Such a hidden gem. This restaurant shared the same parking with the motel. Upon arriving, I didn't think much of it. We were greeted right away. We were told that it was their last call. However, when we sat down they allowed us to take our time and even let us ordered more than once. We really wanted their salmon skin salad, but they ran out. We got the fire cracker instead. This turned out to be one of my favs. The tuna was super fresh and yummy. It was so flavorful. The chip was crispy. Everything on that big crispy wonton chip blended so well. We also got the baked mushrooms. I was expecting it to be bigger, but it came with several pieces instead. It was super hot. It was also very good. The yellow jalapeño carpaccio was fresh as well. Each slice was not too thick nor too thin. The tangerine roll was surprisingly yummy. There was no seaweed. They used a very thin layer of something in the inside. Kind of look like soy paper but not sure. Service was amazing. The people there were nice and friendly. We mentioned that we liked the ginger. The male server brought out more for us. It was too much so we told him that we didn't need it. Very kind. I would love to return to try the other items. Thank you for an amazing experience.

I've been coming here for years and just thought to make a review, this place has NEVER let me down. My regular order is the Chicken Karrage, Animal Style Roll and Sunrise on 2nd. Sometimes I get sashimi or the spicy tuna on crispy rice or the firecracker tuna with the wonton chips. I've come here with just my husband and I or my whole family and the service is always amazing! Love the ambiance because it's a chill vibe and the play good music.

Need to add more reviews for this sushi bar! It's my fav sushi bar to sit down on week days! I have been here so many times before! On dates, alone for happy hour, with group of friends and with group of family. It's my go to sushi bar. I like all the fresh quality seafood I get here. Sashimis are thick and fresh, the hand rolls are simple and addicting, rolls are tasty and fulfilling. I love to get hot sake when I go at the evening and cold beer at the noon time. Staffs are very friendly, and orders comes in with decent time. They can get busy during happy hour at lunch time. There's usually enough parking spots, but there's a couple street Parking spots as well. Happy Hour - current time is 3-6pm M-F.

Back again at OHO Sushi Studio for a quick happy hour bite with my girl and once again this spot does not miss We grabbed seats at the bar where our favorite sushi chef Sammy was behind the counter dishing up straight heat as usual. The man is consistent and that's a big part of why this place has become one of our go to spots in Long Beach. We kicked things off with quail egg shooters total umami bombs and a fun way to start the meal. From there we dove into salmon sashimi and salmon belly sashimi and both were exactly how you want them buttery, fresh, and melt in your mouth good. No fishy taste, just clean, rich flavor. For a hot bite we ordered the baked green mussels, which were a great appetizer savory, creamy, and perfect to share. Then it was roll time. We split a Double Tuna roll and the chef's special the "Sammy Delight" both were delicious as always. You can tell Sammy takes pride in his craft the flavor balance and textures on his creations always hit. We wrapped things up with a round of happy hour hand rolls, and every single one hit the spot Spicy Salmon, California, Salmon skin, and Tempura. All of them were tasty, fresh, and generously filled no skimpy rolls here even during happy hour. Service was friendly and efficient, and for the quality of fish you're getting, happy hour is a steal. Between the consistent food, the vibe at the bar, and Sammy doing his thing, this place has firmly earned its 5 stars from me. Already looking forward to the next visit.

Their rolls are my favorite I've had in all of Los Angeles (even though they're in Long Beach)! Staff brings out all the rolls SUPER fast & most staff are extremely nice! Always have soccer & hockey going on the tv's with music overhead! Best place for dates/multi-person outings!!!

Oho is always a pleasure to dine in. They know how to party! I went for my birthday recently, and they turned on the disco lights and music and clapped! Afterwards, there was no awkward stares. Just a quick celebration, and then back to eating. Such a pleasant experience.

This is the BEST Sushi Spot in Long Beach! their TORO with Uni on top! DELICIOUS! Their TORO is Excellent!

OK, so we lived across the street for over a year and for some reason we just never decided to go in but I was on yelp one day and I saw the rating reviews and I said let's just walk over here. And this is one of those five star hidden gems in Long Beach. The place was booming with business. Every table was sad, but we were able to sit down really quickly, which was nice. They have all of my favorites, such as the spicy tuna crispy rice, spicy garlic, edamame, and tons of amazing rolls! I've gone twice. The first time I went. I did a bento box and I would recommend sticking to the sushi! We're definitely coming back over and over !

One of the highlights is their Thai tea, which is served with a popsicle and seems to be one of their most popular items for good reason. It's fun, unique, and absolutely delicious. I also tried the salmon curry, which was something new for me, and I ended up loving it. The flavors were rich, balanced, and unlike anything I've ordered before. Another unexpected favorite was the wings. I'm usually not a big wings person, but these were surprisingly good--crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. It's a spot I would absolutely come back to and one that I would definitely recommend to others.

Kin was one of the only restaurants open until 10 PM. We were seated right away, and somehow the five of us sat in a private room. It was kind of late for me to eat anything really heavy so I just have my usual salad and it was the beef tenderloin salad. They serve it up with a lot of beef and less veggies. The beef itself was a little chewy and in large pieces. I prefer the meat to be cut a little smaller and would like more lettuce and cucumber. I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! The Thai tea itself was pretty standard, but that popsicle was like the icing on a cake. The places, modern and clean. Staff is helpful and nice. We ordered the thai papaya salad, khao soi with beef, thai ice tea, and pork belly with khao soi curry. The food came out extremely fast! The papaya salad was nice and tangy, it came with two pieces of shrimp, definitely could've come with more but it was delicious overall, 7/10. The khao soi was delicious as well, but there was a very small amount of meat for the price and the taste didn't blow me away, 6/10. The pork belly was juicy and crispy! They gave a lot of pork and rice, I think it was worth the price of $25.95, 8/10. The thai ice tea was solid as well. Overall, this place is a bit pricey, we paid $91 for 2 people after tax and tip, but the portion sizes were good, we could barely finish everything. Anyways, we ordered roti with curry sauce, crab curry, and Khao Soi noodle soup with curry sauce and chicken. The roti with curry sauce was good, irresistible, and flavorful, however, I wish the roti was a bit more fluffy and airy. As for the crab curry, I actually thought this was okay in my opinion. It had enough flavors, however, I don't think the sauce was my cup of tea as it was starting to feel a bit overwhelming with the coconut. Lastly, for the Khao Soi noodle soup, I actually thought it was good but definitely not the best dish I've eaten. It's on the lighter side without skipping much of the flavors. Overall, I thought this place was delicious, however, it can be a bit overwhelming with the flavors. The service was okay. The staff were super busy, so it was a bit difficult getting their attention. Street parking in the neighborhood.

Some places cannot get their broth right which does make a major difference. Sometimes it ends up being too watery and defected the purpose. Here, the broth is perfect. Also any of their curries is excellent. This time we went with the massaman curries. Nice thick broth with peanuts, potatoes, onion and carrots in a coconut sauce. Another flavorful dish. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. The ambiance was relaxed, and where we sat in the back was cool because there was upbeat music playing loud enough to muffle the surrounding sounds but still soft enough to have conversation at our table without needing to raise our voice.
