Wonderful, wonderful experience overall - food, drinks, and time had with my friends during our…read moremonthly get together Saturday afternoon, but it was our server, Elim that really showcased the impeccable service at Whiskey Cake. Drinks and food came out fast, delicious, and we weren't rushed. He always came to the table to see how we were doing, got us everything extra we asked for, and it made us wanting to make next month's get together back at the same place! Just a few shots of what we had: pineapple mimosas, biscuits, deviled eggs. Not pictured: 1. I had the chicken chopped salad OMG...THE FLAVOR!! 2. Fried Green Tomatoes 3. For dinner, I chose the Rotisserie Farm Bird. The sauce it came on was good, but the breast was really dry. I used all the sauce on the plate for it, but I could still barely eat it. I had to ask a waitress passing by for some ranch (a trick, I learned to eat my mother-in-law's chicken). Of course the thigh and drum were better because they always are. The veggies on the plate were green beans, carrots, pearl onions, and potato. I don't know why people don't like their vegetables cooked anymore, but I don't like crunchy green beans. The carrots weren't exactly crunchy, but they weren't exactly cooked tender. They were definitely a weird texture. The (large) pearl onions were OK, but I would've preferred actual pearl onions rather than these that were kind of like the size of a shallot. The best thing on the plate was the potato and of course, not enough of it. I am diabetic so I did not try the whiskey cake. I'm sure it would have been delicious.

Here's a clean, polished review you can post--natural but enthusiastic:…read more Himes Breakfast was an awesome experience from start to finish. The restaurant was very clean and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. I ordered the Lumberjack, and everything came out great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and placed on top of the mashed potatoes--not cooked together--but honestly, it still worked really well and tasted amazing. One thing I really liked is that you can sub the biscuit for French toast or pancakes. I chose the French toast, but the Lumberjack is so much food that it was honestly hard to even get to it . Everything was delicious, and I'd give this place a 10 out of 10--I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to our waitress Sienna, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, recommended a bunch of great options, and made deciding easy. She checked on us often and even brought out a new syrup they make for us to try, which was so good. This place will definitely be seeing more of me!

Here is what we got; $14.00 Waffles - not fully cooked and straight out of a box- not fresh- hard parts throughout from freezer burn. 2 slices of bacon (this was fine) "smash burger" is NOT A SMASH BURGER AT ALL. Patty's are also frozen from a box and a traditional smash burger is paper thin- not 1/2 thick. And it was not fresh- definitely a frozen patty. Fries were not crispy. $50.00 bill for boxed freezer burn food. Save your money - go somewhere else!

I was really torn on what to order because I wanted a little bit of everything and this perfectly satisfied that need. It was a hearty and well portioned meal - truly encapsulated breakfast. My friend and I also got an order of their seasonal special - passion fruit paradise holey donuts which were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. We were staying in the adjacent hotel, and while they do offer a decent complimentary breakfast, you should consider stopping into First Watch for a nicer offering.

So will not lie I thought that since it is a franchise that the food would be the same no matter where you go but that is untrue. These places still have their own style and flair. The omelette was good but I will say moderate seasoning compared to the ones in Miami. The pancake was good but not as soft as the ones in Miami. It had crispier edges and still had great taste. Smack the butter on there and syrup if you like and dig in. Potatoes weren't as crispy but still really good. Overall enjoyed the place, if I had to pick my favorite aspect would be the staff. High energy, attentive but not annoying or pushy. Would definitely eat here again when in town.

A Premier Destination for Commerce and Culinary Excellence…read moreWhen evaluating a multifaceted establishment, the seamless integration of commerce and hospitality is the ultimate metric of success. Oxford Exchange in Tampa achieves this with absolute brilliance. It is far more than a hip restaurant; it is a European-inspired space housing a restaurant, a bookstore, a lifestyle gift shop, and dedicated counters for Buddy Brew coffee and TeBella tea. The architectural environment is exceptionally stimulating. The conservatory features a retractable glass roof surrounded by creeping vines. The cohesive design across the entire building reflects a highly intelligent approach to structural flow and aesthetic presentation. It functions brilliantly as a gathering place designed for human engagement. Managing diverse offerings - from the Champagne bar to the retail sectors - requires significant logistical precision. The menu is equally well-executed. The seasonal chopped salad and the fried Brussels sprouts demonstrate a commitment to high-quality culinary standards. For a family outing, the environment is welcoming yet sophisticated. My husband and children enjoyed the bookstore, which features two walls of bookshelves and various themed sections. Furthermore, the Commerce Club on the second floor provides a members-only shared workspace, a brilliant amenity for professionals requiring operational focus on the go. This location is a premier destination for anyone who appreciates thoughtful design, robust retail strategy, and exceptional food. It perfectly elevates a standard dining experience into a comprehensive lifestyle destination.

My husband shared it with him but is on the fence of if he'd get it again. He said depends on his mood next time. So definitely get it for the kid, toss up on whether Brandon will share it with him. Both kids loved the French fries. I got the smashed burger, which was delicious, with a side of fries for them which they devoured and wanted more. So next time we should get two sides of fries. My oldest son got the noodles with marinara. He ate a little, but not a ton so we still don't have a winner there. My dad got the ribs and liked it. I found the slaw to have too much dressing so that wouldn't be a top choice for me. We always like coming here, so I still recommend it. There was no problem getting a table on a Friday night even though my husband assumed it would be packed. Service was a little slow this evening, but nothing crazy.

First we could not hear each other from all the silverware clashing and second throughout our dinner 3 times glasses were shattered at the station. The third time we were concerned, a little piece of glass had fallen in our food. The server and the manager were nice but the manager seemed to think that the solution was for the servers to slow down. That doesn't make sense to me but ok. They did remake a plate to go for us, so that was nice. The food was a little meh to me. The short ribs could have used some salt or seasoning before making the ravioli's (same with the chicken parm) just a suggestion. Pasta tasted undercooked and as if it was box pasta. I've lived in nyc and have had some really good Italian food there so I'm a little critical. I think Olivia is a little more hype and a nice ambiance for being in south Tampa than good food.
