Super cute but very pricey Korean cafe. It seems like I have a bit of a different opinion, but I thought the strawberry snow bowl was tiny and very expensive for the size. My friend and I shared it and were not fully satisfied. Honestly, I could have eaten the whole thing by myself. The aesthetic was nice and it was tasty, but I think you can probably find a better value bingsoo that tastes similar elsewhere. I might be back to try another item or two, but my impression was that the portions of the cafe are quite small. The basque cheesecake I was interested in getting as well seemed smaller than the average cheesecake slice. Beyond that though, the cafe looks great and has a nice aesthetic. This was the cutest Korean dessert place I've been to in a while! I came here with a friend early near lunch time and we ordered a Green Tea Snow Bowl with Red Bean and a sweet pumpkin porridge. It took a while to make it, since the girl was the only one working there. The girl said they use a new green tea powder so she recommended it. While we were waiting for our order, we sat down and enjoyed the kpop music Youtube videos. I think she likes Big Bang a lot because most of it were them or just GD. I didn't mind, it added to the ambiance! I had never tried sweet pumpkin porridge, which was a hot dessert that was pretty filling with the rice balls and seeds. The green tea snow bowl was so delicate and pretty with the red beans placed right on top with the rice balls. I really wondered how she made it without anything sliding off the snow ball, but the green tea bowl tasted even better than it looked! The snow was not icy like most other places where it just tastes like a snow cone with artificial flavoring. I enjoyed it. It was extremely light which was perfect after having an extremely heavy dinner. I could've finished the individual sized snow on my own...The size is perfect. I wasn't sure how to go about eating it but we ended up mixing all the items in the cup together. Loved the texture and taste of the honey, yogurt, snow and coconut flakes. Gold Snow Bowl with Red Bean - The gold snow bowl comes with kinako (roasted soybean) powder, red bean and mochi. I don't know if things have changed since the pandemic, but I was surprised they only gave two pieces of mochi. For $10.95, most other bingsoo places I've tried are typically generous with toppings. If I'd known there would be so few mochi pieces, I would have ordered extra. I'd say the large bowls can feed 2-3 people at most. Strawberry Snow Bowl - To our disappointment, the snow in this one was practically melted! This was strange because the snow in the gold bowl had been perfectly fine. Aside from the slush, the strawberries were fresh and extra sweet thanks to the condensed milk. Omija Tea - This five-flavor tea was one I hadn't seen before so I thought I'd give it a try. As described, it is a tea that boasts five flavors - sweetness, sourness, bitterness, saltiness, and pungency. Drinking it yields health benefits that range from detoxification of your digestive system to beautification of your skin. While the rouge color is very pretty, its flavor is deceptively complex. It is not a drink for those who have low tolerance for bitterness. I didn't mind it because I enjoy bitter foods, but it wouldn't be my first choice, especially since the whole cup was filled with ice. Overall, Okrumong was a tad pricey for my tastes, especially since the iciness of the snow bowls were inconsistent and toppings were minimal. Pretty easy to locate and park. Nice and clean place. The size is actually pretty small comparing to what I got at a similar Korean store in Pasadena. I would not call this shaved snow. Bingsoooo!! We don't have any bingsoo specialty stores back home so it was cool to see a storefront specifically for bingsoo. They have snow options with or without red bean, and a few other choices of pastries and drinks. We went with the green tea and black sesame snow bowls. They're pretty small bowls but they're packed with snow pretty high - I would recommend sharing one between two people, but we wanted to try two flavors. I favored the green tea over the black sesame. The black sesame was good at first but after a while the flavor became a bit tiring. The green tea was really good especially when paired with the red bean - and I don't even like red bean!
