O'cado is one of those places that just gets it. The menu is packed with bold, thoughtful flavors and a vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I especially love their brunch menu--creative, comforting, and always satisfying. Their rotating specials keep things exciting, and every dish feels like a win for the plant-based community.

First time eating in person after many times Doordashing and Uber Eats'ing. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, good service, and most importantly, the food is even better in person. So fresh, flavorful, and yummy. We tried many items on the menu, but my favorite is still the delicious Carbonara a la Fettucine, which I highly recommend. :) There are many different vegan, plant-based options. The mocktails were also really good-- wish they were available for online delivery but I see logistically why not. Anyway, I would definitely return again.

Haven't been here in at least 2-3 yrs. Still plenty of meter parking or finding a parking lot nearby Appetizers came in less than 5 mins and the happy hour is a good length of time and on weekends The new mushrooms didn't taste THAT differentt than the buffalo cauliflower Entrees came less than 10 mins after the apps and i was starving! A second taste of that mushroom with the red sauce and it's . The bbq chicken wrap was crispy delicious, steamed veggies, those carrots! I asked for no bbq and it was still on there and it hit so i can't be mad at my waiter

Oh ho ho... Mrs. Claus has found a little plant-based paradise Ocado Restaurant may have a fully vegan menu, but darling -- it's one of those places I can bring my meat-eating friends and not hear a single complaint No side-eyes. No "where's the protein?" Just clean plates and happy faces I don't even read the menu anymore. I just point. Everything is that good. And the best part? I feel completely safe ordering because I know it's all made with real fruits and vegetables -- no mystery ingredients, no stomach regrets, no post-meal naps required The portions are generous (bless them), and I always leave with leftovers tucked under my arm like a festive little gift bag And that chocolate cake? I would trade every sweet treat in the North Pole for another slice. Yes. Every. Single. One. Straight to the Nice List. #MrsClausApproved #NorthPoleEatsTour #VeganEats #ShermanOaks #PlantBasedMagic

Updating my review as we found the lower priced parking lot, AND the new menu items my husband and I tried last night were SOOOOOOOOO delicious! The Chikun Wings are THE BEST vegan wings I've had! And I've had a number at various other restaurants. Sometimes when a restaurant adds new items, it isn't great. But Ocado's new items are fantastic additions to an already great menu. Get you some!!

Ask the Community - Ocado Restaurant

    Is their food organic?

Hi Rachel, We try to use organic and non gmo as much as possible but we are not 100% organic. So we don’t claim we are. And any restaurant who tells you that they are 100% organic is lying. Best of luck.

What are the happy hour times and specials?

As far as the particular specials, I am not sure as my party arrived after happy hour. Happy hours are from 3pm-6pm Monday - Friday, however, they also have extended happy hour from 6-9 for those seated at the bar!

What are/is the Wine Wednesday specials?

I went for lunch and they have daily specials. It changes, but good prices.

    Is there WiFi here?

Yes and the code is 8183800005

    Do they allow dogs?

Yes we brought our two dogs with us and ate outside. There was at least one other patron with a dog there as well.

Hi Hi, I am on a heart healthy diet This mean plant based with very little or no oil, whole wheat,…

They can. They can accommodate almost anything.

What dairy free cheese do they use?

Homemade cashew cheeses and a Follow Your Heart smoked Gouda

    Is this place completely vegan?

Yes, it is completely vegan! You will enjoy it so much!!!!

The setup is fast-casual style, where you order at the bar and then find a seat. The staff was excellent throughout the visit. They were patient, took the time to answer questions, and did a great job explaining the different wine options. They also let us sample a few wines before deciding, which I always appreciate. I ended up ordering the Rosso Veronese. It was dry overall but had a touch more sweetness than I expected, which made it easy to drink given I'm not much of a wine connoisseur. We also benefited from a special on the wine because it had been featured at an event the previous day. The space itself was comfortable and inviting. We grabbed a spot on one of the couches, which gave the evening a more relaxed feel compared to a typical wine bar setup. Pricing is about what you'd expect for a wine-focused spot. It's not inexpensive, but it didn't feel unreasonable either, especially considering the service and atmosphere. Between the knowledgeable staff, the opportunity to sample wines, and the comfortable setting, I'd happily come back and try a few more selections.

Food was good, but service was lacking, and at the price point was not of value to us.

It's a small place and the decor didn't really feel like it matched the vibe, and the karaoke set-up was not very good. It was really hard to hear the backing music, even when you were the one singing, but this isn't the type of place that you come to "perform" for karaoke like a lot of other places in LA. It's very casual and low-pressure. Song choices were all over the place (which isn't necessarily a good or bad thing). Late night happy hour menu was decent and they offered it from 9pm on that night, and the place did get packed to standing room only. I had a hard time finding info on what their happy hour was before we went, so I took a picture to share. This was on 2/6/2026. The bartender, Brian, was very friendly, but I realized when looking at the emailed receipt afterwards that he switched one of my sibling's drinks on my tab, and I'm assuming mine got put on theirs. We have the same last name, so I understand the mix-up, but it would have been nice if he just asked about who was who instead of assuming, and it also would have been nice to see an itemized receipt before paying instead of just seeing the dollar amount we owed. Not a huge deal this time, just something that I hope they will keep in mind in the future. For food, my partner was able to get a pizza from a place across the street and bring it back into the bar, and Brian was kind enough to offer extra napkins. For other people with back problems, be aware that their bar stools do have back rests on them, but no cushions. We had a good time, and this bar seems to host special events regularly, which we may go back for eventually if the right one comes up, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back here.

Sherman Oaks is gritty and the section of Ventura Boulevard that houses TLP is almost brutalist in its anti-establishment aesthetic. You would never know it was here if you didn't either live in the neighborhood or seek it out as I did. It is sandwiched between a completely non-descript place that I didn't even look at and a crystals shop with grafitti-etched windows (unfortunately!) but some really cool beads. Inside is the same -- no frills, a dress-down and survive-if-you-dare vibe. My pictures will illustrate what I mean. Nevertheless, the friendly service (shout out to our server, Patrick), the menu, and the quality of the food are well worth it. Again, see what we ordered in the photos attached. Everything was delicious. The floor, tables, and chairs were all clean. There is some kind of post-apocalypse rhumba going on with the ceiling treatment. It is almost reverse-logic art with all the shading (stains? velour movement?) and utilitarian installation it reveals. Love the walls though, and the worn distressed wood everywhere (see the pix, folks). A bonus was watching the Masters (Patrick let us linger) and sitting by a giant window that was open to the street. Parking is up a block or so on either side. We always find safe spots in Sherman Oaks. The music seemed to be one CD of an unknown (to me) vocal artist and was pleasant. The crowd was friendly and the whole atmosphere was like one big homey grunge party. You know those mornings you fall out of bed and almost don't want to change out of your pajamas or yoga threds? This is the place to go. I loved it. (NOTE: You may have to refresh this page twice to see my pictures, for some reason. grrrrrr)

Kelley, our server, was a sweetheart. And the glass of wine was a nice pour and a decent wine. I like that they let you in for something to drink before officially opening for the day. Cue record scratch... now about that food. No, we did not order the wrong thing and no, IMO, they were not just having a bad day. Look at these Huevos Rancheros with "house hash, tostadas and 3 eggs"... those are chips (I think from a bag of tortilla chips) so not really a tostada, no way there were three eggs in that thing (from what I could see)... not sure what the "house hash" is but nothing I could identify on the plate. I know a lot of people might leave a restaurant and say "I could have made that at home" but there is no way I would make something this crappy at home. LOOK at this Avocado Toast with "avocado spread"... that is some thin smear of something green but when you are calling something "Avocado Toast" there should be a substantial amount of the hero ingredient (and maybe not call it "avocado spread" on your menu description. To me, that says, "Look we don't want to call this a "rustic mash of avocado" or "Hass smash" or "hand-crushed ripe avocado" because we know you are actually going to SEE it in front of you in about 15 minutes and "avocado spread" won't lead to a major disappointment." But it did. And this slab of dry plywood that they were calling toast. I turned to my wife and in my best Sebastian Manascalco said, "Why would you do that??" This place mostly failed on food. The food at the other tables looked equally pathetic. Gotta say... all of the cooked egg components of each dish were decent but the rest of the items were like WTF? Ambiance? It's OK... I mean it was a bar with a ton of TVs going. Semi-nice vibe for a sports bar... lots of room. Just can't get over the food. We ate about half of our sodium bombs and left. But parts of the eggs were lovely... as was Kelley.
