Went in to get our birthday doll with and it opened right on time parking right in front. It tasted really good very mellow flavor. It's almost like an ice cream. It's the person working there was really nice and the store was nice and clean. There are two tables outside that you can sit at a couple steps down highly recommend it.

a pretty solid spot, located in a nice area. the service was fine. they have a nice variety of ingredients & everything tasted fresh. a little on the pricier side (paid $50 for a large & medium bowl). sushi rice has too much vinegar and the salmon could taste fresher. but the ahi tuna was phenomenal! overall, will return if i'm in the area!

My partner and I go to Walnut Creek often, and one of our favorite poke spots used to be Pokeatery. They only have one location left in Walnut Creek, but honestly, it just wasn't as good as when I used to live in San Mateo and visited their location there. I've had Oke Poke on my list for a while, and after seeing so many Yelp reviews saying it's one of the best poke places in the Bay Area, I had to try it. The only downside here is parking. It's in downtown Walnut Creek, so finding a spot can be a bit of a hassle. I got a medium bowl with half salad and half rice, which comes with three protein choices. I went with two scoops of tuna and one scoop of spicy tuna. I added most of the toppings and chose the firecracker sauce along with their spiciest one. The bowl was really good. The fish was fresh, and they were generous with the portions. I'm picky when it comes to tuna since it can sometimes be stringy, but everything here was perfect. My partner agreed this place was excellent, and we both prefer it over Pokeatery. The portions are big too and I usually finish my bowl, but this time I had to take half home. I'll definitely be coming back whenever we're in the area.

Recently have been getting tons of emails from different restaurants all rolling out new apps and giving out deals for first visits. Oke Poke not only had a 50% off bowl but also a free dole whip offer. Came after doing some errands in the area and got the large OG bowl that came with 5 (!) scoops of protein and both my partner and I got a strawberry pineapple dole whip swirl. For only a few more dollars, the larger bowl is incredibly worth it compared to the regular sized bowl with only 3 proteins - I could see others around us eating and that size was significantly smaller. It was more than enough for two. The tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, scallops, etc were very good and fresh, better in quality than some of the other poke chains we have had around Oakland/Berkeley. The sauce combos + the crunchy toppings like edamame, garlic, onions, furikake, etc. also gave a well rounded bowl and we were left very satisfied. The dole whip was really good as well. Not necessarily as smooth as some other dole whips we have had that are closer in texture to a good soft serve ice cream but the flavor and quantity given was fairly generous and left us refreshed after that large meal. All in all, a solid poke place that will have us coming back for more, especially if there are any more deals in the future.

The fish was pretty fresh and toppings as well. But the service was phenomenal! Our cashier had so much energy and was so happy and kind it definitely rubbed off on us. Definitely get a side of tortilla chips to eat with your bowl.

    Gummy White Rice :(

Going to lead off with the not so great. I prefer my poke bowls with white rice but it's gummy, clumpy, and off putting here everytime. FreshBox in Concord has such GOOD fluffy rice so this is pretty disappointing in comparison. Hopefully you can tell what I mean by the picture. Wait times are kind of wild, order ahead a decent amount of time before you actually want to pickup. Love the variety of toppings and sauces and that I'm able to have everything be mixed together instead of separate components just placed on top, because I mix it all together anyways. Beware the firecracker sauce as it is SPICYYYYY but delicious. Also gonna recommend trying their dole whips!

Wow, from a chain, fresh and tasty, however the spicy is not very hot at all. Seems healthy and good amount of protein. Will definitely add this of my rotation of places to hit up.

Really impressed with this poke spot. Fresh, tender fish, toppings were fresh and delicious, and portions were big. We usually go to Pokeatery but this rivals it - very close and I'm still unsure which is king, but what I do know is this spot is amazing and we will be back. The yellowtail, ahi tuna were melt in your mouth, and not stringy. The house sauce was typical poke flavors but got with the heat sauce which gave a little kick (mild). My partner got firecracker which had a good kick (medium). They don't charge for avocado or spicy crab!

I loved loved loved this place. I was super impressed with the cleanliness. Everyone was super friendly My ALL TIME FAVORITE part was that they mix the ingredients for you. Omg life changing. lol. Anyways. Everything is super fresh and great flavor. I am looking forward to eating here again.

I stopped in 1000% for Oke Poke's Dole Whip, just to measure it against the poor experience I had at Pokeatery. The service was friendly and quick, and I ordered the Dole Whip to-go. It came with a top and was a very heavy pour. Once I sat down to enjoy it, I found it fresh, lightly tart, and quite enjoyable. All in all, Oke Poke's Dole Whip was delicious and I will most definitely be back!

Oh yum!!! Great place for poke! I got the medium bowl and it's sooooooo much! It definitely can be shareable. Staff is super patient when I was trying to decide what to put in my bowl. I got the spicy mayo and crunchy garlic as my sauce which was delicious. Good amount of seats inside. Pretty much street parking which can be difficult depending on what time of the day you go. Will definitely go back!!

This has been my absolute go-to spot whenever I'm craving poke! I don't know what kind of magic happened six years ago, but they have been on a consistent winning streak ever since. While you can find a poke bowl on just about any corner these days, we all know it really comes down to two things: the freshness of the ingredients and the sauce. This place nails both every single time. The fish is always high-quality, the toppings are crisp, and the sauces are balanced perfectly--never drowning the fish, just enhancing it! Beyond the food, the service is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Plus, in a world where prices are skyrocketing, I feel like I actually get my money's worth here. One tiny heartbreak: I'm honestly so sad they took the kale salad out of the rotation! That was my absolute favorite base and gave the bowl such a great crunch. Even without my favorite greens, this is still the best spot in town. If you want fresh, fast, and friendly, look no further!

It is in a plaza with a bunch of other stores and restaurants. And it is a pretty busy plaza depending when you decide to go there. Mixed BBQ Plate: 7/10 you honestly can't go wrong with a mixed plate. I asked for double make and 1 scoop of rice. I was not so fond of the macaroni salad already scooped into the small clear side food containers. I ate into it and it tasted like it was already prepacked a few days ago and stored in the fridge. I tend to stick to my Hawaiian restaurant I usually go to, but Brentwood is way too far out there. Seafood Plate: 8/10 my husband like his food and ate it all. He wasn't complaining about it, but his face said otherwise. He only wishes that the plate matched what it was priced for. Overall: 7/10 this place definitely needs a remodel and a clean up around the soda machine, walls and tables. I get it, times are tough, but this place has been here for a while. I do agree that the price didn't match what was given to us and I personally think, that when you are charging almost $5 for Musubi, the cut of the spam should be cut a bit thicker. I do think this place can be better, but I know that if you go there, you might have a better experience than I did. Total price with tip came out to $68.
