I feel like breakfast spots are hard to come by in NY so I was glad to find Oldays. We came in on a Saturday and luckily I made a reservation because they were busy. We were able to get seated right away. This is a small place, so as you'd expect, tables are pretty small too but we made do. I enjoyed my eggs and bacon - bacon was delicious. My main reason for picking this place was because they have a vegan waffle on the menu. It's the only kind of waffle they have I'm told, so less risky for cross-contamination. My husband loved it. Totally made his day that he could have a waffle. Their coffee was also really good. I had their americano and it was perfect. They're also in a really good location. I have been here a few times. The brunch food and drinks are very solid. I'd say try the nonalcoholic drinks as they are surprisingly good. Just go light on the lemon juice. The vegetarian burrito was not very good: too healthy in my opinion with not enough flavor. Do yourself a favor and try their carbs and eggs. Service here is alright, make sure you get reservations and you'll probably still need to wait a bit. This is a cute small place for breakfast. The customer service was superb, and the food was excellent! I honestly loved my French toast with fresh fruits. I normally don't eat blue berries or even finished all of my fruits. I actually did and ate all of it. The strawberry was sweet, blue berries was also sweets and my French toast was very crunchy and soft when I drizzled syrup all over it. My chai tea latte was very warm and it was perfect for the weather when it was cold. I definitely would recommend anyone who is visiting NY City and visit this place for breakfast.
