OH MAMA IS THIS PLACE GOOD pun intended. Service here was extremely good and everyone was so polite. I was recommended the fried chicken and it was honestly so good. The sauce was amazing and the chicken was so crispy. I highly prefer this place's wings over any other restaurant/fast food place. Other than that I tried the Odenn soup and it was top-notch as well. This might be one of my new favorite Korean comfort food spots! I'm on the constant look out for good Korean food so I had to try this place. First impression was great- love the aesthetics of the place (modern/home-y), I love the fact that they have korean side dish displayed, packaged, and ready for takeout. My parents would tell me, you can tell a good korean restaurant just by their side dishes. These guys have it all! I love their simple menu so it was easy for me and my colleague to order their whole menu (4 options). Everything on their menu was very well marinated and not too salty! This was important for me because Korean food shouldn't be very salty. The chicken is AMAZING -must try. However, I must say that I wasn't completely in awe of the fish cake broth (just satisfactory). If you're in the area for reliable korean comfort food, y'all need to check this place out. read more

Best korean fried chicken I've had and I'm not one to like fried foods! I ordered the 24 piece chicken with a mix of 1/2 plain and 1/2 garlic soy. This is made to order and it takes about 15 minutes. The batter wasn't too heavy like other chicken places and the flavor on the garlic soy was sooo yummy! I wish I ordered a full order of garlic soy. The plain wasn't bad but next time - garlic soy all the way! The plain wings come with a small side of hot sauce. I thought it was a tiny container of hot sauce relative to the 12 plain wings pieces but after tasting how spicy the sauce was, I understood why the container was small! You don't need much! Definitely will be coming here for my korean chicken fix. read more

Oh mama's pricing is too high. $21 for 18 pieces of fried wings. And if it was tasty, it's not expensive. But it was not good at all. I wouldn't order it again. And the young lady who I've asked if it was good told me with confidence that it's good. Not true! The batter was too thick, the chicken had old rotten smell. Bones were broken off and bloody within the batter. Not fresh chicken at all!! Their soy sauce crab - ganjang crab was really horrible too. Nasty. Other items are pretty decent taste to good. A sweet little Korean kitchen with a large selection of refrigerated kimchi's when you enter. A small menu of Korean favorites like kimbop, fish cake soup, spicy rice and their known chicken wings. It's obvious it's well known establishment and favorite amongst the locals. This kitchen has a walk up register where you pick cold items from the refrigerator, order some hot dishes and pay and go or there are 3 tables to sit and enjoy your food. To be honest I was a little apprehensive about going here, I thought it was going to be old ladies who don't speak English and it was going to be embarrassing for me not knowing what to get or what to order. Man, was I wrong the staff was very nice, extremely helpful (spoke perfect English BTW...lol) and the atmosphere was great. It's not a huge restaurant or anything but more like a Korean fast food but the food is restaurant quality. Really good prices I got the wings, spicy rice, and crab cakes (they were fresh and delicious) for just over $20.00. My wife, son, granddaughter, and I went here for lunch today after finding Oh Mama Kitchen by using Yelp. There were quite a few ready-to-eat items in the open-face refrigerators just beyond the front door. A little further in, there was one table for two, two tables for four, and one table big enough for a large family or a small party. We wanted something hot, and the menu was written on a small chalkboard by the cash register. There were only a handful of items, but we still couldn't decide because we weren't fully familiar with the choices. Thankfully, the employees explained the menu and offered a combination of the smallest quantities of each menu item. As it turned out, everything in the menu sampler tasted great, and the total quantity was just perfect. What made the experience even better is that the service was so good. Much better to get a plain fried chicken because the one with sauce is horrible! They put bbq sauce on it but literally looked like they put a drop on each chicken. Love this place. Went there for my first time today and really liked it. Got the half and half wings and they were delicious. Love the breading on the wings and the chicken itself was tender.
