A friend recommended Ocean Hai, so I wanted to check it out. I came here for dinner and requested to sit outside so we could watch the sunset, which I highly recommend. Everything was amazing, from the service to the food. I would definitely come back again whenever I'm in Clearwater. Our dessert took longer than expected, but the team was so thoughtful and took some money off the bill, which was such a nice gesture! Also, valet parking can be validated if you're dining here, which is super convenient. What I ordered: - Shrimp Pot Stickers - Fried Brussel Sprouts - Crab Rangoon - Gulf Grouper - Tandoori Crispy Chicken - Dubai Fakhama Cake - Sigla Cheesecake

The Sippin' Santa pop-up at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach perfectly captures Florida's holiday spirit! Combining tropical vibes with festive cheer, this restaurant is an adorable, coastal escape right across from the ocean. The beachy holiday mugs were the star of the night--and they're even available for purchase! The food was also delicious! Definitely recommend the miso soup, the presentation was next level.

Nice service and a good break from all the beach food. Our server was attentive and offered good recommendations. Drinks were great. I thoroughly enjoyed my Mai Tai and expresso martini . The restaurant is nice and spacious between diners. My salmon dish was surprisingly good, cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back.

We decided to take a chance and see if we could get into the restaurant....and we're so glad we did. The hostess was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and she seated us at a beautiful table right up front on the patio. Our waiter was equally kind and offered great recommendations. I started with an Asian Pear Smashed cocktail, which paired perfectly with their complimentary edamame. For dinner, we enjoyed the vegetable fried rice, Magnolia beef, and a California roll. Everything was delicious. It was a wonderful evening, and we'll definitely be back. Excellent first impression!

Came here for Thanksgiving meal. Solid options, great service for buffet. Beautiful views.

The breakfast buffet was enjoyable. The only concern I had was witnessing the staff clearing dishes from an adjacent table, one of them put a jar of coffee creamer on the tray with the cleared dishes. Another member of staff removed the creamer and said something to the other two. They looked at him funny as he walked it to the beverage bar and put it on ice to, I assume, reuse for the next guest. My problem with this is that it was already put on the dirty dishes tray and before that, you don't know if the guest drank from it or touched the rim of it to their coffee cup on which their lips had been. I suppose it could be said of any table condiment, but an uncovered container is certainly more at risk of contamination than a closed catsup bottle.

This restaurant is located in the beautiful Wyndham Grand Hotel, since I was attending a conference here it afforded me the opportunity to visit this restaurant a number times. With each visit I was reminded how consistent the service and food was the entire week, the staff here is very accommodating and professional. There was nothing served here that I didn't enjoy starting with my first meal, a very high quality tender New Strip cooked perfectly medium rare with a salad and vegetable fried rice this was all served after a number of wonderful shared appetizers which included shrimp dumplings, steak tips, egg rolls. I also enjoyed a catered meal from Ocean Hai for an event I was attending at the hotel this included a wonderful rendition of a surf and turf theme including a beautiful Beef Filet and a large portion of Chilean Sea Bass which started with a incredible cocktail flight and finished with a delicious crème brûlée. Even though the meals here were planned out well ahead of time for our group attending the conference this is definitely a restaurant I'd visit when in the area whether or not I stayed at the hotel...

Nice ambiance reminding me of Hawaiian dining. Perfect weather night, but the patio was closed. Service was very slow and we had to Grab clean plates from the table next to ours. Grouper was grossly under seasoned (luckily we added soy sauce from our sushi earlier.

As much as I was hoping to like this restaurant, it did not live up to expectations. They are located inside the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Resort and due to this, the pricing is very reflective. We were staying nearby at the Hyatt Regency so it was just a short walk away. The dishes all looked beautiful but the service was incredibly slow and the quality of food was just sub-par. The soup we ordered (not pictured) was full of pepper and the two people that tried it hated it. The waiter saw this and didn't even bother offering a different option. Now the sushi was good, and I did enjoy that. However everything else was alright and felt overpriced for what we were offered. The restaurant was empty (only one other table was occupied) yet it took nearly 2 hours for us to eat. The waiter had disappeared for most of our meal and would only come when it was time to bring out dishes. I definitely think there is room for improvement with a revamp of hospitality training and a redo of their menu. The restaurant looked beautiful but I think the emptiness spoke for itself.

    Sun set!

Solid 4, closer to 5! Outstanding service and ambiance, especially around sunset. Plenty of vegan options. The vegan chow mein and vegan pad thai with tofu were both very good. Complimentary edamame was a nice touch. Cannot wait to come back.

Back again and still as great as ever! Kaia is the best server! Great food. I love that they change up the menu a bit without major changes, just enough to make it interesting. Can't wait to get back!

My dad and I went here for Christmas dinner. It wasn't crowded at all. I really wanted the jollof rice since i also visited Ghana and wanted to try the chefs spin on it but they only had the kimchi fried rice. The inside of the restaurant was nicely designed! I definitely want to go back and the lobster fried rice with the oysters. Also, the crème brûlée was absolutely delicious! The best I've had in a long time.

Food was absolutely amazing! We had Lorraine as a server and she was very sweet. We came for my husband's birthday and she was very attentive. We had two toddlers with us and she was very accommodating. We got the brussels sprouts, edamame dumplings, spring rolls for appetizers. Everything was delicious. The brussels sprouts were my absolute favorite! For dinner, we got the tofu Noodles, the fried rice, the Asian salad, the wagyu beef, and the chicken. Everything was flavorful and delectable. Will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again I would definitely stay here again too. The breakfast was absolutely amazing every single day also.

The Deep End is on the 11th floor. Since it was super windy out, they had the high-tech premium screen windshields down, so you couldn't really see the exterior, including the water views and the Gulf. You can't really hear the wind noise either these were high tech sun windscreens. We have the Shishido peppers and they were absolutely delicious. Definitely a must get when you order anything at this place. My better half got the corn and it was OK. I wouldn't order that again. He also got a number of different drinks that I also would never order here, including the passion martini. I would just stick to the usual original drinks such as the bloody Mary, daiquiris. We both like this strawberry basil Collins drink. That was the highlight of the night that my better half and I both agree since we don't agree on much when it comes to food and drinks lol. I wish the drinks would have garnish in them such as mint leaves, slices of oranges, etc. They have french fries here that are thin, just like McDonald's fries and they're absolutely delicious. I will get these every time when I come here. I can't wait until it gets warmer out, and I would come here for a late lunch and just soak in the view

The restaurant wasn't very busy so we were surprised especially because the server started out seemingly great. Then the $56 lobster came out cold and in 2 hours of a 4 person dinner we were only able to get the servers attention to get 1 drink each. When we asked to speak with a manager she came out on the offense and was incredibly rude. I don't think I would go back to eat here, but I definitely suggest seeing the sunset on the rooftop! Also- The shishito peppers were delish!

I visited before a Rays game and was immediately impressed by both the service and the food. The staff was attentive without hovering, the pacing was excellent, and the entire experience felt polished and intentional. I ordered the Bibimbap with bulgogi steak, tofu, fried egg, kimchi, vegetables, gochujang, and crispy rice, along with two spring rolls. What stood out most was the balance. The dish delivered heat, sweetness, savory depth, texture, and freshness without relying on heavy sauces or excessive portions. Every ingredient maintained its own identity while contributing to the overall flavor of the dish. Too many restaurants create flavor by drowning food in sauce. Hawkers does it through seasoning, spices, and technique. There was no puddle of sauce at the bottom of the bowl, no overly sweet glaze, and no greasy heaviness. The rice absorbed flavor without becoming soggy, and the kimchi, vegetables, egg, tofu, and bulgogi worked together beautifully. The spring rolls were equally impressive. Light, crisp, delicate, and perfectly executed, with a thin wrapper and just the right amount of crunch. What impressed me most was that I left satisfied, not stuffed. The portions were thoughtful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were layered rather than overwhelming. Since moving to Florida, this ranks as one of the best restaurant meals I have had. We weren't seated until around 8:20 PM. The restaurant was extremely busy. They had a separate gluten-free menu which was nice. Once we were seated, it took a while for our waitress to come over, but we understood because of how crowded it was. Unfortunately, when she did come to the table, she seemed extremely rushed and it came across a little rude. I had several questions about gluten-free precautions, and every time I asked something she quickly said "yes" without really explaining. We ordered the Millionaire Bacon, oysters and the octopus as appetizers since both were listed on the gluten-free menu. I specifically explained that both needed to be prepared gluten-free. On the menu, it even notes in parentheses what needs to be removed to make certain dishes gluten-free. When the appetizers arrived, I noticed the octopus still had the red sauce that the menu said must be removed. I stopped our waitress as she rushed by, and she quickly said it was gluten-free and walked away. My husband had just put some in his plate when the server, who had brought the food out, came back and asked if we had eaten any yet because it had not been made gluten-free. He immediately took it back and returned with a gluten free one. When I mentioned it to our waitress, though, she kind of just shrugged it off. For dinner, I had the seafood bowl, and my daughter, who also eats gluten-free, had the salmon with potatoes au gratin. My son and his girlfriend got sushi, and my husband had the fish Clearwater style. Everything looked great when it came out, and I double-checked that my meal was gluten-free. The server confirmed it was. Overall, the food tasted really good. The only issue was my daughter's potatoes au gratin there was so much grease pooled on top that she ended up not eating it because they were basically inedible and her salmon was over cooked and had zero seasoning. Overall, our meal was good. The restaurant was packed, and we were disappointed that we missed the chance to sit outside and watch the sunset, but that was obviously due to the rain and not the restaurant's fault.

When we finally got our food, we really got to enjoy the flavor, the crispiness of the pork skin, and the different sauces that they've prepared for dipping! My coworker and I remarked that the food was delicious! The sticky rice came in a little straw box. It got dry since we both took it out of the plastic wrapper, though, so keep the rice wrapped up to enjoy the texture more! The crying tiger came with perilla leaf. I love wrapping meat with the perilla leaf - it tastes so fresh. We also ordered the mango sticky rice. The coconut cream sauce was perfect on the sticky rice.
