce and not so many toppings). Last time I ordered there they messed up the order and gave the order to the delivery person to deliver to a different customer. When I went to pick up the food they were not transparent to me and didn't explain what happened. They said it was not ready. 30 min later, and still not ready I asked because I had been waiting for a long time and my online order said it was ready like 1 hour ago. Then, they explained what happened. They were not nice about it. They could have given us a discount or anything for the inconvenience, but they just made us wait until the "new order" was ready. So we ordered. After 50 minutes, we finally get a phone call that our driver was outside. But he wasn't. He ended up going to the wrong address- 20 mins away. So we had to wait longer. Avoid like the plague. Just got a delivery to work and all we ordered was a Caesar wrap and Steak Special, but weren't even close. Caesar wrap came with iceburg lettuce, tomatoes and chicken. Takeout or delivery. Not much seating inside. I've ordered from here several times. The pizza is good but, if you don't ask for it well-done, you run the chances of it coming out undercooked. The subs are very good. They have great sub rolls. I've also tried the buffalo wings and I would say they are slightly above average. If you're ordering the dinner plate it comes with fries and a salad. The meal comes with six wings unless you specify that you'd like more. Ordering online is a breeze. Their fried dough bites are to die for, and still hot when they're delivered! What really impressed me here is the customer service. I've had an item missing from my order twice when I've used online promotions. After calling to report the missing item, it was delivered promptly. This place is quite fantastic. The pizza is really good. I recommend the buffalo chicken pizza... it is the best I have ever had. The crust is thin and very tasty, but it is at times hard to pick up and hold its form. I only judge pizza on taste however, and that is very good. On the sub front, the meatball sub is absolutely amazing. The grilled chicken seasoning is very good in chicken wraps. Unfortunately, their shaved steak is not very good... it is too stringy and tough to eat. This is quite unfortunate because they have a sub called "The Oak Hill Special" (or something like that) which is in essence a steak bomb with cheese and it is topped with fries. Amazing concept. Have had delivery a few times from here. The pizza is good. Nothing great but there is a limited amount of pizza delivery options in the area. It also seems like they're never open anymore. Used to order from here on Sunday's but not it seems they are closed on Sunday's despite their website saying they're open every day. They also stop delivering really early. Went to order delivery at on a Thursday night and Oak Hill said they stop delivering at 7:30 (or 8, can't remember when exactly). Maybe if they are open more I can order from here again. read more

If you're going to name something on the menu after the name of your restaurant, it damn well better be good. The Oak Hill Special sub does not disappoint. We order takeout from here at least once a week because nothing beats an Oak Hill dinner. Period. I've been going here since middle school and under it's current ownership, it's by far the best it's ever been. The food is consistently wonderful. It's prepared promptly and the portions are generous. The owners are extremely hard working and strive to make customers happy. Benny (an owner) is the friendliest guy in the world. I've ordered from Oak Hill a handful of times, mostly their "make your own" salads, and a sandwich on a few occasions. It's never really anything to write home about, but they deliver for a small fee and they deliver to my work which is great since I commute by train and the area I work in doesn't have many good lunch places in walking distance for those rare days I don't bring a lunch. Unfortunately, today I ordered a panini and it was certainly not pressed and definitely not toasted, to the point where I had to use the toaster oven at work to toast it. It was essentially cold cheese and tomato on a piece of bread. This was after the unhelpful shrug and non existent apology from the delivery driver when I asked if he could look in his delivery bag to see if the side of honey mustard I ordered was in there (it wasn't.) I've contacted them with no reply as of yet. And from what I gather after reading other "bad" reviews, I probably wont be getting one. Very disappointed. The place is in such a random location though too...you just wouldn't expect a pizza place to be where it is (you'll know what I mean when you get there) Aside from all that, I find it to be a pizza place with some quality food. I remember Oak Hill's pizza as being tasty but if I were to recommend one thing from there it would be the "Oak Hill Special". It's a steak and cheese with tomatoes, some sort of 'special sauce' and it has french fries on top of it and its just friggin good. Anyways, now onto the quality and quantity of food. I ordered the meatlovers pizza, a make your own calzone and gyro wrap. Pizza was out of the world. Calzone was again, out of the world. Gyro wrap/sandwich was good. I know, I am biased and there is one particular place in the Chicago suburbs that, I feel has the best gyro sandwiches and I have the obnoxious propensity to compare any gyro dished out to me, to compare to the one that I have had at 'Pete's Red Hots' in Oak Park, IL. I personally consider Pete's as a benchmark as far as gyros go. But, that is just me. I also have a benchmark for the calzone and that is Albano's Pizzeria, Cicero, IL. They call it the 'Pizza Puff' over there. But, the calzone from the Oak Hill Pizza was right up there. All in all, an amazing first experience with Oak Hill Pizza. Will definitely order again.
