Pretty tasty menu. Had the fried wagyu beef tacos, shrimp, queso, brownie pecan and tres leches desserts. Highly recommend the tacos and brownie. Ranch waters were decent. Server was great but busboys were a little short staffed so took a while to clear tables. We'll be coming back again, especially when the weather cools down. Chips - great Salsa - great Guac-- fresh and delicious My little heart got so excited when I saw "The Shed Enchiladas" on the menu... I consider Santa Fe a second home and often yearn for the taste of really good red and green Chile and blue corn tortillas. But.... I'll give a pass on blue corn tortillas (what I'd expect from even mentioning The Shed), but the enchiladas were rolled, not flat?! I don't think the owners are Hispanic.. they would know better if they were. The food tastes like someone making food they think is Mexican. SPICY (picoso) Guacamole was luke warm spicy. I had shrimp tinga.. it didn't taste like a thinga.. one bite I was no longer interested. This food lacks FLAVOR. Its like they're cooking for the blandest of palates.. go to a taqueria if you're looking for good food. this place isn't it, unfortunately for taste. Love Odelay wait staff act mature and happy to help you in any way. Met the owner my second time in. Had wagu meat fajitas and was a little undercooked for my liking. They graciously replaced it with medium rare meat and did not charge me for the plate. I was astounded to say the least. We went on my friends birthday this year such fun we had. When I ordered "pork stew" I expected, I guess, a substantial amount of actual pork. Instead it was soup containing a few tiny pieces of meat like the chicken you used to get in the old Campbells chicken noodle soup. Regarding my wife's fajitas I don't know how "waygu" beef can be rendered that tasteless. However, we continued to wait for at least 10+ minutes for a waiter to appear for drinks or food order despite the fact that all surrounding tables were full with guests receiving service. Someone is not "minding the store"! Beware if you order To Go from Odelay's website. Their website does NOT have their current menu. If you order "Siete" from the Odelay website, the kitchen will prepare an entirely different dish. This happened to me tonight. I returned with the incorrect order, was told it would take 6 minutes to fix. It took 15. Was I offered a seat, a glass of water while I waited? No. The Manager supposedly refunded my entree cost. I haven't seen that refund yet. I still think it's a mediocre restaurant with mediocre food and service. Disappointing considering who owns Odelay and the fact they have had enough time to work out any kinks. No one is minding the store. read more

Service is absolutely great but the food is even more amazing! Ask for Noe the waiter he is super sweet and knows the menu well to help guide you. Great patio for a nice day outside. It's covered and has fans to get that nice breeze going. We have the brisket tacos as recommended by our waiter and those were the absolute best Brisket Tacos I've ever had...not too spicy, the brisket was so tinder and tasty. The flour tortillas did not fall apart when eating the taco which is a plus. The beverages for happy hour aren't bad either! Went here for the 1st time last night. The salsa was delicious....the chips were warm and addictive! Hubby got the chicken fajitas and really liked, mom got the ground beef tacos and gobbled up all 3! They both want to go back! I had the tortilla soup. It was good, but I prefer broth based instead of tomato based soups. Will try something different ext time. Mom got the mango margarita on the rocks and never finishes her drinks...this one was gone and fast! Hubby got a frozen swirl margarita and liked as well. My soda was in a can and not a fountain drink...will have to try spic margarita next time! The service was awesome. Everyone so attentive and quick. The food came quickly too. Our waitress was great! Overall the service and food were good! The atmosphere was nice and liked the chips and salsa a lot! I got the Cinco and the brisket taco and relleno were really good, the sour cream ckn enchilada (my usual fave), not so much. The sauce was too "raw" sour cream tasting and very thick. The chicken was also like minced up into a paste, no shredded or chunks of chicken. so the texture was very mushy. However, my biggest annoyance/complaint was that I ordered a fountain soda and got charged $3.50 for each refill. Is this a new thing? I have been to some restaurants where they serve cans and will charge you for each, but I have never been charged for refills on a fountain drink. Needless to say, I think there are overall much better places in this area for the value. Not sure if I would return here by choice. read more

I waited a while to go so start up problems are fixed. I wish I had a better review. Arrived with 4 people at 530 and had 2 more people on the way. Hostess would not seat us, not a complete party. Showed us our booth but we could not sit down, so we stood next to the table for 5 min. Stupid rule in this case. Our people showed in a few min. Waitress took drink order , still happy hour. Very average margaritas, one was a Cadillac and not worth it. Ordered queso and guacamole for the table. Also just average 6 of us ate just half. Chips and salsa also just average. Waitress pushed us hard to order quickly , no time to enjoy our table of friends. Ordered 3 Texican Classics no. tres, one fried tacos, half order nachos .The fried tacos were good , the best thing we had. All three of the tres orders were just ok at best. I am sorry the food was just OK , service pushed to turn the table. Three of us were former restaurant owners so we know good food when we are served it. The 2 stars were for the ambiance and atmosphere which was very nice. I do not think any of our party will be back. So sorry. read more
