***** Critics Review ***** Great decor, so-so food, expensive drinks. Beef Enchilada The chili con carne sauce is very dense (chunky) compared to traditional chili con carne sauce that is a little bit more fluid and richer flavor. It's more of a creative twist than traditional. Filling is nicely seasoned, it was moist but for some reason, it tasted dry. Not sure how that happens. Kind of strange. Score 6/10. Sour Cream Chicken Enchilada: Very tasty. The chicken is moist and seasoned. However, the sauce breaks apart within minutes. You don't pick up very much sour in the sauce - it need more. Score 7/10. Frozen Strawberry Margarita: Nice overall, good tequila profile, good flavor, and not too sweet. Enjoyable, but nothing special - and 1/2 the amount other places serve. Expensive too. Score 7/10. Atmosphere: Vibrant hot shop vibe. Crowded and people knew each other. Nice decor and very appealing. Score 9/10 Overall: Fun place but food is nothing special. Drinks are expensive. Score 7/10

Trying Odelay for the first time. Let me tell you, this spot definitely does not disappoint. My wife and I decided to have dinner here and will definitely be coming back. I went ahead started off with a Queso and a Guava margarita!! Just delicious, the queso was really good with the chile con carne.. For entree we got the combo fajitas and let me tell you.. wow! Greedy taste and flavor all around!! Our server was very polite and attentive. The place has a nice patio as well as the interior. Music was also great! No wonder this place is always busy.. Will definitely be back more often. We're just like 7min away.. lol! Great 5 star in my book..

Tex Mex New Mexico cuisine at its best! The food was amazing and the chef was superb. One of the members of our party was vegetarian and the chef made a personal visit to the table to make sure she understood the dietary requirements. That's exceptional service and care! Plenty of free parking.

Dinner at the bar with some college football. Bar are has several TVs so dinner during games is good. Food was good as I recalled from last visit. We had the chicken and beef quesadillas. Be aware that service at the bar can be slow when it's rush hour. Lots of easy parking. Lots of children. Patio options are available.

Mexican here is commercial. Me and my partner mistakenly came to this place thinking it was Escondido when we got here we were like we'll give it a chance. The chips were hot and fresh but still had a stale texture about them. I got the chicken fajita plate, the food came out within five minutes that's always alarming to me. The food was hot but not just cooked hot, chicken was dry ands lacked flavor, the rice was lukewarm ands I didn't taste the beans cause I assumed it would be not tasty. The service was eh ok... the pricing does not match the food... the margarita we had was pretty strong.... Nice lil atmosphere.... All in all in would not return

Waiter named "baby ruth" was rude for no reason, and took extremely long time to take our order. Food was good must try the "perfect nachos". Ambiance was well the restaurant was clean and had nice music.

Odelay is one of our favorite spots--we come almost every weekend! The food is always fantastic, and the atmosphere is great. We highly recommend the fajitas and margaritas; both are flavorful and always hit the spot. Excellent service and a must-visit if you're in the area!

Usually,I can tell on entering a restaurant by the attitude I'm greeted with, how it's all going to shake out. In Odelys case,it was all smiles and welcoming body language. One word may help you decide on going here. Patio. More often than not I opt to sit inside most Dallas restaurants with patios. Why?After thought. So many are in bright sun, adjacent to automotive exhaust, external noise...etc. Just put something outside and call it "a patio"(after thought). The first impression you get here is,I want to sit on the patio! I did and loved it. It's a large space esthetically divided creating a great atmosphere. I'd come back just to sample the extensive tequila menu, out here. The only thing holding Oldey back from five stars is drinks. Little bit light on the alcohol. Evidently they haven't learned the #1 Tex Mex restaurant rule in Dallas. Serve em Stiff. Other than that, food, atmosphere, service and price are good. I will say, there is more and more competition in this upscale leaning concept these days. While Odelay hasn't knocked my top choice off the mountain ( long way to go),they'll do if I'm in the area or as I said, This could be a destination tequila shot sampling spot. You decide.

The taproom is right off Inwood Road and it feels very city. Between the train cars crossing the bridge overhead to the activity in the bar, I definitely think Celestial Beerworks has the right vibe for what it offers. I ordered the Strawberry Lemonade sour, and it was very good! Not as sour as some others I've tried, but was definitely tasty nonetheless. My other friends enjoyed their drinks as well. There is a cute little food truck outside that offers tacos, queso, quesadillas, etc. I ordered the veggie street tacos and queso and chips (not pictured). Bit expensive for the amount of filling in the tortillas in my opinion ($2.5 / street taco, $6 queso and chips) but was tasty nonetheless. I appreciated the sauces on the side but ultimately would have liked more kick to them. It's Texas, baby, bring on the spice! Food takes a LONG time, which is nice when you want to sit down and have a few drinks, but not too great if you show up pretty hungry! Overall, would definitely come back for another beer / trivia night but would probably eat beforehand.

I'm a 35-year-old dad, so I appreciate places that feel relaxed and family-friendly, and this definitely checked those boxes. The grilled cheese was great, but I've gotta be honest -- the tomato soup tasted more like tomato paste thinned out with a bit of water. It didn't have that classic tomato‑soup flavor I was expecting. Aside from that, the atmosphere here is awesome. It's welcoming for both families and adults, and the space has a fun, energetic vibe. We came for a ping‑pong session, and it was the perfect setting -- clean, lively, and very community‑driven. A big shoutout to Abby, who helped us the most during our visit. Friendly, knowledgeable, and great energy -- exactly what you want from staff in a place like this. Service overall was excellent. If you're looking for a fun, social spot to hang out, grab a drink, and enjoy good company, Community Beer Company definitely delivers. Just maybe skip the tomato soup.
