Err, one instance that didn't go so well isn't fair to judge a restaurant on. First off, it's a drive in. You're not gonna get 'Jeeves' serving you pinot grigio with a cloth over his forearm. It's usually crowded with no nonesense bikers, and old people glued to their newspapers. What you see is what you get. The food is largely portioned and not expensive. The selection is impressive, and the quality is perfect for what you may expect (suprisingly fresh). All in all, Old Time is cut and dry. I usually order the Garden burger combo (fries and a drink), add avocado and swiss cheese, please! Their dressings are great (50cents extra), but worth it. Ive been coming here for about 10years, it use to be walking distance to where I use to live. You need to try their chicken burrito with avocados and sour cream thats what I get every time I go there. The drive-thru goes pretty quick so if there is a large line inside just go through the drive-thru. read more

I grew up on Old TIme, its the true definition of a mom and pop diner/restaurant..I go here solely these days for a good burger and their chicken strips are just as good. I've had their giant breakfasts and salads but not in a while.. I do not recommend a breakfast burrito here but in their defense they don't rave about them. I remember a time when $4 would get you a full meal but hey the economy and times change, they haven't gone that high in price still fairly decent for the quality of food. Service, always varies..They hire young high school or fresh out of high school girls, they aren't always too attentive but nothing to complain about. They could keep the place a bit cleaner, especially the bathrooms..As far as the clients, its hit and miss..You can get your usual old racist guys(gotta love em anyways) or the average joe.. Come here whenever I'm in LA for their corn dogs and French toast. Everything here is pretty good and you can get literally anything you're in the mood for. Drive through can be a nightmare and takes like 15-20 minutes. But overall, good food and good price. read more

This place has my favourite burgers. I never go through the drive thru, so I can't comment on that. That being said, the drive thru always has at least a small line. If you order to stay, the food is brought to you. The fries are decent. The sauce on the burgers is what really makes them I think. There's a junior burger for those wanting to eat less or for kids. They have cherry coke!! The only downsides are that the bathrooms have clearly been abused by hundreds of customers often in the past, and the menu is too big. I will never come here ever again. First time and definitely the last. The girl at the register has the WORST customer service, HORRIBLE attitude, and didn't even care she messed up the order and still tried to charge me. Did I mention they have a "convenience" fee for all card transactions. Then, when I wanted to cancel the entire order due to her rotten attitude, she told me with the worst attitude that's not happening. She then began speaking in Spanish to the cooks, most likely talking down to me. This went on and on. When I I reluctantly got the order, she literally threw it down and didn't even look at me. If I was the owner here, I would be ashamed. This place is garbage. I haven't even eaten yet and I highly doubt it will be worth my time, frustration, money, and/or worth eating. Stopped in for a garden burger, and this was the worse customer service I have had in a really long time. We started out the order with a very friendly girl, but she was dismissed by who seems to be the manager, and sent her home, mid order! She apologize d for her and said, she's new. I said, I couldn't tell. She smirked. As we were ordering she was answering the drive thru. Why would you send someone home when there are guest waiting in line? Then to make it worse, as we are sitting and waiting for the food, the manager girl and the other girl seem to be hating on the girl who was sent home early. It Is A small place, So Maybe if we're sitting on the opposite side of the restaurant, we shouldn't hear the crew. Also, manager girl was very impatient with customers, she even rolled her eyes while answering phone questions. She told a customer his order would be togo! This is just very crazy to me.. Now I can deal with someone having a bad night, but when a place closes at 11pm, at 1029 I shouldn't be told to wrap it up because she has to clean. I come here almost everyday...They have great breakfast menu's, just about any type of omlette, and they all taste great...For lunch they have anything from burgers to hot/cold sandwhiches ...I really like their pastrami sandwich with grilled onions and pickles...Its so amazing...They're known for their burgers, i prefer the Double bacon cheeseburgers with onion rings or fried zucchini...they also have a couple vegetarian dishes...But the food is good and the staff is cool too read more
