Jamie W. and I were stuffed into a table for two that was next to another table for two and buttressed against larger tables. The server had to yell over the noise to interact with us. The cafe has Argentinian roots, so maybe Buenos Aires cafes operate that way. The banging chair backs and overhanging shoulders and arms added to the chaotic ambiance, but we persevered because we walked a ways to get here. So glad my friend and I were able to snag a table without reservations on the weekend! We only had to wait 15 minutes for a table to open up - I recommend either making reservations or coming around 12-1 PM for less of a wait time. Also note: there's a time limit for the tables (I think ~90 minutes). The menu is pretty expansive - they also serve lunch/dinner here too, so there's definitely something for everyone here. Since it was brunch, I decided to try out the Sweet Burrata (one of their specials for the month). I really enjoyed the Sweet Burrata - the sweet/tanginess of the tomatoes were balanced out with the creaminess of the burrata. A touch of balsamic glaze would have really tied the dish together. I would definitely order it again - it was definitely enough for one person. Prices are also pretty reasonable for a farm-to-table concept. They also have a pretty expansive coffee/tea menu (matcha lavender lattes anyone?) I also like how they make their oak and almond milk in house! I was really drawn in with their branded coffee mugs and was delighted to find out they sell it as a gift set for only $20! The gift set comes wrapped in a nice box with a mug, a bag of coffee beans, a bag of granola, and a nice tote bag. Such a great deal for $20 and the granola was delicious! The spot is cozy, well decorated, with a fresh summer feel to it. Both times I have been here we have had a great experience. The wait time for the food was absolutely horrendous. We waited over 30 minutes for our food, and our server only checked in with us when I'm sure my eyes were shooting daggers at him. Now it's time to dive into the overpriced food. My friend found her brioche to be average. For me, I thought the dish overall was bland, the eggs especially. The bread they served was soft, but, as another reviewer below mentioned, was not served with butter. The potatoes had a mix of flavor. Some were flavorless, while others had wayyy too much salt. Ordered The Forest and a matcha latte, both pictured. Beautiful presentation and fantastic taste. The mushrooms and brie cheese were an amazing combination of flavors. The matcha was pretty good too, quite bitter, so definitely add some sugar if that is your speed! The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that we had ordered another beverage about half way through the meal. We waited a while and it hadn't come, we asked our waitress again, and we still waited a while after that. Turns out it was ready, but never brought to us. We asked a third time about 25 minutes after first asking and she apologized, but then also told us we have 10 minutes left until another reservation needed a table. Ended up having to basically chug the cappuccino because we were very shortly after told we had to forfeit the table. I totally understand the need to turn tables for reservations, but was upset with the chain of events that lead to the rush out. Overall great experience and will definitely be returning! They just opened in July 2022, but this is their third location, after Buenos Aires and Miami. The inside was bigger than it looked from the outside. I decided to try one of their Cold Pressed drinks, Forever Young. It had super strong with flavor, it will wake you up for sure! For appetizer, we tried Tapioca Bites. It lacked flavor somehow. The dipping sauces were great, but even with that, it was not as good as I wanted them to be. For main, we chose Champ-Pancakes, and Short Rib Bun. The pancake looked so pretty, large, with generous stuffing of fresh, ripe bananas. It was very filling and satisfying! Short Rib was so tender and juicy, with just the right amount of sweetness to it. An excellent sandwich! Our server was polite and friendly, we were well taken care of.
