I had the worst shopping experience. A salesperson, older guy, followed me around the store like I was a shoplifter. He literally stood behind or next to me the entire time. Not talking to me or asking if I need help finding anything. After I looked through a rack of hanging clothes and walked to the next rack he would check the rack to see if I took anything! Oakley does not stand behind their product! If your sunglasses are over a year old but less than two-years-old they refer you to the parent company Luxottica. Both companies are a total joke. Basically these glasses are the only ones that truly fit my face. The store here I had hoped would sell them at a slight discount. Alas that is not the case, but they have a huge selection and everything is actually Oakley manufactured =) The customer service is sometimes ridiculous and sometimes acceptable. Sometimes unless you come walking in like OC royalty errrr rich kids with lots of money to burn and dont have a job because your parents give you everything you could want, you are beneath the service level that others receive. Sometimes if its slow you will receive the same level of service. Pro Tip: You wont ever see their glasses go on sale. You can find them without tax now and then at sunglass hut if they have a tax free sale... The reason that I come here though is that they have random things that I need here and there; ear socks, nose pieces, different lenses for my M Frames, etc. They have all of the options available here. On top of that they also have a some clearance clothes at reduced rates. So if you have the look expect to get the treatment that you would hope for. If not, expect to be taken care of later in due time... enjoy trying on all of their options though. You will find out what does and doesnt fit you right before you buy. I finally broke down and got a pair of Oakleys for when I go mountain bike riding. After looking around for a good set of sport sunglasses, I finally decided on a pair that both looked good on me and also would be great for flying down a rocky trail without falling off. The quality of the glasses are pretty good and they have a wide variety of options available for particular sunglasses. I did end up getting the lifetime solution and cleaning cloth bundle for $10. For $10, it is definitely worth it. You can go to any Oakley Store or Sunglass Hut for refills. Something else that makes Oakley a great value is for a fee you can replace or change the lens later if needed. So if you lens get scratch up, you can at least change them out without paying for a new set. Overall, I am pretty happy with the purchase. read more

I had the BEST TIME shopping at this store. The sales associate I worked with, Jarred, was AWESOME and went above-and-beyond w/ me. :) I walked in, not knowing what to expect, and walked out with three pairs of sport sunglasses for skiing and mountain biking. I originally went in, to get a gift for my boyfriend's birthday, after looking at Oakley sunglasses online and feeling really overwhelmed about the color and style options. When I arrived, Jarred immediately helped me pinpoint certain popular styles for men, and explained all of the different lens types (there is a specific kind for each sport). He made my decision process SO MUCH easier (I knew I would have a really hard time making a decision when there are so many AMAZING color, style, and lens options). Jarred not only made the experience FUN, he made it interesting and EASY!! :) In the end, I couldn't resist buying 3 pairs of sunglasses - two custom ones -- with cool colors. Walked into this store looking for a specific watch on two different occasions and got the same results. Went to the counter where I asked generally if they carried "ladies watches" and got two disinterested sales girls who didn't even look up from their leaning heavily on the counter and blandly rearranging merchandise, mumbling something vague. I sound like my mother but sheesh....look people in the eye when you talk to them, speak clearly, look at least mildly interested and try to find solutions. read more

Im a big Oakley fan and this places carried just about everything but what I wanted. Looks like the style and frame of glasses I wanted are no longer carried. I was advised that I could buy the newer lens style and swap it out for the older one but that would be ridiculously expensive. It fail to mention they can take how ever the hell long they want to take then send it "two day" shipping!! Last year I ordered a pair of gloves for work and they never sent me the gloves. Never bothered contacting me. I waited a while then called just to be told they're moving the warehouse and probably can't find them. This company is garbage!! 5 Stars for their customer service. I had a return I needed to process today from an online purchase I made and the manager took the time to process it properly in a timely manner. They even made the return process into a training situation for a new employee which is a big plus! Why a big deal for something that should be standard service? I had attempted to do the return at the Brea location and they weren't able to or unwilling to help me process the return for whatever reasons (lack of training, avoiding of processing the return, etc) and this location was much closer to where I was. I love Oakleys, they are the only sunglasses & prescription glasses I buy and they are worth every penny. I probably bought at least 20-30 pairs of Oakleys since I got my first job in 1995. They take a good beating and still look good, also they have so many different styles to choose from, it's virtually impossible to not find something for everyone. I love this particular store because it has a lot of selections and sizes, I once visited the store at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga and the store was much smaller, the selections are not as good and the staff was not very helpful, they were too busy chit chatting with each other than helping customers. The guys & gals working at the Irvine Spectrum store is helpful but not too pushy, I like that, just very chill. I'm starting to buy more clothes since they come out with some very stylish digs, you just can't go wrong with Oakleys, they got you covered from head to toe, check out their sandals, altough pricey, it's very comfortable and looks good on ya. *If you want to get prescription glasses from Oakley, you'll have to go through an Oakley authorized optometrist and they will hook you up. read more

I have always been an Oakley fan. I stopped into this location to figure out which pair would be my next. I found the frames that worked for me, but I did not like the color of the fram or the lens. I asked one of the young ladies working what other color options they had, and she informed me that they could match any frame color with any lens on the spot. I told her which combination I prefered, Monster Dog with the polished black frame and black iridium polarized lenses, and ten minutes later I was out the door. I have been buying Oakley glasses and products my entire adult life. The type of service I received at an Oakley location. Was disappointing to me to say the least. My w square wires have a faulty hinge. So I called in advance to the store to ensure that I wasn't just driving a half hour. If there isn't OC traffic. They confirmed they had a screw or something. Then upon arrival they didn't have a screw they tell me the hinge is stripped and I don't have a receipt for warranty... I can walk in to north face and they warranty SHOES for LIFE no receipts... you give me 2 years on a pair of sunglasses that get stolen more often than break..
