I grew up around the corner from an Olga's and that was the place my HS friends and I used to go for a fancy dinner. We'd split a basket of snackers and gossip over orange cream coolers. Lots of fond memories and pining over crushes and snarking over "mean" teachers went on there. So the other day when I was feeling particularly stressed I wanted something comforting from "the good old days" to perk me up. An Olga's order was...well...in order. I haven't ordered from this location before but they're currently the last spot in town so we went with that, even though they are on the other side of town. I was bracing myself for a lukewarm meal thanks to the distance but everything was great, aside from the fries which did lose a bit of their crispiness (totally to be expected and not much to be done about that). The snackers were delicious and just as I remembered them and my husband and I both really enjoyed our sandwiches. The flatbread is still just as good as when it put them on the map. FYI they're on several delivery apps but if you order through their own app you can still get delivery without the markup (you do pay for the delivery itself but it's still cheaper than ordering through a 3rd party) AND they'll give you loyalty points and a free app for signing up!

When I come back home to Michigan I always stop off at Olga's. I crave their spinach pies and gyros. The pita is sweeter than most places and the sauce hits the spot. The only thing that was off this time was one of the pies was dark brown and the other very light brown and almost. underdone. While I did take out, the restaurant looked neat and clean.

My friend wanted to go here because she likes the Spinach dip. I decided that I would get the original Olga which has lamb and beef. Simple enough. The place is discombobulated. We were waited on quickly but the manager had to take over because they were new. Our order was taken for a second time. My friend complained because the dip was cold and there were no chips. We went back and they gave us chips. I got home and had a chicken Olga. My mouth was all set fir lamb. I should have checked. Maybe this place is better during the day. Going this late was not a good idea or this place needs better training.

Fairly new store. It is clean, and well kept. Our visit was for lunch. Service was great. The food was fast and fresh. Only bummer was that the special menu that original brought me in, was being phased out and I wasn't able to get the Asian salad. It was so good! I do wish they had something similar on the regular menu. The orange cream cooler taste has changed to me. It's a fake orange flavor that didn't used to be there, or perhaps it's just me. I won't order that again but this won't keep me away from Olga's. Their snackers are still the bomb. Need to try the zucchini fries next time and super cheese. That's the cheesiest melding I have ever seen.

Clean location ! Great staff! Food came out fast and hot ,and not over cooked ! not a single complaint! love their chicken tender pita, snackers and desserts!

DON'T get the salad! I've been doing take out here quite a bit over the last year and almost always got a salad with no problems at all, but the last two times I've ordered, I've had literal rotten greens in the salad- not just wilting, but slimy, discolored, ROTTING lettuce. (Note that the photo below does not have dressing on it- the moisture is all just...decay.) The first time I filled out a feedback form and was never contacted or refunded - this time I plan to call until I'm able to get a refund.

Shoutout to my friend and fellow foodie Tiffany for always being down to try a new spot together!…read moreWe did a double date at El Harissa recently and it's my favorite kind of spot - welcoming and warm, with delicious food, and kind, patient employees. The cafe is a few tables inside of the market/deli, with a lot of takeout happening but I love that they offer dining in as they heat everything up for you and it's all presented very nicely. We ordered a ton of things: harissa dip, hummus, pita, spice roasted cauliflower, tabbouleh, lasagne verde, chicken tagine, and gelato. I loved that the menu indicates which menu items have a smaller carbon footprint - and we happened to be dining there on Earth Day! The food was all flavorful and the perfect temperature, which I appreciated. My favorites were the harissa dip, tabbouleh, and the lasagne verde. The chicken tagine was very good, and we enjoyed the leftovers the next day. The spice roasted cauliflower left us wanting it to be a bit more crispy, but it was a nice side. The gelato is delicious - it's made by Palazzolo's but El Harissa provides them with the unique ingredients for their specialty flavors. They were out of some but we got to sample several. We ended up with the roasted pistachio gelato and the apricot peach cardamom. The texture of the gelato was perfectly creamy and the flavors were strong. The market has lots of great items to buy: chips, tunisian olive wood pieces, spices, etc. I'm so glad we sought out this spot and can't wait to get more of their food!

We got seated right before a waitlist started building. The QR code ordering wasn't working for us, but you can just order at the counter and the staff were helpful, so it wasn't a big deal. I got the Juicy Sean wrap, the pkhali side plate, and the chocolate tahini shake. The walleye in the wrap was really good, super fresh and light. I think next time I'd get extra sauce though because it leaned a little dry for me. The pkhali side plate was great. I've heard it's seasonal, which makes me want to come back and see what else they rotate in. The flatbread paired really well with it. The chocolate tahini shake was good. I'd heard a lot about it. It just didn't stand out as much as I expected personally. Overall I really liked it and I'd come back, especially to try more of the seasonal stuff.

If I had gotten my full order it probably would have been a 5 star meal. I had the Dearborn sandwich which was basically a chicken shawarma, dark chicken meat with garlic paste and pickles. It was GREAT. I added extra protein so it was stacked. Their garlic paste (toum) was also awesome. My husband was away at a conference so I could get freaky with the garlic and ordered an extra side of it to dip my fries in it, too. Alas, no fries so I dipped my sandwich right into it instead. It was POTENT and delicious! Just how I like it. I also ordered a small hummus and pita chips. It was a pretty generous serving for small and was excellent. Nice and smooth and the pita chips were so good! I ran out of pita chips so I'd add an extra side of those next time. So yes, there will be a next time, because it was really good, but I'll be sure to ask my delivery person to double check that everything is in the bag next time.

People very friendly and helpful. You get to see them make it right in front of you and put the wraps in the grill. We got the Detroit Gyro, Detroit Chicken Shawarma, and the Super Dearborn. We also ordered a bunch of sides (see photo) including hummus, pickles, and peppers. The food was great especially with the additional toppings. I'm sure anything you get it will be great here. Next time I plan to sign up for the rewards program which another reviewer mentioned which I did not know about and try the Mini Combo Family Pack. I cannot wait to go back there.
