Not necessarily a "spa" per se, just a converted office space where you wait to get a massage. I think they must specialize in medical massage because they had some retuning customers cycling in and out when I visited. I read the mixed reviews on here, and it looks like this who had a negative experience were expecting the robe, slippers, sauna, and relaxation rooms, which is totally understandable. For my birthday, I had my heart set on the spa at Caudalie, but online booking was difficult and trying to get in touch with a human from customer service was a nightmare. I then had other massage reservations at a differenr day spa that were cancelled the day before my birthday by the business (they were low on massage therapists) so I frantically called up Ohm hoping to snag 2 spots for a massage in the afternoon. I understood that this would be less of a "spa" experience, and more of a "massage and go." Making an appointment over the phone was easy, and less than 24 hours after booking, we were in the waiting area getting ready for our massages. The area is small and quaint, but we were happily greeted by the manager and our massage therapists. You have to take your shoes off when entering the waiting room. I wish they had given us disposable slippers to walk around instead of having to walk barefoot on the carpet, but that's me being a germaphobe. Tea and water is available in the waiting area too, as well as magazines and cleaning supplies. The massages were good for the price ($169 each), and I was just really happy they made time for us on short notice. We had the option to keep our masks on for the entire duration of the massage which was very comforting. My massage therapist was super clean which was greatly appreciated in our current environment. We had dinner reservations immediately after our appointments, so management let us use their small restroom to get ready and didn't rush us. I was given a small complimentary bag of chocolate-covered cherries since it was my birthday which was very sweet. Overall, not a bad spot for a massage if you're in a rush. It's no frills, but a good option.

I booked my Spa Day for today in advance with my two girlfriends and I wanted to thank Kathy for her help. I really love the new spacious layout of Ohm on the new floor and there's more room in the lounge area. One of my friends spotted Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls) relaxing at the lounge area when we were there...that's pretty cool! I redeemed my 50% off for 60 minute custom massage which I personally booked Rose because she's really awesome. The custom massage included different techniques such as Swedish, shiatsu, trigger point release, myofascial release and passive stretching. Boy, my body was just tangled in knots of stress. I love how she used heated pillows and hot towels to warm the veins and get it my blood flowing. Man I really, really, really enjoyed my full body massage from head to my toes with Rose!! I will recommend it to anyone because you're getting your money worth here because all the therapists and staff are there to cater to your needs. Can't wait to be back...maybe in a few months =P

She set me up with some calming tea and brought me to a private changing area with a locker for my belongings. Everyone in the vicinity checked in to make sure I was doing ok. I was worried that because I had arrived late, I would eat up some of my massage time. No siree! They moved my massage to start when I was ready to begin. I booked the 90 minute Nuansa classic massage. You know how some places start the clock before you've sat down and finish the massage early (aka you pay for an hour and it's only about 45 minutes)? Well! That's not the case here! I got all 90 minutes of my massage. The massage itself: not to be believed. Lukkana started by saying "time to relax". And boy did I. Let me tell you one thing about me - I have the most ticklish legs of anyone I've ever met. Usually, when I have my legs massaged, I kick a hole in the wall and the masseuse files for a lawsuit (this is an exaggeration). Well! Somehow, Lukkana was able to work the muscles in my leg without triggering my dainty ticklish reflexes. I was astonished! Then, you know how sometimes you ask for a firm touch and you get jelly hands? Or the other way around and you're walking out with bruises? WELL - Lukkana made me feel immensely relaxed WHILE ALSO really working the tissue. What a novelty. She finished up with a scalp massage, which is truly the way to my heart. 11 out of 10. Would recommend. Thank you so much for making my day.

Bonus points for the free underground parking which is especially valuable in the Flushing area. You pay at the front, leave your ID, then take off your shoes before heading downstairs to the wet area. There's shoe cubbies on the first level, but I prefer to take my shoes downstairs to your assigned locker so I don't have to worry about them potentially going missing. For proper etiquette just make sure to hold off on putting them on until you get to the first level when you're leaving. The co-ed clothed area (uniforms provided at check-in) is on the second level. There's additional saunas (clay, salt, etc.), ice room, sleep room, lots of recliners and even a restaurant up there. The wet area is pretty typical for a Korean spa. Gender segregated and nude only. There's a cold plunge, hot pool and warm pool. A row of seats for relaxing. A row of standing showers and two rows of sitting showers. Body scrub area. Sauna and steam room. Im from California but visit New York Spa & Sauna every time I come, which is about twice a year. However, this time I found the experience to be slightly different. Mainly that there's now a spa attendant in the men's wet area who sits right outside of the steam room. He frequently checks the steam and sauna plus strictly enforces the eight person capacity in the steam room. I can assume the purpose is to curb potential misconduct. IYKYK. On my prior visits, especially during the winter, there's times where upwards of a dozen or more people would be packed into the steam room at a time, quite the sausage fest. So I guess it's a plus for you now if you prefer having a little more space in there. The attendant was friendly enough and seems to strike a good enough balance of doing his job and not being too intrusive. I just found it slightly less relaxing since he's constantly counting up and down as people enter and leave the steam room. "Three, two, one, full, one, full, one, two, one, full, one two, three, two, one full, one, full again, please wait" is all you'll constantly hear now in the wet area. Eventually I did tone it out and even knocked out on one of the chairs for a bit, so I still found it overall a relaxing experience, just slightly less so than before. The spa opens until 11pm but the steam closes as 8:30pm and sauna at 9:00pm. If you stay past that, you're welcome to use the other amenities until they announce the check-out time which is a bit before 11pm.
