Overall good food and company. The place was packed on a Saturday brunch and we unfortunately couldn't get a table outside with the water but rather got one inside with our reservation. So view was okay but the inside was air conditioned so it felt good. Server was nice and food was decent. I liked the avocado hummus appetizer it was really good. My tacos were ok and my friend who ordered a burger liked it. Their cappuccino was refreshing! Overall a nice afternoon. Note valet is $7 cash only and you pay upfront! Also their womens restroom only has two stalls and so there was a massive line of girls to use the bathroom. Came to celebrate my birthday it lived up to all my expectations . The location is easy to find , be mindful Valet is cash only $7 but they can have you Zelle if you are dining in . The ambiance was lovely it's breezy, clean, and open which this beach view is literally beach front meaning you can step from your table to the sand . It's right by the pier so it makes for the best scenery . It's not hot it was shaded and we were seated right away . The food here is pricier but it's worth it . The burrata was a nice twist on a classic with added butternut squash marmalade with spiced pepitas . It was sweet, salty, and light. The drinks are were delicious I went with the Mango on Fire with mango purée , silver tequila , orange, lime cholula and jalapeño salt rim . I'm now a Believer cholula goes into cocktails . Keep in mind they are $17 each . Entrees I ordered the jerk swordfish with maduros, aji corn cream, baby kale and a minor mojo .. this was so good ! They also have a kids menu which is nice . LOVED this place! I put pictures up on my IG and everyone was asking me about it! How can you go wrong with an upscale beach bar that has amazing sushi, good drinks, and great bartenders? Most beach bars are like Tiki bars, and the food isn't great at all! However, the sushi here was excellent! We sat outside at their indoor/outdoor bar and started with 6 East Coast oysters, grilled octopus and their lobster sushi roll. (The bartender suggested we try this roll). The roll was outstanding OMG! I ordered a few classes of their sparkling rose, which was also excellent. (Not too dry or too sweet). We were pretty full after this, but insisted on trying their spider roll with fried soft shell crab. Also another favorite. The bartenders were really nice. If you're familiar with NJ at all, it has a bit of a Long Branch, NJ vibe in that the restaurant is nice (people aren't wearing bathing suits inside), and you have the ability to stare at the beach/water 10 yards away. My friend suggested coming here and I figured it was a bit more of a tourist trap, but he assured me that it was really good. We went for lunch and the booking system was easy. Ballet parking was seven dollars and the food was really great. The service was also superb. I will be coming back here. I'm glad that I found out about it. I really wish yelp had a "beyond five star service" tab. This restaurant has really made me feel like a million bucks. I am not sure if this is common or if my server, David was some type of super man or something. My goodness!!! Attention, attention, attention! He noticed absolutely everything and moved so in sync with us. We were celebrating "Galentine's Day" and we discussing the many ups and downs we have experienced recently so having someone who protected our sanity by being a TRUE HOST was something to be said. The front hosts were just as attentive. They allowed me to sit at my table as my guests arrived so I could get started with my appetizers and drinks. The valets have you pay before you park so that's one less thing you have to do when getting out of there. It's so awesome. I will definitely be back and will surely be calling to make sure David is working and that I am placed in his section. Absolutely stunning oceanfront views. This is a fine dining venue with an open concept. As you walk in you are taken back by the views and exquisite designs throughout the place. You are able to sit inside or outside. We tried several different appetizers all of which did not disappoint. The Calamari were cooked to perfection. Then you must try the Harvest salad it is a great mix of tastes. The Avocado Hummus did not disappoint the portion served is good for 4 to 5 people. For Dinner we had the Lobster Mac and Cheese which features a whole lobster tail. The Salmon with couscous and the 14oz Prime Ribeye are also good to share. We finally got to go to dinner at Oceans234. This place has been on my wish list for awhile. We went to celebrate a birthday. We sat on the outside patio, adjacent to the beach. The weather was perfect. The indoor space is small & right next to the patio. The back "wall" is a long row of fold back windows. So the whole place almost becomes outdoor space in good weather. When making our reservation, there was a spot to inform the restaurant if you were celebrating a special occasion. Parking is all valet at $5 per car, unless you want to park at the beach, south of the pier and walk to the restaurant. Immediately when we arrived, Oceans 234 gave the birthday boy a nicely decorated business card, thanking us for choosing to celebrate our special occasion with them. Attached to the card was a wine glass tag. Very nice! We shared the octopus appetizer. Perfection! Tender octopus, olives, cherry tomatoes, potatoes, fennel, & chorizo. My husband had the miso salmon, savoring every bite. I enjoyed the lobster Mac & cheese. I've tried this in many places. I've never before been served my Mac & cheese with a large whole lobster tail on top. The desserts looked and sounded great, but, alas, we had no room. I think if we had ordered dessert, it would have been served with a sparkler on top, in honor of the birthday. Very festive. We will be back... read more

We were six people, only my husband enjoyed his swordfish. I had a Caesar salad with chewy tuff chicken and the Caesar salad wasn't great. We all left about 80 -85 percent of the meal on the plate. No questions were asked because I think they must be used to returns or unhappy customers??? Out of the six people that went only one said the meal was OK and nobody else like their fish. Valet is $5 - wasn't expecting that but for such a low price it was better than trying to find somewhere to park. The overall ambiance was great for date night. Sultry lighting that wasn't too dark to see your food & close enough to the beach to hear waves crashing. The GM came over and welcomed us and made a few dish suggestions which is what we ended up getting. That was a nice customer service touch. I didn't get the Thai snapper but my date demolished it so I suppose it was good. I had an appetizer and a plus one menu item which was the perfect portion for me. The grilled octopus dish had a lot of dimension flavor and texture wise which was a joy to eat. The Mac & cheese wasn't to die for but I still enjoyed it. Would I return? Great atmosphere - right on the beach, upscale and classic. For drinks we ordered the watermelon freshly squeezed drink and the ginger drink. The watermelon vodka drink was delicious - fresh and went down so smooth. Our server was very friendly and helpful - he even talked us out of one dish wanting us it was the only dish on the menu that wasn't great, which I really appreciated! For appetizers we ordered the Burrata and the Korean bbq flavored chicken lollipops. The chicken lollipops were incredible - if you like korean flavored meats, you will love this. Savory, sweet with a slight crunch - fantastic. The Burrata however was disappointing - very bland. Served with cut up squash (which is a vegetable with very little taste to begin with) and that's it - I would have preferred it served with tomatoes with a drizzle of some sauce. It was so bland that I was spreading sauce from our wings onto the bread and cheese just to give it some flavor. Wouldn't recommend. For our meal we ordered the filet mignon meal and the lobster mac & cheese. Both were incredible. The filet was incredibly well cooked and tender. My only note was I wish it had some sauce or au jus to accompany the filet. The lobster was expensive but delicious and had tons of lobster meat, highly recommend. Overall, nice place - expensive but with the view and ambience it's worth it. Some items are hit or miss so just do your research, but overall would come back! read more

The service was elevated (Manager Vince stopped by our table and was so kind!) and the food was incredible. Ambiance just can't be beat -- the sunset was memorable as was the breeze throughout our meal! We enjoyed the Yuzu Salmon Tiradito, Local Burrata, Seared Diver Scallops and Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb. Would order each of them again but can't wait to return and try other dishes! As it was my birthday, dessert (which was outrageous) came out with super fun sparkling candles...it was a memorable evening for my family and I and I look forward to returning in the future. Great little beach bar/restaurant in Deerfield. Parking is a little bit of a pain. It's actually cheaper to valet than to park in the public lot across the street. I learned that lesson the hard way. Reviewed during covid.. Once you walk up, there are two options, inside or outside seating. There are a few tables around the bar if that's where you like to sit. The host seated us, and we sat outside along the boardwalk with a perfect view of the beach. The service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Masks were worn by everyone. They have a full bar and many local beers available. I was happy to see Barrel of Monks on the menu. As far as the food, they have many great seafood options. Our table got the triple tail, snapper sandwich, and skirt steak. Everyone really enjoyed the food. The prices are not cheap, but you'd expect to pay a little more along the beach in Deerfield, especially at a seafood place. read more

We went here for my high school daughter's birthday dinner. It is a wonderful location on the beach with a cool ocean breeze. My one negative is that you have to valet and you need to pay $7 for the parking. I think that is a bit selfish since you are going in there for an expensive dinner. I would have just tipped nicely but in any event you have no choice. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and they immediately told the maitre d' and the server that it was her birthday. Brian was excellent and he brought my husband a 'watermelon heat' drink right away. He thought it was delicious. We also ordered burrata and a small house salad, blackened swordfish (delicious) with steam spinach, veal milanese, roasted chicken and lobster roll. It was beyond good!
