Glad that OHP is back open again, I haven't eaten here in a long time but yup you bet I will soon.

My order was wrong so I called to get it fixed the manager yelled and said that it wasn't a 5 star restaurant and I need to get over it. I was shocked how he treated me. He hanged up on me and called back and kept doing it so I ate the order how it was. Overall His behavior was awful with a horrible attitude . I Will never order from here ever again. read more

Placed an order online at 11:39am. Predicted ETA was 12:10pm. Called at 12:48pm to see what the delay was and spoke with a rude man. HE proceeded to tell ME what the problem was and then said he could tell by the GPS that the driver was at my location. When I asked if I could speak with a Manager/Supervisor he told me "No because we're too busy so she's making deliveries". I then asked if he would have her call me and he said "Ya" and then hung up on me without taking my number. The driver didn't arrive with the food until 1:05pm. Almost 15 minutes after the man I spoke with said the driver was at my location. The driver wore dark sunglasses in the building which just isn't professional. I also asked the driver to have the Manager call me. We'll see if I hear from her, if not then I will place another call. Service this poor is unacceptable. Not to mention the panini I received was soggy and cold by the time it made it. read more

Everyone is always nice and polite. Food is fresh and delicious. Delivery drivers are always pleasant and polite. Delivery is always timely and food is always hot. Love this place. After ordering/eating here hate to order from anywhere else. read more

Nice little local joint for what it is. Pizza isn't that great, the things to get would be wraps and and sandwhiches/subs.

Pretty good pizza. The pizza is ready in just 10 minutes. They deliver if you want it to be delivered. The only negative part is its location. It's located in the middle of a residential neighborhood and i never see people walking along the street to get the pizza. They always come in their cars, park in the small parking lot, get the pizza and drive away. Not a lot of residents eat pizza here. read more

Love the subs wraps curry fries and frozen yogurt with mixins. We order with delivery often and haven't been disappointed. Reasonable prices and generous portions keep us loyal customers. read more

As always with my reviews, since I'm a bit wordy when I get into details, here's my summary: - Pizza was okay at best, but the quality just wasn't there. - Sub was not worth finishing. - A little awkward to get to. More details: First up - my background. I moved to the area a couple years ago and have been trying every sub and pizza shop within 15 miles to try to find the one I love... Every place I've ever lived, I had a sub shop and a pizza place (sometimes the same place) that were amazing, a cut above the rest... The one place I could bring my friends and know they'd always enjoy their food, even if they don't love it as much as I do. Subs and pizza are a staple in my diet, and I want to enjoy them. With that... Oak Hill is one of the three pizza/sub shops within walking distance of my house. I was keeping my fingers crossed that it would be great, but it just wasn't. I stopped by at 6pm once, and they had sold out their last slice. I asked if they were making another pie, and they said "No, we only make one a day, around noon. If it sells out, that's it." One slice pie a day. Opened for lunch and dinner. Okay, a little weird, but... Food Review: So, I came back another day earlier, got a slice and a cold cuts sub, ate the slice while I waited for the sub. It was okay, but nothing special, and I was also pretty hungry. I sat down in my car to eat my sub, got three bites in, and decided to go find another sub shop to try, because I couldn't eat it. The roll was an okay texture, but it didn't feel nice to chew. It had a very bland taste, and there was too much bread to contents. The meats were okay, but not great, and the veggies were veggies, not much to say there. Cons: The food, mostly. The guy who worked there was just a guy, perfectly nice, willing to chat and answer questions. The place was clean... It was a little awkward to drive to (I was on my way for an errand, otherwise I'd have walked)... I dunno. It's hard to find cons after you throw out the sub, you know? My suggestion: If you live in Oak Hill Park, give it a try. You might like it, some people obviously do. If you live outside Oak Hill Park, I am sure there is a place that is more convenient and better. If you're in town for one night, and want something to eat, I strongly suggest you go somewhere else. read more

I ordered the pasta dish with vegetables in Pesto sauce. The taste is authentic and fresh and quality ingredients amongst solid portion. However All of which is wasted as I quickly LOST my appetite discovering how Much OIL was saturated in the noodles. On the bottom the pasta was drenched and swimming in a pool of oil. Not happy with the amount of oil. I had to throw half the food out. The pasta is hit or miss. This time it was extremely oily. Please fix this to create a more balanced texture. read more

The pizza is a cross between Sicilian and Greek a real hearty meal. The sauce and crust were fantastic. This place traded owners and the pizza is much better! Excellent price and now they have frozen yogurt for pickup or delivery. read more

Best pizza in the area. Not greasy (I usually prefer greasy), but this place makes up for it in flavor. Great dinners and subs, and incredible pastas. The price is pretty high, but you get what you pay for. They obviously use quality ingredients. read more

Have been ordering from this place for over a year. I ordered and paid for extra caramel for my fried dough bites like I always have and I barely got any this time. So I kindly went back to get more but the owner unwillingly gave me more and he was extremely rude. I paid for extra caramel...I should get what I paid for and not the rude attitude. They have great chicken fingers and curly fries! Pizza is above average. All in all a good local pizza joint.

Of all the pizza delivery places in Newton that I've tried, Oak Hill has the fastest service. The food is uniformly fresh and the pizza arrives while it's still hot. My favorite is the Oak Hill salad with buffalo tenders and my kids love their panninis. read more

Ordered take-out from here the other night because we wanted pizza and just happened to get their flyer a couple days before. The pizza was great, we got the loaded veggie and while it could have used more veggies the como of flavors was great, the pizza was just greasy enough, and nice and thin. Saw a menu at work and decided to try the Pear & Pecan salad which states that it has mixed greens and toasted almonds...NOT the case...95% was iceberg lettuce and the almonds were not toasted. Paid over $10 to be disappointed. Not a happy customer, most likely won't go back. read more

Reopened under new management in January 2014. Since this is the only food establishment within three miles of our house, my wife and I spent the fall and winter driving past it, hoping for it to reopen. Finally in January it reopened under new management, run by a very kind gentleman from Turkey who has been in the business for many years. We've now gone there a bunch of times and it's always been spot-on - pizza and subs are delicious and not greasy, as are the buffalo wings, chicken soup, and fried dough bites (addictive). I think they deliver to most of southern Newton as well as the New England Business Park over in eastern Needham. read more

The food used to be much better, but it has fallen off. Not to mention there is poor service. They claim to my mom to give the right amount of chicken fingers and plates but end up giving 2 fingers less and no plates. The manager also lies about coupons to take advantage of customers. The manager claimed that you can bring coupons in only to say it has to be done online. Overall very disappointing as they used to be much better. read more

This is currently our go to place for delivery. We've had the pizza with Ham and Bacon, Buffalo Chicken Calzone, Fries, Onion Rings and a bunch of sandwiches. Not a bad thing to say. I use the online ordering option and they give an accurate time for delivery. Prices are average and very happy with the style of pizza. read more

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, which costed 16 dollars, so I expected it to be a damn good pizza, but what I got was far from good. The pizza was below mediocre, it tasted and looked like a pizza you would buy from a 24 hour 7/11. My advice would be don't go to oak hill pizza, but if you are out of options and decide to go, DON'T GET THE PIZZA!!! read more
